Wagner Park Campground Reviews
Awesome spot to pull off and roof tent camp for the night. Spacious tent camping area where you can be by yourself. Bathrooms could be better but did the job and had hot showers and flushable toilets. Absolutely no bugs, safe place that was quiet for a quick night on our way through. RV sites also convenient but close to one another. Perfect spot for a pass through. Camp host was very prompt with any vehicle that came in and we had a great night sleep.
Jul 27, 2024 · Ashley JohnsonBest campground I've been to. Very clean. The grounds are well-groomed, sites are level. Plenty of tent space. Pet friendly. They sprayed for mosquitos twice while I was there. Very friendly campground hosts. Nice views with trees, benches by the creek for relaxing or bird watching, fire rings with wood for sale, and clean restrooms with huge showers. Lots of green space. A bouncy house for the kids. A mini lending library( book exchange) Close to swimming beach and fishing. Inexpensive with discounts on longer stays. The only downside is that you can hear some of the interstate traffic..unavoidable.
Aug 07, 2024 · Margaret McCoyThis campground was a great find!! The camp host is beyond super!! When we pulled we wasn’t expecting an escort to our campsite and this was awesome! Quick and easy was into the site!! The camp ground is maintained beautifully! Very well manicured & clean! The shower house/bathroom was very clean as well. Plus the host has a garden and gives away produce to the campers FREE!! What a nice surprise! Also nice to see the city police come thru the campground. Also the host was very aware of community happenings in the area so we was able to explore and enjoy events in Barnesville, Sabin as well as Fargo. I give this campground a 10+ as well as the host a 10+. We would definitely come back again when we are up in this area!
Aug 18, 2024 · wilma boothWhat a gem! Wonderful park! Great host! So much amazing green space! Very reasonable price for full hook ups! Slight highway noise...... Otherwise, quiet! The pull-through sites are VERY close to each other on one side, (slide-outs practically touch!) but you have a very nice space of your own on the other side.
May 31, 2024 · Louise BecklundMy wife and stayed at Wagner Park Campground for two days during our travels across this great country. The campgrounds is a Hidden Gem. While is does not have a lot of extra amenities, it is very clean, friendly, and run by a very professional host, Craig I think (I a couple days late in writing this review and have stayed at three places since). It is priced very reasonably, and the shower/latrines are very clean. I highly recommend this campground if going near Morehead, MN or Fargo, ND; it's in Barnesville, MN. I have added it to my list of places to stay at again when traveling in that part of the country. Happy Trails - T & C Barnes.
