Carolina Village Mobile Home Community Introduce
Carolina Village Mobile Home Community, located at 111 Universal Cir, Moyock, NC 27958, USA, is a residential community for manufactured homes. While platforms might broadly categorize such properties under "RV Parks Near Me," it is important to clarify that Carolina Village is primarily a long-term living solution for manufactured homeowners, rather than a transient RV park. For inquiries, the community can be reached at (252) 435-2663 or via mobile at +1 252-435-2663.
The environment of Carolina Village Mobile Home Community, as described by residents, presents a mixed picture. While the concept of a mobile home community typically implies a residential setting with individual lots for manufactured homes, actual conditions can vary. Resident reviews highlight significant concerns regarding the physical infrastructure, particularly the roads within the park. The presence of "potholes everywhere" and statements that "roads were supposed to be repaved but there not" suggest a challenging internal road network. This indicates that the common areas, specifically the roadways, may be in a state of disrepair, impacting the overall aesthetic and practical navigability of the community.
Furthermore, concerns are raised about the general upkeep of the property, with "rotten trees on property that management always say that there going to take care of. Are still rotten and not taken care of." This suggests issues with tree maintenance and potentially other neglected aspects of the common grounds, which can detract from the living environment and raise safety concerns for residents. The overall impression from resident feedback is that the physical environment suffers from a lack of consistent and effective maintenance, despite promises of improvements.
Regarding services and features, a mobile home community like Carolina Village typically provides individual lots with essential utility hookups for manufactured homes, which commonly include water, sewer, and electricity. Residents are generally responsible for their own home maintenance and utility usage. However, a significant concern expressed by residents pertains to the quality of the water supply. The statement "The water in house's can't be drank. I get charged for" is a serious accusation, implying issues with potable water quality, despite residents being billed for the service. This suggests a critical deficiency in a fundamental service.
Management practices are a central theme in customer feedback, with residents expressing strong dissatisfaction. Reviews describe "very very poor management" and frequent "Owners change more often than I can count." This instability in ownership and management appears to lead to a lack of continuity and consistent adherence to promises. Tenants report that "So many promises of resolution /upgrades every year with no result ever." This suggests a history of unfulfilled commitments regarding property improvements and maintenance. The sentiment is that "not 1 Year has management or owners improved anything," directly contradicting stated intentions for rent increases.
A recurring and significant issue for tenants is the pattern of rent increases. Reviews state that "Every year rent goes up. Every year they find new ways to charge more money. For what is called 'improvement's' not 1 Year has management or owners improved anything." This indicates that rent increases are perceived by residents as being implemented without corresponding tangible improvements to the community, leading to a strong sense of dissatisfaction and distrust. The perception is that these increases are "scams, lies, and false statements."
The introduction of "new rules" by recent owners that "does not help the tenants at all" further contributes to a negative resident experience. This suggests a management approach that may prioritize the park's operational or financial interests over resident well-being and convenience. The combination of rising costs, perceived lack of improvements, and unfavorable rule changes contributes to a challenging living situation for the residents.
Promotional information for Carolina Village Mobile Home Community, if available, would likely emphasize its location in Moyock, NC, potentially highlighting its accessibility to local amenities or regional attractions. However, based on the customer reviews, any promotion would need to be critically assessed against the reported resident experiences. Historically, mobile home communities are promoted as offering an affordable alternative to traditional housing, providing a sense of community, and the benefits of homeownership without the land purchase. They typically highlight features such as individual lots, utility hookups, and potentially communal areas like playgrounds or clubhouses if present. However, the current feedback indicates that residents' experiences are significantly overshadowed by maintenance issues and management concerns.
The community's objective, as implied by its category, is to provide long-term manufactured home residency. However, the stated issues with infrastructure maintenance (potholes, rotten trees), water quality, and a perceived lack of transparency and follow-through from management severely impact its ability to deliver on this objective from a resident's perspective. The strong advice from current residents to "find a better park" serves as a critical warning for prospective tenants searching for "RV Parks Near Me" or more accurately, "Mobile Home Parks Near Me" in the Moyock, NC area.
In conclusion, while Carolina Village Mobile Home Community offers designated lots for manufactured homes, the consistent and strongly negative customer feedback indicates significant challenges in its environment, services, and management. Prospective residents should conduct thorough due diligence, including visiting the property and speaking with current tenants, to gain a full understanding of the living conditions and management practices before considering this community for long-term residency.

Pot holes everywhere. Very very poor management. Shandy Owners change more often than I can count. The water in house's can't be drank. I get charged for. Roads were supposed to be repaved but there not. Rotten trees on property that management always say that there going to take care of. Are still rotten and not taken care of. So many promises of resolution /upgrades every year with no result ever. Year after year rent goes up. Every year they find new ways to charge more money. For what is called "improvement's" not 1 Year has management or owners improved anything. Seems like when something is actually going to get done. Contracts get sent out. why rent is increased always for only what I can call now scams, lies, and false statements.I would give a 0 if I could.
May 05, 2024 · Stephen WilliamsThe park was just sold and the new owners have put new rules together which does not help the tenants at all. The rent keeps going up and the promise of the roads are never kept. I was told 12 years ago that the roads were going to be repaved when the rent went up the 1 st time it was to repave the road but it was not done and now we have potholes in every road in here. I would advise you to find a better park.
Aug 31, 2022 · Patricia KimballI bought my mobile home in 2010.When I bought it it was under different management and it was decent. Since then we have a different manager that leaves a lot to be desired. I have been trying to get a simple bulb replaced in the street light across from my trailer I've been trying to get this replaced for almost 4 months with no help at all sent messages to her sent messages to the owner and anybody else I thought might listen but nobody seems to care that this place is turning into a dump.the roads in here are atrocious they have holes big enough to eat your vehicle I have to get a front-end alignment every few months because they're so bad so maybe you might want to consider buying or renting somewhere else for the people really care that run the place and own the place about their tenants. it seems the rent keeps going up but there's no maintenance done or no improvements made.
May 14, 2019 · Patricia KimballUnbelievable went by there today with 10,000.00 in my pocket wanted to buy a mobil home here. There where allot of empty trailers, and the woman in the office long black hair, told me the owner has put a freeze on any one wanting to buy a mobil home (trailer). Unbelievable I do not think the owner of this park would pass up large sum of money and have someone who would fix up there property. But oh well there loss, the place is looking worse and worse, I just do not understand some people.
Oct 12, 2019 · Mitchell DunlowWish I could give it a 0 star. They charge people outrageously for lot rent and line their pockets instead of fixing the streets. The entire neighborhood is covered in potholes and dips in the streets big enough to damage your car. Criminal smfh
