Karmella Mobile Home & RV Community provides a setting where neighbors often become friends, fostering a close-knit atmosphere. According to one resident's review, the previous manager, Barb, was highly regarded for her care for the tenants and her efforts in organizing community events such as bingo and karaoke. This suggests a vibrant social environment where residents have opportunities to connect and engage with one another. The reviewer also highlighted the sense of community, where residents look out for each other, which can be a significant benefit for those seeking a supportive and friendly living environment.
For individuals in the 55+ age range who are exploring affordable housing options within a strong community, Karmella Mobile Home & RV Community may present an attractive opportunity. The emphasis on community events and mutual support can contribute to a higher quality of life, offering more than just a place to park your RV or reside in a mobile home.
However, it is important to consider all available information when making a decision about a potential living situation. Some recent reviews present a different perspective regarding the current management. Several reviews express serious concerns about the current manager, Mike. One former resident who lived there for nine years described being abruptly evicted and forced to close their business over what they perceived as "nonsense." This individual also alleges witnessing numerous evictions in the past two years and raised concerns about the manager's conduct and its potential impact on residents' well-being.
Further reviews echo these concerns, with one individual stating they have "seen him evict way too many people in the last 2 years" and expressing a belief that the manager "enjoys terrorizing tenants." This reviewer also mentioned a neighbor allegedly developing PTSD due to harassment. Another concerning claim involves the alleged eviction of two individuals while they were hospitalized, despite family members taking care of their homes and pets.
These negative reviews also mention the owners, Russell Downing, Noah Downing, and Aaron Downing, who reportedly reside in the Santa Cruz Mountains, and Valley Vistas Management company, who they believe enable the current management. These allegations paint a concerning picture of the current living environment for some residents.
When considering Karmella Mobile Home & RV Community as one of the potential RV parks near me, it is crucial to weigh the positive aspects of community and organized events, as highlighted in the older review, against the serious allegations made in the more recent feedback regarding the current management practices. Potential residents are strongly advised to conduct thorough due diligence, which may include visiting the park, speaking with current residents (if possible), and seeking clarification on the management situation before making any commitments.
While the community may have once offered a positive and supportive environment for its 55+ residents, the recent reviews raise significant red flags regarding the current management and its impact on the tenants. It is essential for prospective residents to be aware of these concerns and to assess whether this community aligns with their needs and expectations for a safe and respectful living environment.
As you search for RV parks near me or explore mobile home communities in Mesa, AZ, remember that online reviews can offer valuable insights, but it is always best to gather information from multiple sources to form a comprehensive understanding. Karmella Mobile Home & RV Community presents a mixed picture, with past positive experiences contrasted by serious allegations regarding current management practices. We encourage potential residents to proceed with caution and to seek further information to make an informed decision.
For those seeking a 55+ community that emphasizes affordability and a close-knit atmosphere, the initial description of Karmella Mobile Home & RV Community might be appealing. The mention of organized events and neighbors looking out for each other suggests a social and supportive environment. However, the more recent and concerning reviews regarding the current manager cannot be ignored. These allegations of unfair evictions and harassment paint a potentially troubling picture of the current living conditions.
Therefore, while Karmella Mobile Home & RV Community may have once been a "great little community" for the 55+ age group, as one review suggests, potential residents must carefully consider the more recent feedback. The discrepancy between the positive early review and the negative recent reviews highlights the importance of seeking the most up-to-date information when choosing a place to live. It is recommended to investigate the current management situation further and, if possible, speak directly with current residents to gain a balanced perspective before making a decision about residing at Karmella Mobile Home & RV Community.
In conclusion, Karmella Mobile Home & RV Community, located in Mesa, AZ, has been described as a 55+ community with a close-knit atmosphere and organized events. However, recent reviews contain serious allegations regarding the current management, including claims of unfair evictions and harassment. Prospective residents should carefully weigh this information and conduct thorough due diligence before considering this as one of their options for RV parks near me or affordable housing in the area.

Sep 11, 2018 · Melissa PhillipsI lived there 9 years. The new manager Mike forced me to abruptly close my business and evicted me over nonsense.I've seem him evict way too many people in the last 2 years. I believe he has a GOD complex and enjoys terrorizing tenants. I believe that my next door neighbor developed PTSD from his harassment. He's evicted 2 people while they were in the hospital and had family taking care of their home and/or pets. The owners Russell Downing, Noah Downing, and Aaron Downing who all live in the Santa Cruz Mountains don't care and have hired Valley Vistas Management company to enable this creep.Pass by this place and find a place with decent morals.
Jun 16, 2021 · Charley YeggMain office staff is money grubbing, self serving, unworkable corporate yes men/women. Out for themselves, goal is to force tenants to leave their homes at park without allowing tenant to sell for true value. Repeatedly refuse possible buyers to be approved for residency until owners must simply leave, signing titles over to park for pennies, allowing park to sell for huge profits...huge scam.Management on site are wonderful, which is why I have any stars at all.
