Kersey Mobile Home Park Introduce
When searching for "RV parks near me" in the Kersey, Colorado area, it's important to investigate various residential communities that might accommodate recreational vehicles. Kersey Mobile Home Park, located at 800 S 1st St office, Kersey, CO 80644, USA, is primarily a mobile home park that may have spaces suitable for RV and camping trailer living. To ascertain whether Kersey Mobile Home Park aligns with your RV living needs, direct communication with their management at (970) 900-9174 or +1 970-900-9174 is essential.
The available online reviews for Kersey Mobile Home Park present a mixed perspective with some concerning feedback regarding the management and community environment. One reviewer expressed strong negative sentiments about the "Owner and management," describing them as "so vindictive." This individual felt the need to use an anonymous email to avoid potential repercussions for their post, suggesting a climate of fear or intimidation within the park. Such a comment should be taken seriously by prospective residents, including those with RVs, as it could indicate potential issues with management-resident relations.
Another reviewer, who had recently moved into the park, offered a more nuanced initial impression. They noted that the "place seems safe for kids," which could be a positive factor for families considering long-term RV living. However, this positive aspect was counterbalanced by significant concerns. The reviewer highlighted the "soo many stray cats roaming around," describing it as "ridiculous." A large stray cat population can be problematic for various reasons, including hygiene, noise, and potential conflicts with pets. This is an environmental factor that prospective residents with pets or concerns about cleanliness should consider.
Furthermore, this reviewer mentioned that "the lot rent is constantly raised yet nothing is being done to improve the place." This is a common concern in rental communities and suggests a potential disconnect between the cost of living and the reinvestment in the park's infrastructure and amenities. For RV owners considering long-term stays, the stability and value proposition of the lot rent are important factors.
The same reviewer also alleged that "the managemwnt picks and chooses who abides by the rules and who can get away with anything." Selective enforcement of rules can lead to an unfair and inconsistent living environment, potentially causing friction among residents. This is a serious concern that could impact the quality of life for RV residents as well.
On a more positive note, the reviewer mentioned that "Neighbors are quiet though," which could be appealing to those who value peace and tranquility in their living environment.
Given these mixed but concerning reviews, it is crucial for anyone considering Kersey Mobile Home Park as an option for "RV parks near me" to conduct thorough due diligence. This should include a direct and detailed conversation with the management to address the issues raised in the reviews and to understand their current policies and practices regarding RVs and the overall community environment.
When you contact Kersey Mobile Home Park, be sure to ask specific questions relevant to RV living, such as:
- RV Space Availability: Inquire whether Kersey Mobile Home Park currently has any spaces designated or suitable for RVs, and what the availability looks like for both short-term and long-term stays.
- RV Size Restrictions: Determine if there are any restrictions on the size or type of RVs they can accommodate.
- Utility Hookups: Ask about the availability and type of utility hookups for RV spaces, including electrical (amperage), water, and sewer connections.
- Waste Disposal: Understand the procedures for disposing of solid and liquid waste from RVs.
- Amenities for RV Residents: Inquire about any amenities that might be available to RV residents, such as laundry facilities, restrooms, showers, or common areas. As it is primarily a mobile home park, the availability of these amenities for RVers may vary.
- Park Rules and Enforcement for RVs: Specifically ask about the park rules and regulations that would apply to RV residents and how consistently these rules are enforced, especially in light of the concerns raised in the reviews about selective enforcement.
- Pet Policy: If you have pets, inquire about the park's pet policy, particularly regarding the stray cat situation mentioned in one review. Ask if there are any rules or restrictions related to pets and how the park addresses stray animal populations.
- Rental Rates and Lease Terms for RVs: Obtain detailed information about the rental rates for RV spaces, including any included utilities and the terms of any lease agreements. Inquire about the history of rent increases and any planned future increases.
- Management Policies and Resident Relations: Given the serious allegation of vindictive management, try to assess the management's approach to resident relations during your initial contact. Ask about procedures for addressing resident concerns and enforcing park rules fairly.
- Safety and Security: Inquire about the safety and security measures in place within the community.
- Maintenance and Upkeep: Ask about the maintenance of the park grounds and facilities.
The feedback regarding potentially vindictive management and inconsistent rule enforcement is particularly concerning and warrants careful consideration. Prospective RV residents should attempt to ascertain the current management's approach and policies to ensure a fair and respectful living environment. The issue of a large stray cat population is also a significant environmental factor to investigate, especially for pet owners or those concerned about hygiene.
In conclusion, Kersey Mobile Home Park in Kersey, Colorado, presents a mixed picture based on the limited online reviews. While the park may offer a safe environment for children and a quiet neighborhood, there are significant concerns regarding the management's behavior, inconsistent rule enforcement, frequent rent increases without apparent improvements, and a substantial stray cat population. For individuals searching for "RV parks near me," it is essential to contact Kersey Mobile Home Park directly at (970) 900-9174 or +1 970-900-9174 to ask detailed questions about their RV accommodations, policies, and the overall living environment, while also carefully considering the serious allegations and concerns raised in the available feedback. Thorough due diligence is strongly recommended before making any decisions about residing in this community.

Owner and management are so vindictive. Had to use an email without an actual name just so they don't target anyone for this post if they see it

Feb 04, 2018 · Adalynn VargasI've put in an application, went through the $40.00 background check and paid $30.00 for a credit check. It's been a month now and upon repeated calls to inquire on a status or a decision, i have only received excuses and absolutely no helpful response about a living arrangement at this mobile home park. Wth?
Apr 12, 2019 · AmyThis place is a dive... Never seen so many mobile homes parked so damn closely. You can visit your neighbors, without ever even leaving your living room... just open a window & start chatting!
Sep 16, 2019 · Richard MarkBeen here for 5.5 years, things were OK until the managers did some dirty deeds. Love everything else, like the neighbors and a safe place for kids to play.
