Lazy U Mobile Home Park Introduce
Lazy U Mobile Home Park, situated at 4100 NW 66th St, Medford, MN 55049, USA, is a mobile home park that falls under the general category of "RV Parks Near Me." However, it is important to clarify that this park primarily serves as a long-term residential community for manufactured homes, rather than a transient stop for recreational vehicles. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the park based on available information, acknowledging both positive and negative resident experiences. For inquiries, Lazy U Mobile Home Park can be reached at (507) 451-6095 or via mobile at +1 507-451-6095.
Lazy U Mobile Home Park is located in Medford, Minnesota, a small community that offers a more rural or semi-rural living environment compared to larger urban centers. As a mobile home park, its environment is characterized by the arrangement of manufactured homes on individual lots, typically with some green space surrounding each home. While there isn't specific information detailing the park's landscaping, common areas, or proximity to natural features like lakes or parks, the overall setting would be consistent with a residential mobile home community. The atmosphere within such parks can vary greatly depending on factors like property maintenance, resident demographics, and management style. Given the mixed reviews, it is reasonable to infer that the perceived environment can differ significantly among residents. The presence of individual homes suggests a neighborhood-like feel, where residents live in close proximity. The wider Medford area provides access to typical small-town amenities and the broader rural landscape of Minnesota, offering a quieter lifestyle away from the hustle and bustle of bigger cities. The specific character of the park's internal environment would largely be shaped by the interaction between residents and the operational practices of the management.
As a mobile home park, Lazy U Mobile Home Park primarily provides leased lots for manufactured homes. This means residents typically own their homes but pay a monthly lot rent for the land. While specific details on included utilities (e.g., water, sewer, trash) are not available, mobile home parks generally provide connections for these essential services to each lot. The key service offered is the provision of a stable location for residents to place their manufactured homes. However, the available customer reviews present a stark contrast regarding management interactions, which directly impacts the perception of "services." One review describes a highly negative experience involving alleged sexual advances by the owner, followed by a drastic increase in lot rent and an attempt at eviction, despite rent having been paid. This account suggests a serious issue with management conduct and fairness in pricing. In contrast, another review provides a positive account, where the owners offered a "big favor" by helping push snow, demonstrating a helpful and kind gesture. This divergence in experiences highlights that while basic lot services are provided, the quality of management and its impact on residents' lives can be highly inconsistent. Potential residents should be aware that the actual experience of amenities and services might be heavily influenced by individual interactions with the park management. There is no information to suggest the presence of common recreational facilities, laundry rooms, or clubhouses; the focus appears to be on providing basic residential lots.
One inherent feature of mobile home parks like Lazy U is the potential for more affordable housing compared to traditional stick-built homes, as residents typically own the structure but lease the land. This can make homeownership more accessible for many individuals and families. However, the economic stability of this model is heavily dependent on the lot rent structure and its potential for increases. A significant feature, as revealed by the reviews, is the dynamic between residents and park ownership/management. The extremely negative review, alleging a substantial, retaliatory rent increase and an attempt at eviction, underscores critical concerns regarding tenant rights, fair practices, and potential for conflict. This situation, involving legal action and uncashed rent checks, highlights a potentially challenging environment for residents. Conversely, the positive review showcasing helpfulness with snow removal indicates that individual interactions with management can also be supportive and beneficial. This contrast in experiences is a defining characteristic of this park, suggesting that the quality of living can be highly variable and deeply tied to the relationship with management. For prospective residents, understanding the full scope of tenant rights in Minnesota and the specific lease terms is paramount. The park's legal and ethical conduct, as suggested by the negative review, becomes a crucial feature that defines the resident experience more than any physical amenities.
For Lazy U Mobile Home Park, promotional information would ideally focus on its role as a provider of long-term manufactured home lots in Medford, MN, appealing to individuals seeking affordable housing solutions. However, given the nature of the reviews, a balanced and objective introduction must address the reported issues. In the context of "RV Parks Near Me," Lazy U provides a different offering—a permanent residential base for manufactured homes.Key considerations for prospective residents and potential promotional points might include:
- Affordable Housing Opportunity: As a mobile home park, it inherently offers a potentially more budget-friendly path to homeownership or long-term rental compared to traditional housing.
- Community in Medford: Highlighting its location in Medford, MN, offering a quieter, small-town lifestyle.
- Varied Management Experiences: It is crucial for prospective residents to understand that experiences with park management can differ. While one resident praised helpfulness, another reported severe issues including alleged retaliation and legal disputes over rent. This necessitates thorough due diligence.
- Tenant Rights: For any park with such mixed reviews, awareness of tenant rights for manufactured home residents in Minnesota is essential. Prospective residents should review lease agreements very carefully and understand avenues for recourse if disputes arise.

Lazy U Mobile Home Park Reviews
The owner made sexual advances at my wife. When he was denyed he called her and told her the lot rent went up to 975 a month. Well she recorded him. He took us to court claiming we didnt pay rent. The judge asked if they have our rent check they said yes. They just refused to cash it. And wanted us evicted. Its a terrible place
Jul 20, 2019 · Douglas SmithThis will 5 stars. The owners did me a big favor by helping me push the snow back since I hurt my back and couldn't shovel. Thank you.
Feb 16, 2019 · Windy RadkeThey charged me tons of money for extra things for years. The owner will just bang on your door any time of night and tell you you didn't pay rent and it doesn't matter if you have the receipt
