Mission RV Park Reviews
Traveling across the continental US while cycling I have the pleasure of seeing many places and through it all I've camped in both free/pay camping sites including RV parks. Before coming here I called ahead as I usually do to see if they allowed tent camping. I'm thinking that I am the first tent camp for them. The owners are awesome, they said I could but let me know that they were set up for RV for now, but if I wanted we could tent camp here. Now for all of you cycling as I am, it's $10 a night just to tent camp, and $15 a night to tent camp with the use of electric & WI-FI. Commonly charged at most RV parks for tent users. At the moment they do not have a restroom/showers available but they are planning on having one. There is a grocery store about two blocks away on the same street and a convenience/gas station a block away in the opposite direction. across the street is a dinner that serves both breakfast and lunch only. The meals are worth the visit as far as quantity and quality. The RV site is very clean, quiet, and lit up but not too bright. I met the owner and he's an awesome lay-back guy. My photos do not give the RV site it's justice. I had planned on staying one night but ended up staying two nights. Now I was informed that the RV prices are $35 for 30 amps per night and $40 for 50 amps per night and if you do weekly the prices are lower for those looking to stay longer than a night or two. We've stayed at many RV campgrounds and even with no restroom/shower I place this campground up in the top 5% that we've stayed at. Highly recommend this if you are in the area for people with RV's and/or tent camping. If you're using the Adventure Cycling app look for our review and directions we took to get here. Water, Electric, WI-FI, and Cement flat ground for RV's. The WI-FI connection is great, while at breakfast I was still connected across the street!Thank you Mission RV Park for allowing us to tent camp at your facility. If we do come through again we will camp here again.
