Town & Country RV Park and Campground Introduce
Are you searching for the perfect "camping near me" experience in the local Savage, Minnesota area? Look no further than Town & Country RV Park and Campground, located at 12630 Boone Ave. This campground offers a convenient and potentially tranquil setting for RV enthusiasts and campers looking for a nearby escape. While online information may be limited, and direct details about the park's extensive features require further exploration, we can piece together an initial introduction based on available information and user reviews to help you decide if it aligns with your local camping needs.
Based on customer feedback, Town & Country RV Park and Campground appears to offer a generally quiet atmosphere, particularly at night. This could be a significant draw for those seeking a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Imagine unwinding under the stars in a serene environment, enjoying the natural sounds of the surroundings. However, one reviewer noted that the lighting at night, while present, might make navigation a bit challenging, and there seems to be a lack of clear signage for exits and entrances within the campground. This is something to keep in mind as you plan your stay and might warrant extra caution when moving around the grounds after dark.
The size of the campground is described by one reviewer as "not big at all." While this might imply a more intimate and potentially less crowded camping experience, the same reviewer also expressed concern about the layout, suggesting that it might be easy to get disoriented with a wrong turn. This highlights the importance of perhaps obtaining a map of the campground upon arrival, if available, or paying close attention to your surroundings as you settle in.
On a more positive note, another visitor mentioned being assigned a pull-through site, which is a significant convenience for RV owners. Pull-through sites eliminate the need to back your RV into a space, making the setup and departure process much smoother and less stressful, especially for larger rigs or less experienced drivers. This suggests that the campground caters to RVs and understands the needs of RV travelers.
The same positive review also indicated the presence of a game room within the park. This amenity can be a fantastic addition, especially for families with children or for those looking for some indoor entertainment during their stay. Game rooms often provide a space for socializing, playing various games, and escaping inclement weather. The specific types of games available are not mentioned, but the presence of such a facility adds to the potential appeal of the campground.
It's worth noting that one review mentioned a visit before the pool was open. This implies that Town & Country RV Park and Campground may offer a swimming pool as an amenity during certain times of the year, likely the warmer months. A pool can be a major attraction for campers, providing a refreshing way to cool off on hot days and a fun activity for all ages. If a pool is a priority for your "camping near me" experience, it would be advisable to inquire about its operating schedule when making your reservation.

Town & Country RV Park and Campground Reviews
Very quiet at night... there is some lights but very easy to get lost.. no signs as to where you can exit or enter. It's not big at all either but I could see myself getting lost and stuck there with one wrong turn.
Feb 27, 2025 · Pa XiongWe were given a pull through site. We were here before the pool was open. Nice park with a game room
May 03, 2025 · Cathy BrienenWould give way more stars if we could!Without a doubt the best campsite we've found from Canada to Montana and onto the Midwest...Felt like home.Attention to detail. They run a tight clean ship. Safe. Secure. Cozy. Bathrooms are clean and well kept, and in a central location. Well lit all night. All staff are friendly, personable, and make you feel like family.Located in great little neighborhoods with parks close by, and great running routes. Safe. Accessible. We will definitely be back.LOVE.
Jul 21, 2024 · Alycia KapplerI thought this was a very nice campground. The kids loved the playground and the game room but other things really disappointed me. First, we were quoted $900 for the month for a full hook up site once we got there we found out that in the fine print the $900 is only if you booked two months and not just one. Also, we did not have a full hook up site. We only had electric and water. As the month went on, all of the neighbors that moved in also thought that they had booked full hook up sites. so about every four or five days we had to pack everything in and go dump, even though we were using the showers there and the laundry facilities instead of in our RV. They ended up getting an extra hundred dollars from us in laundry fees. Then they added on fees for the kids and the dogs, That they did not mention when we booked. We ended up paying over $1800 for the month plus laundry. Then, once we checked out, they charged my credit card $25 for Trash and another 25 for damages. We called to ask what this was all about, but they never returned our call. So, all in all it’s a pretty nice campground, but read the fine print and beware they will nickel and dime to death.
Jul 01, 2024 · Dianne BeckerIs a nice small RV Campground- the pool is small but adequate if there aren't many children camping. Lots of trees for shade. I would have given it 5 stars but I came here for peace and quiet and had to listen to them dumping gravel and leveling it out all afternoon- right next to our sight. So, that was very disappointing.
