Wilderness Cabins Reviews
Such an amazing place to unwind and detach from all your electronic devices. It's right off the Kancamagus Highway and surrounded by White Mountain National Forest, so you're truly secluded. Nicole and Chris are very friendly and welcoming! They run the generator once in the morning and once in the evening for an hour each, otherwise you're running off a propane heater and candle light (we stayed for two nights in mid-October). Each cabin has a firepit/chimenea which was great for evening fires. All the essentials (cutlery, dishes, pots and pans) are stocked, but make sure to bring some paper towels/toilet paper. Also - a gallon or two of water for washing dishes and flushing the toilet when the generator isn't working was very helpful for us. Overall it was a great experience and something we'll never forget!
