Cedar Creek Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Salina, Kansas area, Cedar Creek, located at 745 Cedar Creek Dr, Salina, KS 67401, USA, is a mobile home park that might appear as a potential option for long-term RV living. However, recent customer reviews paint a stark and concerning picture of the living conditions and management practices at Cedar Creek, which prospective residents, including those with RVs considering renting a mobile home on-site, should be acutely aware of.
Multiple reviews from current and former residents express significant dissatisfaction and raise serious concerns about the safety, maintenance, and management of Cedar Creek. One current resident details hazardous conditions, stating they "can’t even walk on the sidewalk" due to disrepair and that this issue has been promised to be fixed for over a year. Tragically, this resident reports falling on the broken sidewalk and almost breaking their knee, underscoring the potential for injury due to neglected infrastructure. This lack of attention to basic safety is a critical concern for any potential resident, including those in RVs who may need to navigate the park's walkways.
Further অভিযোগ include a lack of respect for personal space, with "people drive through my yard between mine and my neighbors HOMES," and the management ("the office") doing nothing to address this issue. Additionally, residents are reportedly "aren’t allowed to put up a fence in your own yard," limiting their ability to define and secure their personal living space. This suggests restrictive and potentially unreasonable community rules that could impact the comfort and privacy of long-term residents, including those in RVs if they were to rent a lot with a mobile home.
A particularly egregious point raised in the reviews is the management's practice of consistently raising rent ("RAISE THE RENT EVERY YEAR") without any corresponding improvements to the property or facilities. One resident notes, "The office doesn’t do anything actually but RAISE THE RENT EVERY YEAR WITH NO IMPROVEMENTS." This indicates a potential disregard for the value provided to residents and suggests that the cost of living at Cedar Creek may not be justified by the actual conditions and services offered.
Promises of amenities also appear to go unfulfilled. Residents were reportedly "suppose to have a basketball court, last year," but it has not materialized. This broken promise further erodes trust in the management and suggests a pattern of neglecting the well-being and recreational needs of the community.
Another reviewer echoes the sentiment to avoid Cedar Creek, stating, "Too many other great places in town to rent from these days, ROOTS is not it." The use of "ROOTS" likely refers to the management company or the park itself, implying a strong recommendation to seek alternative housing options in Salina.
Further complaints detail the poor quality of housing within the park. One reviewer describes the "Housing is awful" and mentions a malfunctioning air conditioning unit that sounds "like a jet engine" and is located right off the living room, indicating significant noise pollution and discomfort within the homes. The difficulty in contacting the management is also highlighted: "You can NEVER get a hold of anyone at the office." This lack of communication and accessibility to management is a major concern for residents needing to report issues or seek assistance.
The inefficiency in addressing maintenance requests is another critical point. Residents report that even for items explicitly stated as the management's responsibility in the lease ("!!in your lease!! that THEY would fix"), repairs can take an unreasonably long time, with one reviewer stating, "expect it to be done in 3-5 months." This extreme delay in addressing maintenance issues can lead to further deterioration of living conditions and significant frustration for residents.
The overwhelming consensus from the recent reviews is a strong recommendation to avoid Cedar Creek. One reviewer implores, "Please save your money and look somewhere else," clearly indicating that the negative aspects of living in this community far outweigh any potential benefits.
Given the severely negative feedback concerning safety hazards, lack of maintenance, unresponsive management, unjustified rent increases, and broken promises of amenities, prospective RV residents considering Cedar Creek for long-term stays, particularly if they are considering renting a mobile home on-site, should exercise extreme caution. The reported conditions suggest a potentially unsafe, uncomfortable, and frustrating living experience.
To obtain any potential information about RV-specific accommodations or policies at Cedar Creek, it is still advisable to contact the management directly at (785) 823-5770 or +1 785-823-5770. However, given the overwhelmingly negative reviews regarding the management's responsiveness and the overall living conditions, it would be prudent to approach any information received with skepticism and to prioritize seeking alternative "RV parks near me" in the Salina area.
Due to the complete absence of any positive feedback or mention of amenities being well-maintained or beneficial, there is no basis for identifying any positive features or promotional aspects of Cedar Creek based on the provided reviews. The consistent message is one of dissatisfaction and a strong recommendation to avoid this community.
In conclusion, while Cedar Creek in Salina, KS, is a mobile home park and might technically offer long-term RV living options through renting a mobile home lot, recent customer reviews paint a dire picture of unsafe conditions, neglected maintenance, unresponsive management focused solely on rent increases, and broken promises of amenities. Individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in Salina should heed the strong warnings from current and former residents and prioritize exploring other, more reputable options to ensure a safe, comfortable, and positive long-term living experience.

Jul 29, 2024 · Remus LupineWe had a viewing scheduled for August 27 at 2 pm. We showed up about 10 minutes early and we brought our 11 month old with us to view the house. Mind you it was 100 degrees out. We waited outside for 20-25 minutes waiting for someone to show up. We tried to get ahold of them but couldn’t. No one tried to contact us either. And then about and hour after we were supposed to be there. Then they tried to get ahold of us and to reschedule.
