Chaparral Village Introduce
Chaparral Village is situated at 3180 E 88th Ave, Denver, CO 80229, USA. For individuals in search of "RV parks near me" or exploring mobile home communities in the Denver, Colorado region, Chaparral Village's address places it within a specific area of the city. To provide an objective introduction, we will consider the park's potential environment, services, and features based on its location and the available customer reviews, which offer contrasting perspectives.
Environment and Location:
The address of Chaparral Village on East 88th Avenue in Denver suggests a location that may offer a mix of urban and suburban characteristics. Denver provides a wide array of amenities, including cultural attractions, employment opportunities, shopping centers, and access to the Rocky Mountains. The specific environment immediately surrounding Chaparral Village is described differently in the provided reviews. One review notes a decline in the general area and describes the community itself as "extremely run down" with issues such as tall weeds, unkempt grounds, overflowing trash, and graffiti. This paints a picture of a community facing challenges with its upkeep and potentially attracting "unsavoury guests," including homeless individuals reportedly sleeping near the office due to a perceived lack of management presence.
However, another reviewer offers a more positive perspective on the maintenance efforts of an individual named Charles, who is credited with doing an "awesome job improving the grounds around the clubhouse." This suggests that while there may be broader issues with the community's overall maintenance, specific efforts are being made in certain areas. The contrast between these views highlights the complexity of assessing the environment without further comprehensive information.
For those searching for "RV parks near me," the Denver location of Chaparral Village could be advantageous in terms of access to the city's amenities and transportation links. However, the reported state of the grounds and the overall environment may be a significant consideration.
Services and Amenities:
Specific details regarding the services and amenities offered at Chaparral Village are not fully outlined in the provided reviews. Typically, mobile home and RV parks offer essential utilities such as water, electricity, and sewer hookups. Waste management services are also usually provided. The negative review mentions a significant service disruption, specifically the shutting off of water on a hot day without notice and the removal of fire hydrants for several days during installation, raising serious concerns about the reliability and communication regarding essential services.
The reference to a clubhouse suggests the presence of a communal facility, although the negative review mentions maintenance being done on its lawn, which might indicate a less formal or well-maintained amenity. Without a comprehensive list of services, potential residents and RVers should inquire directly about the availability and quality of essential services, laundry facilities, recreational areas, and on-site management.
Features and Community Living:
The reviews offer conflicting views on the features and community living experience at Chaparral Village. The negative review describes a lack of pride of ownership, poor management communication (citing the water shut-off incident), and a general sense of uncleanliness that detracts from the living environment. The mention of homeless individuals feeling comfortable on the property and the alleged lack of management presence are also concerning aspects related to the community's safety and security.
On the other hand, the positive comment about the maintenance person's efforts to improve the clubhouse grounds suggests that there may be some positive aspects or individuals contributing to the community. The reviewer also points out that if more tenants took responsibility for cleaning up their own properties, the park could be a better place to live. This implies that the overall appearance and quality of life within Chaparral Village might be influenced by both the management and the residents themselves.
For those considering Chaparral Village as one of the "RV parks near me" for a longer-term stay, the sense of community and the responsiveness of management are crucial factors. The negative review raises red flags in these areas, particularly regarding communication and the handling of essential services and safety concerns.
Promotional Information:
The provided text does not contain any explicit promotional information for Chaparral Village. The negative review serves as a strong caution against the park, while the positive comment focuses on the efforts of a specific maintenance worker rather than promoting the community as a whole. Therefore, based solely on this information, there are no positive promotional aspects to highlight. Potential residents and RVers would need to seek additional, potentially official, information to understand any promotional offers or the management's vision for the community.
Objective Considerations:
The available customer reviews present a starkly contrasting view of Chaparral Village. The detailed negative review raises significant concerns about the park's maintenance, management, communication, and overall living environment. While one positive comment acknowledges the efforts of a maintenance worker, it also highlights potential issues with tenant upkeep. It is essential to consider these points objectively:
- Maintenance Issues: The allegations of unkempt grounds, overflowing trash, and graffiti suggest potential neglect in the overall maintenance of the community.
- Management Concerns: The negative review's claims of management absence, poor communication, and lack of pride of ownership are serious considerations. The incident involving the water shut-off and fire hydrant removal without notice indicates potential mismanagement of essential services and safety.
- Safety and Security: The reported presence of homeless individuals and the lack of management oversight could raise concerns about the safety and security of residents and their property.
- Community Pride: The contrasting views on the upkeep of individual lots versus communal areas suggest a potential lack of consistent standards or enforcement within the community.
For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" or considering mobile home living in Denver, it is crucial to weigh these concerns carefully. Visiting Chaparral Village in person, if possible, and attempting to speak with current residents could provide a more balanced perspective. Additionally, exploring other RV parks and mobile home communities in the Denver area would allow for a comparison of environments, services, and management practices.
In conclusion, the available information on Chaparral Village presents a mixed picture, with significant concerns raised in one detailed customer review regarding the park's maintenance, management, and overall living conditions. While there is a positive note about individual maintenance efforts, the serious allegations warrant thorough investigation and careful consideration by anyone considering this community as a potential residence or RV stay location. It is recommended to seek additional information and perspectives before making a decision.

Chaparral Village Reviews
The community is extremely run down and it’s embarrassing to live there. The weeds along the exterior fence on the main road are three feet tall, grounds in general are unkempt and there is typically trash overflowing the mailbox area. Graffiti that doesn’t get properly removed. Homeless people feel comfortable sleeping in front of the office because management is never there and the overall uncleanliness of the community attracts unsavoury guests. Maintenance does car repairs on the clubhouse lawn. I get the area in general has gone down hill in the past few years, but come on! To have zero pride of ownership in the community you run? The lack of people skills? Shutting off water on a hundred degree day with zero notice? Digging up and leaving the community without fire hydrants for several days while new ones are being installed, because I guess who cares if a home catches fire and the fire department has no way to put it out. I could keep going, but I think you get the picture. If you want to live somewhere clean and well maintained with pride of ownership showing, and communicative management, this isn’t the place for you.
Oct 05, 2022 · Mindy LoveCharles, our maintenance person, has done an awesome job improving the grounds around the clubhouse. I often see him taking care of the lawns, bushes, etc. Now if we could just get more tenants to clean up their homes and yards, this would an awesome park to live in.
Jan 29, 2025 · Rhonda EllisThe neighbors and employees were so sweet and understanding helping me with a lost dog. Happy ending, found. Thank you everyone!

You could do the right thing and ask me..Did anyone know ever think to ask me... I have no clue as to why they are chasing and following me everywhere I go. Even wh n I go home, and I live miles away from here l, they follow me at home to. My wife is very sick with cancer, My mom is not doing to well her self, I lost a my sister and oldest brother within 2yrs if each other. am about to lose my house.Stop this nonsense for the love of God !!I don't need no more pain !!I will not back down, you've got the wrong man or the wrong story, A story told by spineless Coward himself.God Bless my friends !! Dec 18, 2024 · Tommy YoungNot even worth a star. They shut water off without notice. They monitor when you have to use the bathroom, they call it sewage meter. Tell you can't have this or that but others have the same thing but you get the notification of it not being allowed in the park. The is no park manager at the clubhouse. Ever. If you call and complain, which ever manager picks up the phone, just laughs at you. Too many potholes.
