Pleasant Valley RV Park Introduce
If you're searching for "RV parks near me" in the Tillamook, Oregon area, Pleasant Valley RV Park, located at 11880 U.S. 101 S, Tillamook, OR 97141, USA, is one option to consider. Situated approximately 10 minutes from downtown Tillamook, it offers a potentially convenient location for accessing local amenities and exploring the coastal region. However, recent customer reviews provide important insights into the park's service and conditions that prospective visitors should be aware of.
One recurring theme in the feedback is negative customer service experiences. Multiple reviewers have reported difficulties in contacting the park management. One customer mentioned that the "voicemail full for days on end, really hard to get in touch with." This lack of responsiveness can be a significant concern for travelers needing to make inquiries, reservations, or address any issues during their stay. Another reviewer who arrived after hours noted the absence of WiFi password information and a lack of response to an email sent on Friday night, ultimately leading to dissatisfaction by their Sunday morning departure. For individuals who "work on the road" and rely on consistent communication and internet access, these service issues could pose considerable challenges.
Furthermore, a specific incident regarding application denial raises concerns about transparency and potentially discriminatory practices. One prospective guest, a "queer artist couple" with a trailer renovated in 2021, reported being denied an application due to an alleged requirement for "a 2005 or newer rig." The reviewer highlighted that this crucial age restriction was not communicated upfront, leading to wasted time and effort in filling out the application and sharing personal information. The reviewer also suggested that this denial "smells like discrimination," referencing "previous comments elude to this issue as well." While it is important to note that this is one individual's interpretation, the lack of clear communication regarding vehicle age requirements is a valid point of concern for anyone considering a stay at Pleasant Valley RV Park.
On a more positive note, one reviewer did mention the convenience of being "only 10 minutes from downtown Tillamook," which could be an attractive feature for those wishing to explore the town's attractions, dining options, and the famous Tillamook Creamery. Additionally, another reviewer specifically praised the "great dog area," which is a significant amenity for travelers with pets.
However, alongside the positive mention of the dog area, another significant concern was raised regarding the condition of the park. One reviewer noted that "full timer RVs are poorly taken care of and really disgusting." This observation suggests a potential disparity in the upkeep of different sections or types of RVs within the park, which could impact the overall aesthetic and potentially the sanitary conditions of the environment for all guests. This is an important factor to consider when evaluating Pleasant Valley RV Park as one of the "RV parks near me."
Considering the available customer feedback, prospective users searching for "RV parks near me" should weigh the convenience of the location and the presence of a dog area against the reported issues with customer service, communication, and the condition of some long-term RVs. The alleged lack of transparency regarding vehicle age restrictions during the application process is also a point of caution for anyone with an RV older than the potentially uncommunicated cutoff.
While there is no specific promotional information provided in the given data, it is crucial for Pleasant Valley RV Park to address the concerns raised in these reviews to ensure a positive experience for future guests. Clear communication regarding park rules and requirements, improved responsiveness to inquiries, and attention to the overall maintenance and appearance of the park, including long-term resident areas, are essential for enhancing customer satisfaction.
For local users and those traveling to the Tillamook area, it is recommended to contact Pleasant Valley RV Park directly at (503) 842-4779 or +1 503-842-4779 to inquire about their current policies, availability, and to seek clarification on any potential concerns raised by the recent reviews. It may also be beneficial to look for more recent feedback from other travelers on various online platforms to get a broader perspective on the current state of the park. Visiting the location at 11880 U.S. 101 S, Tillamook, OR 97141, USA, if feasible, could also provide a firsthand impression of the park's environment and upkeep.
In conclusion, while Pleasant Valley RV Park offers a convenient location near downtown Tillamook and a designated dog area, potential guests searching for "RV parks near me" should be aware of the reported issues concerning customer service responsiveness, communication of park policies (specifically regarding RV age), and the condition of some long-term RVs within the park. It is advisable to seek further information and recent reviews before making a reservation to ensure it meets your expectations for a comfortable and hassle-free stay on the Oregon Coast.

Pleasant Valley RV Park Reviews
Negative customer service. Voicemail full for days on end, really hard to get in touch with. Sent us an application and then when we filled it out we’re denied because they claim to require “ a 2005 or newer rig” when our trailer was completely renovated in 2021. We sent detailed personal info and spent a long timing filling out the application— a big deal breaker like age should be communicated immediately (and often is listen on RV park websites). We’re a queer artist couple and this smells like discrimination, and previous comments elude to this issue as well.
Oct 14, 2024 · Katy PattersonOnly 10 minutes from downtown Tillamook which was convenient. We got there after hours and our site map was on the door. We parked and realized we had no cell service, went to look for the WiFi password, it was no where to be found. I emailed them (Friday night) and never got a response. We left Sunday morning. Not great service for people who work on the road. Great dog area. Full timer RVs are poorly taken care of and really disgusting.
Jun 10, 2024 · Mel DWe are having an excellent stay here. Arrived 10 days ago, we hope to stay another two months. Very peaceful and quiet, the staff here works hard to keep the place nice. Shelly in the office is efficient and easy to work with. Great dog run and playground. Excellent laundry facility. Park is located near town and the ocean. Great WiFi. Lots of trees and grass. Couldn't be nicer.
May 14, 2021 · ANDREW FrogelI always like to post something positive.....the front desk lady was nice, the grounds were attractive once you went out to the perimeter. Laundry was fine. The sites are on top of each other and most here are full timers. Unfortunately, the bathroom was filthy......hair all over the floor. The grounds keeper was mowing at 530pm and couldn't do our grass area. He did it the next day while we were gone and there were grass clippings in all our belongings that were outside. We would have moved our things had we been asked. Also the bunnies and large amount of stray cats was cute, but if you have a dog, it may be a bit distracting.
Jul 09, 2021 · Kathryn HustonWell this certainly isn't "the nicest RV park on the Oregon Coast" like the business claims. Let me list why...The pads are very close together, and ours was not level at all, and they were covered in sharp shale rocks which isn't great for tires or for dropping stabilizer jacks. They claim there is wifi available (which was a dealbreaker for us because there was zero cell service) but their signal SUCKS and the time I had it (only about 10% of our stay) it was VERY slow, even when I had to inconveniently walk to the office area where the router was. They are dog friendly in terms of their gated doggy run but dog owners beware that there are loose pet cats running around all over and also feral domesticated rabbits EVERYWHERE. My dog that has a strong prey drive was driven insane just going right outside our camper to pee. It was a huge nuisance and very unenjoyable. We were happy about having washers and dryers on site but the first one we spent 1.75 on to use didn't have any heat and wasted 2 hours of our time, and 1.75 since the office was closed and wasn't available to give a refund. The supposedly spotless private restrooms were out of order. This wasn't a huge deal but was definitely another annoyance, we had to listen to the groundskeeper running an antique steam roller all over and it was loud and smokey.Lastly, three sherriff's showed up for a problem tenant, probably one of the many permanent residents. We feel like we way over paid for this subpar experience, and I honestly would never recommend it.
