Daydream Mobile Home Community under new management. Never owned page just named me as one. Introduce
Daydream Mobile Home Community, located at 4053 W Neck Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23456, USA, operates as a residential community for manufactured homes. While the given name "Daydream Mobile Home Community under new management. Never owned page just named me as one." suggests a recent change in ownership and a clarification about its online presence, this introduction will focus on the community itself based on available public information, including customer reviews. It's important to note that despite the name, this is primarily a mobile home community designed for long-term residency, rather than a transient RV park, which is a common search on platforms like "RV Parks Near Me."
Daydream Mobile Home Community is situated in Virginia Beach, Virginia, a city renowned for its coastal attractions and diverse neighborhoods. The immediate environment of the park is described by some residents as generally quiet, which can be an appealing factor for those seeking a more peaceful residential setting. Public reviews suggest that some mobile homes within the community are considered livable, indicating a mixed state of property upkeep. Historically, the community has seen periods of good maintenance, particularly when it was under "on property" ownership. However, more recent feedback indicates a decline in upkeep, with the park being described as needing significant work. The physical layout typical of a mobile home community would include individual lots for manufactured homes, internal roads, and possibly some shared open spaces. The presence of a pond is mentioned in historical reviews, suggesting a natural feature within the community. The overall aesthetic and condition of the park's environment appear to be an area of concern for some current residents, with hopes for improvement under the new management. The broader Virginia Beach area offers access to numerous amenities, including beaches, shopping, dining, and recreational opportunities, which would be accessible to residents of Daydream Mobile Home Community.
As a mobile home community, Daydream primarily provides serviced lots for manufactured homes. This typically involves the leasing of individual land parcels to residents who own their manufactured homes. The management of such a community is responsible for maintaining common areas, infrastructure (like roads and utilities up to the hook-up points), and enforcing community rules and regulations. Historical accounts suggest that when the community was well-managed, services included proper maintenance of the property and a focus on tenant satisfaction. However, more recent reviews indicate challenges in obtaining service work, with residents reporting difficulties in getting maintenance issues addressed despite the change in ownership. This suggests that while basic services inherent to a mobile home park are offered (e.g., lot rental), the responsiveness and quality of these services from management have been inconsistent. It's crucial for prospective residents to clarify what utilities are included in the lot rent and what are the responsibilities of the homeowner. Any potential resident should inquire directly about the current management's approach to maintenance requests and service delivery, especially given the feedback about past and present difficulties.
The primary feature of Daydream Mobile Home Community is its provision of spaces for manufactured homes, offering an alternative to traditional stick-built housing. Manufactured homes within the community would typically come with their own set of features, including multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, varying in size and layout depending on the specific model. The community itself, as a mobile home park, offers individual lots where these homes are situated. The quiet atmosphere is highlighted by some residents as a positive feature, contributing to a potentially peaceful living environment. Historically, the community featured a clean pond, which would have been a desirable amenity. However, there is no recent confirmation of the pond's current condition or if it remains a feature actively maintained for resident enjoyment. The community’s main draw appears to be the opportunity for long-term manufactured home living in Virginia Beach. There is no information available about specific recreational facilities or amenities such as clubhouses, pools, or playgrounds within the community. The "new management" mentioned in the community's informal name suggests a potential for future improvements and the introduction of new features or better maintenance of existing ones. However, as noted in recent reviews, residents have expressed disappointment that despite the new ownership, the anticipated improvements have not materialized significantly, particularly concerning service work.
For individuals searching on platforms categorized as "RV Parks Near Me," it is vital to understand that Daydream Mobile Home Community is fundamentally a residential mobile home park, not a transient RV park. Unlike typical RV parks that cater to short-term stays, travel trailers, and motorhomes, Daydream Mobile Home Community is designed for permanent or long-term residency in manufactured homes. Therefore, if your search on "RV Parks Near Me" is for a temporary camping spot, a quick stopover for an RV, or a recreational vehicle hook-up, this community is unlikely to meet those needs. Its "promotional" appeal, based on the information available, would be to individuals seeking affordable long-term housing solutions in Virginia Beach through manufactured home ownership or rental. The community could appeal to those looking for a quiet place to live, despite past and ongoing challenges with property maintenance and management responsiveness. Prospective residents interested in long-term mobile home living should contact the community directly to inquire about available lots, home sales or rentals, lot lease agreements, and to gain a clear understanding of the current management's policies and any planned improvements. Given the mixed reviews, particularly regarding service and property upkeep, it is highly recommended that potential residents visit the community in person, observe its current condition, and perhaps speak with existing residents to gain a comprehensive and realistic perspective before committing to residency. The "under new management" aspect suggests a period of transition, and while hope for improvements exists, objective reviews indicate that significant positive changes have yet to be consistently realized, making direct inquiry and on-site assessment crucial for anyone considering Daydream Mobile Home Community as a long-term residence.

Could be a great place to live. It's quiet and the few mobile homes that are livable have very nice tenants almost all tenants anyway. Needs work for sure.Update- new owners who are more involved who are talking about fixing it up. Will Update again when things start getting fixed hopefully soonHopefully this doesn't effect me but I'm going to say it anyway. Thought new owners were going to be better. Unfortunately same as last owner 😕 cleaned up a little but damn near impossible to get service work done. I had high hopes but for nothing
Oct 24, 2024 · Brandon LewisThis mobile community was a dump in 1973 until my parents bought it. They were "on property" owners, not just investment income investors. The property and mobile homes were very well kept up. The pond was clean, rents were reasonable and the tenants great. It's sad to see the owners don't care.
Mar 26, 2019 · Donna RobertsDoesnt look like the pictures when visiting in person. Gives a bad name to mobile home parks when looking the way it does. Looks like a run down mess. Sorry to have to say....but its the truth. Nice drive to get out there and then what a let down.
