You can contact them at (906) 282-2904 or their mobile number, +1 906-282-2904. Based on the available customer reviews, experiences at this campground appear to vary.
One reviewer who had previously considered Tranquil Vista Campground their "favorite" noted a recent decline in their experience. This suggests that the environment and atmosphere may have changed over time. The review detailed an encounter with a group of campers, assumed to be long-term residents, who allegedly told the new arrivals to leave shortly after they had set up their campsite. This incident created a negative first impression for these particular campers.
The same negative review also touched upon campground rules regarding pets. The reviewer's understanding was that all dogs should be leashed. They mentioned that while their three Dobermans were tied down, a few large, unleashed dogs belonging to the group who asked them to leave acted aggressively towards their pets. This situation raised concerns about potential dog fights and the behavior of some individuals at the campground, who were described as "obviously intoxicated." Ultimately, these campers chose to leave due to these concerns, expressing disappointment as the campground had previously been a "very peaceful and fun place to camp."
It is important to note that the reviewer explicitly stated that they did not hold the campground owner responsible for this incident, as the owner was not present at the time. The owner reportedly contacted them afterward and offered a free two-night stay as an apology for the unpleasant experience. Despite this gesture, the affected campers indicated that they no longer felt comfortable returning to the campground and did not recommend it for "rent campers" based on their experience.
In contrast, another reviewer shared a much more positive perspective, stating that Tranquil Vista Campground is "one of the best campgrounds we have stayed at." This reviewer mentioned having stayed there for the past four years, consistently finding everyone to be "so friendly and welcoming." They also highlighted the campground's Halloween party as "awesome," praising the "hard work and dedication" put into it. This positive feedback suggests that many visitors have had enjoyable experiences at Tranquil Vista Campground, particularly those who have been returning for several years.
Considering these differing viewpoints, the environment at Tranquil Vista Campground seems to have been perceived as peaceful and enjoyable by some, while others have encountered less favorable social dynamics. The presence of long-term or permanent campers might contribute to the overall community feel, which can be positive for some but potentially exclusionary for others, as suggested by the negative review.
Information regarding specific services and features is somewhat limited. The mention of leash rules implies that pets are generally allowed. The positive reviewer's comment about the Halloween party suggests that the campground may organize social events, fostering a sense of community among campers. However, details about typical campground amenities such as restroom facilities, water hookups, or recreational areas are not provided in these reviews.
Given the mixed feedback, it's challenging to definitively describe the features of Tranquil Vista Campground. The positive review highlights friendliness and welcoming attitudes, along with organized events like the Halloween party. The negative review points to potential issues with rule enforcement (specifically regarding unleashed dogs) and the behavior of some long-term campers.

For local users looking for "camping near me," Tranquil Vista Campground in Pembine, WI, presents a mixed picture based on these two reviews. While one long-term visitor speaks highly of the friendly and welcoming atmosphere and enjoys events like the Halloween party, another recent visitor had a significantly negative experience involving the behavior of other campers and concerns about rule enforcement. Potential visitors may want to weigh these contrasting experiences when considering this campground.
In summary, based on the provided reviews, Tranquil Vista Campground offers:

Tranquil Vista Campground Reviews
At one time this was our favorite campground, but it has totally gone down hill recently. Our last experience was the worst when a group of campers( I assume they stay there permanently)Told us that we should leave . This was in the late afternoon, after we had already set up our campsite. It was my understanding that the campground rules were that all dogs should be required to be leashed, and not running around freely. Our dogs were tied up to a cable type tie down, however the people who told us to leave, had a few large dogs unleashed, whom had ran up on our 3 dogs and started to act aggressively towards our 3 doberman's. This was not a good situation, and instead of having to worry about a possibility of a dog fight, and the aggressive nature of the permanent campers who( obviously intoxicated) had told us we were not welcome there and that we needed to leave.Instead of dealing with this group of people, we decided to pack up and leave, for fear of further aggression by the unleashed dogs and these intoxicated permanent campers. We were so disappointed to have to deal with this type of experience and what used to be a very peaceful and fun place to camp. We did get a call from the campground owner, who was not there when this all took place, and she offered to let us stay for a couple of nights free due to my this unpleasant situation. We don't hold this situation against the owner, however the damage was already done and we just don't feel comfortable returning to this campground.Again this is by no means the owner of the campgrounds fault, and she apologized profusely for this bad experience that we encountered.I don't feel that this is a good place for rent campers and we will not return due to this experience.
