For individuals seeking long-term living solutions for mobile homes and potentially RVs within the Norfolk, Virginia area, platforms like "RV Parks Near Me" serve as valuable resources. Among the listings one might encounter is Princess Anne Mobile Home Park (MHP), located at 4020 E Little Creek Rd #1, Norfolk, VA 23518, USA. This detailed introduction provides an objective look at Princess Anne MHP, encompassing its environment, the services it offers, its distinct features, and insights gleaned from promotional information and, importantly, direct resident feedback. The park can be contacted at (757) 875-2392 or +1 757-875-2392.
Princess Anne MHP is situated in Norfolk, Virginia, a vibrant port city with a significant military presence and diverse urban and suburban landscapes. The address, 4020 E Little Creek Rd, places the park in a developed area of Norfolk, likely with proximity to various city amenities, shopping centers, and transportation routes. Little Creek Road itself is a significant thoroughfare, suggesting easy access to other parts of Norfolk and potentially neighboring cities like Virginia Beach.
The broader environment of Norfolk is characterized by its coastal climate, experiencing humid summers and relatively mild winters. Like any urban area, residents might expect varying levels of noise and activity depending on the park's immediate surroundings. While specific details about the park's internal landscaping, green spaces, or communal areas are not widely available in public information, the general expectation for a mobile home park is that it offers individual lots for homes, with some shared infrastructure. The presence of roads within the park, as alluded to in resident feedback, indicates internal circulation for vehicles.
Considering the metropolitan setting, access to public transportation, local businesses, and services such as grocery stores, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions would typically be within a reasonable distance from a location on E Little Creek Road. These external environmental factors contribute significantly to the convenience and livability for residents of Princess Anne MHP.
As a mobile home park catering to long-term residents, Princess Anne MHP would primarily offer lot rentals. These rentals typically include access to essential utilities necessary for mobile home living. While specific details on utility billing (e.g., whether utilities are included in rent, metered separately, or sub-metered) are not explicitly detailed in general public information, it is common for residents to be responsible for their own electricity and potentially water/sewer, often paid directly to utility providers or reimbursed to the park. Mobile home parks generally provide connections for water, sewer, and electricity to each individual lot. Trash collection services are also typically arranged by the park for its residents, often through communal dumpsters.
The phone numbers provided, (757) 875-2392 and +1 757-875-2392, indicate direct lines of communication for prospective or current residents to inquire about available lots, rental terms, and specific services provided by the park management. The nature of mobile home parks means that residents own their homes but lease the land they sit on, making the services primarily focused on maintaining the community infrastructure and facilitating occupancy.
The core feature of Princess Anne MHP is its function as a residential community for manufactured homes and potentially long-term RVs. Unlike transient RV campgrounds, a mobile home park is designed for more permanent occupancy, offering a stable address for residents. Its location on E Little Creek Road positions it within Norfolk, granting residents access to the city's amenities and employment opportunities. The park's operational status and contact information suggest it is an established facility managed to facilitate mobile home living.
Based on resident feedback, the park features internal roads, which are a critical part of the infrastructure for access to individual lots. The reviews also highlight the presence of utility connections at the lots, specifically electrical and plumbing, which are fundamental features for any mobile home park. The park's management is involved in addressing maintenance issues within the community, as evidenced by resident interactions regarding repairs and infrastructure concerns. The presence of individual lots implies a degree of personal space for each resident's home, differentiating it from multi-unit apartment complexes. The fact that it is listed under "RV Parks Near Me" suggests that it might also cater to RVs seeking long-term placement, although its primary designation appears to be a mobile home park.
While specific overarching promotional statements from Princess Anne MHP are not widely accessible in public searches beyond its basic classification as a mobile home park, the nature of such communities is often promoted on aspects of affordability, community living, and stable residency. However, the true character and quality of a mobile home park are often best understood through the experiences of its residents. The provided customer reviews offer significant, albeit challenging, insights into the park's conditions and management practices.
One detailed review from a resident highlights several critical issues. This resident describes purchasing a trailer that was supposedly "in good condition" but subsequently required numerous personal repairs, including a faulty electrical furnace due to incorrect wiring, a leak under the kitchen sink, a ceiling leak, non-functional outlets, and a rotting, slippery wooden porch that was never sealed. Furthermore, the review points to ongoing plumbing issues, specifically a broken water valve that was not properly replaced, and significant problems with the park's road infrastructure, describing it as "raised leading to poor drainage in our yards" and "filled with bumps and potholes." The resident also mentions attempts to address these issues with park owners, with unsatisfactory outcomes where "some handyman" was sent out who claimed no solution was possible for drainage. This review paints a picture of substantial maintenance and infrastructure challenges within the park, directly contradicting any implied sense of a well-maintained or problem-free living environment.
Another review echoes concerns about the park's upkeep, stating, "You need to watch for debris and stuff on ground. Came here once to see a friend, left with nails in new tires. Needless to say I had a slow tire leak on a Saturday night into Sunday and Monday." This comment suggests a general issue with cleanliness and safety within the park's common areas, specifically its roads or grounds, posing a risk to vehicles.
For potential residents searching on "RV Parks Near Me" for a long-term solution in Norfolk, these reviews are crucial. They indicate that while Princess Anne MHP offers a location for mobile home and potentially RV residency, there are significant reported issues with property condition, utility infrastructure (electrical and plumbing), road maintenance, and potentially the responsiveness and effectiveness of park management in addressing these concerns. Prospective residents would be well-advised to conduct thorough personal inspections of any available units and the park's common areas, inquire directly about the resolution of such issues, and perhaps speak with current residents to gain a comprehensive understanding of the living experience before committing to a tenancy at Princess Anne MHP. The objective reality, based on available information, suggests a need for careful consideration given the concerns raised by residents regarding the park's maintenance and the quality of repairs.

Princess Anne MHP Reviews
Bonnie Ford and her brother decided to leave out the fact that the work To my home was done by a handyman not by a contracted business. Turns out the new electric furnace was shorting the breaker out every fifteen minutes because the handyman hooked it up with the wrong gauge wire. there was a leak in the plumbing under the kitchen sink, a leak in the ceiling, multiple outlets don't work, the wooden porch was never sealed and painted so now it's rotting and slippery. I bought a 7000 dollar trailer that i was told was in good condition and now I'm having to make repairs out of my own pocket. yesterday I told the park owners to replace a water valve missing a handle on the water meter and they send out another inexperienced plumber that doesn’t replace the valve that is partially broken he just installs a valve right before it. The road in the park is raised leading to pour drainage in our yards. It's filled with bumps and potholes. I told owners to fix the drainage problem and they sent out some handyman that told me nah I don't think there's any way to fix it.
