Country Roads Introduce
Welcome to Country Roads, a mobile home park located at 6539 Townsend Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32244, USA. For local users searching for "RV parks near me" or considering mobile home living in a Jacksonville community, Country Roads presents itself as a potential option. This introduction aims to provide a balanced overview of the park based on available information, including its environment, potential services, features, and insights gleaned from customer reviews.
Situated in Jacksonville, Florida, Country Roads benefits from its location within a major city, offering residents access to a wide array of urban conveniences and attractions. Jacksonville boasts a diverse economy, numerous shopping and dining options, cultural venues, and natural beauty, including beaches and parks. The specific neighborhood surrounding Country Roads on Townsend Road will determine the immediate proximity to these amenities, and prospective residents are encouraged to explore the local area to assess its suitability for their lifestyle.
Based on the limited information available, it's challenging to provide a comprehensive description of the park's physical environment. Typically, mobile home parks offer individual lots for mobile homes, and some may also accommodate RVs. The layout often includes roadways for access, and the overall ambiance can vary depending on the management's upkeep and the residents' pride in their spaces. One positive review mentions a "safe clean environment," suggesting that at least some areas of the park are well-maintained. However, another review paints a contrasting picture, describing a unit that was not adequately cleaned before move-in, indicating potential inconsistencies in property management standards.
The services typically offered at mobile home parks can include:
- Utility hookups for each lot (water, sewer, electricity). Residents are usually responsible for their individual utility consumption.
- Road maintenance within the park.
- Potentially, trash and recycling services.
- Common area maintenance, which may include landscaping or upkeep of any shared facilities.
- On-site management to handle park operations and resident issues. The positive review specifically praises the staff members Alberto and Lucy for their professionalism and availability. In contrast, the negative review expresses significant dissatisfaction with the overall management's responsiveness and attention to resident concerns after move-in.
For individuals searching within the "RV parks near me" category, Country Roads' suitability will depend on whether they offer designated RV spaces and the amenities provided for RVs. These might include electrical hookups (various amperages), water and sewer connections, and potentially common areas like laundry facilities or showers. Interested RV owners should directly contact the park to inquire about availability, rates, size restrictions, and specific RV amenities.
In terms of features, the contrasting customer reviews offer different perspectives. The positive review highlights "amazing" and "professional" staff (Alberto and Lucy) who are available and strive to provide excellent service and a safe, clean environment. This suggests that some aspects of the park's management and maintenance are commendable. The reviewer also notes that the staff shows respect to tenants.
However, the negative review raises significant concerns about the management's responsiveness and the condition of at least one of the rental units upon move-in. The reviewer describes moving into a trailer with a large number of dead bugs, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning. They also mention numerous issues with the trailer that were in plain sight and a lack of effort to rectify them before occupancy. Furthermore, they report months of unresponsiveness regarding a broken refrigerator seal, leading to food spoilage and personal expense in attempting self-repair. This feedback suggests potential issues with the quality of rental units and the efficiency of the maintenance services provided by the management.
Currently, no specific promotional information for Country Roads is available in the provided data. To inquire about any special offers, current lot rental rates for mobile homes or RV spaces, or the availability of mobile homes for rent or sale within the park, it is essential to contact the park directly at (904) 772-7072 or +1 904-772-7072. Speaking with the management will provide the most accurate and up-to-date details.
For local users seeking "RV parks near me" or considering residing in a mobile home community in Jacksonville, Country Roads presents a mixed picture based on the limited reviews. While some residents have experienced positive interactions with specific staff members and appreciate a clean environment, others have reported significant issues with management responsiveness and the condition of rental units. Potential residents are strongly advised to conduct thorough due diligence, including visiting the park if possible, inquiring about current conditions and policies, and seeking additional reviews or testimonials to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the living experience at Country Roads. It is crucial to weigh the positive feedback regarding the staff against the serious concerns raised about management responsiveness and property conditions to make an informed decision.
Before making any commitment, prospective residents should ask detailed questions about the move-in process, maintenance procedures, community rules, and the responsibilities of both the park management and the residents. Understanding the current state of the park and the management's approach to addressing resident concerns will be vital in determining if Country Roads aligns with individual needs and expectations for mobile home or RV living in Jacksonville.

Apr 02, 2025 · William Sizemoremanagement is horrible . they work hard to get you in but once your in they don't care . let us move in with bugs all over the floor. doesn't matter if it's because of a previous extermination . why would you let somebody move in somewhere with literally over 50+ dead bugs everywhere . that's so disgusting . could count a millionthings wrong with the trailer . they barely made an effort to clean from previous owners . if you move somebody in you should probably make sure everything is in the right condition . it wasnt things that were hidden away , everything that needed to be fixed was literally in plain sight . been waiting months for somebody to fix our fridge seal . have spent over $50 on fridge seals trying to fix the problem ourselves cause management is completely unresponsive . lost lots of food that could have been ate but went bad due to fridge being broken . seriously do better . i would say you get what you pay for but over 1k a month to live in a trashed house with bad management is insane .
Jan 08, 2025 · samantha mejiaThe manager has been working hard to make necessary changes! She is active on the grounds and can actually be found in the office working. The groundskeepers are doing a good job and the place is looking nice. It’s a nice improvement and I expect it will continue.
Oct 17, 2024 · Caressa ShepherdMy sister's home is flooding for the 4th time as I type this mostly over the span of this past weekend and Thanksgiving is this Thursday. Friday Nov 22nd 2024 she came home to a flooded home for the second time in 2 months with so much constant running water coming from everywhere! The home has flooded every single day since Friday... Today is Nov 25th and we haven't heard back from anyone, the office is CLOSED and no one answers the office phone or emergency line!!! All of her belongings are ruined she can't host diner for her family and as a matter of fact her and my neice have been here with me for days!!! We've called the office hundreds of times as well as the emergency maintenance number with no response or return call from all of the messages we've left. There's water coming out of her walls toilets sink and bathtub and her rent increased over 200 dollars because water is bundled with the rent! I can only imagine what her rent will look like next month! Don't come here there's no JEA to call and send out a tech to make repairs then retract those charges off your bill and save the day! Maintenance does not exist here!!!!! You're just forced to ruin every towel rug and blanket you own while you wait for the mold to grow... She's been here for only 2 months and I'm so devastated for my little sister!!! We're going downtown to the courthouse tomorrow she will not pay Country Roads another dime! We'll make her rent payments at the courthouse until they're forced to send someone by the courts!!! Either the water and power are off for hours on end (which happened 2 weeks ago while I was visiting her) or it's flooding this place is absolutely deplorable!!! If you want to live in fear of losing practically everything you own in only 2 months then move here... Imagine losing your only possessions and your just starting out with a young child... Don't walk away, RUN!!! What a way to wish a new resident also very young and new family a Happy Thanksgiving!!!
