Greenwood Estates Manufactured Home Community Introduce
If you're searching for "RV parks near me" with a potential interest in long-term residential options or exploring manufactured home communities in the Greenwood, Indiana area, Greenwood Estates Manufactured Home Community, located at 1598 South US 31 S, Greenwood, IN 46143, USA, presents a mixed perspective based on available reviews. You can contact them at (317) 881-4113 or +1 317-881-4113 for inquiries. It's important to consider both the positive and negative feedback to form a comprehensive understanding of this community.
One reviewer offered a generally positive initial impression, stating, "Although there are some trailers that kind of take away from the more home like trailers, this place is really nice, not like the ghetto type you normally think of when you hear trailer court, and the ladies in the office are top notch, professional but very friendly, like you've been best buds with them forever... their great." This feedback highlights the friendly and professional demeanor of the office staff, which is a significant positive aspect for residents. The reviewer also noted that the community is "really nice," distinguishing it from potentially negative stereotypes associated with mobile home parks. They further mentioned that "pictures are some of the nicer ones, and they sell them fairly cheap, amazing way to have a starter home," suggesting that Greenwood Estates could be an affordable entry point into homeownership.
However, this positive sentiment was tempered by the observation that "there are some trailers that look...pretty bad... not many, but some," which indicates a degree of visual inconsistency within the community. Despite this, the reviewer's overall experience with the office staff was overwhelmingly positive, leading them to want to give a 5-star rating were it not for the aesthetic concerns. This suggests that while there might be some visual aspects that could be improved, the human element, particularly the office management, is a strong point of Greenwood Estates.
In contrast, another reviewer expressed significant dissatisfaction, stating, "Deeply regret moving here. Office acts like it’s a damn gated community or something and don’t have any care or interest to help with questions or issues. All their job seems to be is sign leases on half assed flipped homes and write citations for the dumbest things. At the end of the day It’s just a mobile home park that has Greenwood Police flying in and out 2-3 times a week, with an office that will frustrate you more than be helpful. Wouldn’t be surprised if I end up being “targeted” with citations for the bad review too."
This critical review paints a starkly different picture. It alleges that the office staff is unhelpful and more focused on enforcement ("write citations for the dumbest things") than on resident support. The reviewer also raises a serious concern regarding security, claiming that "Greenwood Police flying in and out 2-3 times a week," which, if accurate, would be a significant issue for the peace and safety of the community. The accusation of "half assed flipped homes" suggests potential issues with the quality of some of the properties available. This reviewer's overall experience was negative, leading to regret about moving into the community and a fear of potential retaliation for the negative feedback.
Considering the platform category "RV parks near me," the information available for Greenwood Estates Manufactured Home Community does not specifically address amenities or services tailored for RVs. The focus of the reviews is primarily on the experience of living in manufactured homes within the community. Therefore, it is difficult to ascertain if Greenwood Estates would be suitable for RV owners seeking temporary or long-term stays. The mention of "starter homes" and the sale of manufactured homes suggests a focus on permanent or semi-permanent residency rather than typical RV park services.
To determine if Greenwood Estates Manufactured Home Community accommodates RVs or offers any related services, it would be necessary to contact them directly. Inquiring about lot sizes, hookup availability (if any), and the community's policies regarding RVs would provide clarity for those searching within the "RV parks near me" category. Given the contrasting reviews regarding the office staff's helpfulness and the security of the community, it would also be prudent to ask specific questions about these aspects to form your own informed opinion.
In conclusion, Greenwood Estates Manufactured Home Community presents a mixed picture. On one hand, it is described as "really nice" for a mobile home park, with friendly and professional office staff, and offers potentially affordable starter homes. On the other hand, concerns have been raised about the visual appearance of some homes, the helpfulness of the office in addressing resident issues, and significant security concerns involving frequent police presence. For individuals specifically looking for "RV parks near me," further inquiry would be needed to determine if Greenwood Estates offers any relevant services or accommodations. Potential residents should weigh the positive feedback about affordability and office staff against the negative comments regarding management responsiveness and community safety before making a decision. Contacting Greenwood Estates directly at (317) 881-4113 is recommended to gather more detailed and current information.

Nov 08, 2024 · John WilhelmLana is amazing! She has been soo quick in the process of getting my new home pushing for things to move at my pace! Shes soo down to earth, kind and helpful. This has been such a joy having a great lady like her to assist me in this process! I absolutely love my new home, and my neighbors are soo friendly and great. Do not go off of negative reviews. Give this place a try. I am happy!
Nov 01, 2024 · Karen LoweI own my trailer. In the past 3 years I've had flooding come through my sewage and I've Notify them each time .this last spring when it rained we had a flood of sewage into our home . They first tried to say it was our property and we had to pay for it to be fix then when I pulled the Lease out and told them that anything ground and below is their problem. They pulled a pipe out of the ground, sewage went all over the lot , then the man said, ya we will have to send someone out. We had to pay for the sewage clean up, they told us that they are not responsible for the flood cleaning and we should call our Insurance company and volley claim. Witch that will cost us, not them for the damage there properly caused. I asked for the owners information and they refused. I can go on , like them telling our Neighbors we complain about there kids throwing rocks at houses. ( mine .) And lastly . The 1# reason you should not rent or buy from here is they raise the lot rent each year and there is no cap to it. I pay 1000 a month for this lot and can't even protect my property. This place is a money pit . You will not be happy here at all and it will drain your bank account fast. The Maintenance team is Inexperienced and to dumb to do there jobs. They pick up trash driving around the court all day. They don't fix anything properly. In buying this place I've found 3 outlets crossed wired with no ground. The gas stove was leaking because they put water thread tape around it . The Electrical box was messed up and had to have someone fix it . And when we told them about it . They said, it's as is so that is now your problem. I've lived in Indianapolis all my life and I've Delt with people like this seeing I've worked for a few as a Maintenance man myself. They will lie to get u here and any problem you have they will blame you and tie your hands so you can't fit it . Like when they towed my car I had just bought from someone . I had it just over the weekend. I bought it Thursday night, had plans to go camping that weekend with the family, ( raining in Greenwood) came home on Sunday at about 6ish and they towed my car from my driveway because it had a flat tire. Because I didn't switch the title and the guy u bought the car from is locked up . I couldn't do anything about it . Lost 3,000 bucks / car . Was told that the tow co didn't have the Permission to tow my car ..... a lot of bad things happen here in a short time I've lived here . Drugs, violence, not a safe place.
Oct 07, 2024 · Raynard ShankNice park. You have to keep it clean, which we like. Paved streets, street lights, pool, clubhouse and workout room. Rent is a little high, but then again everything is nowadays.
