Ramar Mobile Home Park Introduce
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in the South Daytona, Florida area, and considering various long-term housing options, including mobile home parks, we present an overview of Ramar Mobile Home Park, located at 1930 S Ridgewood Ave, South Daytona, FL 32119, USA. While our platform primarily focuses on RV parks, understanding the broader residential landscape can be beneficial for those seeking a place to call home in the region. The information provided below is based on the limited but contrasting feedback available from online reviews.
One detailed review from a resident expresses significant concerns regarding the value received for the lot rent at Ramar Mobile Home Park. The resident raises the question of what the lot rent covers beyond the physical space for their mobile home. Specific issues highlighted include "unkempt" lawns and a "ridiculous" population of stray cats. The reviewer details problems associated with these stray cats, such as fighting under their mobile home, traversing the roof, and damaging their vehicle's paint. The resident indicates that these issues were previously brought to the attention of management ("Alicia") without resolution.
Furthermore, this review raises concerns about the park's pet policy under new management. The resident alleges that allowing a number of large dogs, particularly pit bulls, breaches the park's contract and poses a risk to owners of small dogs. This concern is stated to be based on personal experience. The reviewer also mentions posting this feedback on a community board, suggesting a desire for broader awareness and potential action regarding these issues.
In contrast to this critical feedback, another resident offers a brief but positive sentiment, stating, "Love this place I call it home." This starkly different perspective suggests that experiences within Ramar Mobile Home Park may vary significantly among residents. It is important to consider both positive and negative feedback when evaluating a potential living situation.
Based on the limited information available, it is challenging to provide a comprehensive overview of the environment, services, and features of Ramar Mobile Home Park. However, we can attempt to synthesize the points raised in the reviews:
Environment: The environment appears to be a point of contention. One resident describes "unkempt" lawns and a problematic stray cat population, suggesting potential issues with park maintenance and animal control. The presence of a significant number of large dogs, if accurate, could also impact the overall environment for some residents, particularly small pet owners.
Services: The critical review questions the value provided for the lot rent, implying a potential dissatisfaction with the services offered or the level of maintenance of communal areas. The specific services included in the lot rent are not detailed, but typically in mobile home parks, this would cover the land on which the home sits and potentially access to basic park amenities, if any exist. The lack of mention of specific amenities in either review makes it difficult to ascertain what services are provided.
Features: The primary features that can be gleaned from the reviews are the location in South Daytona and the varying experiences of residents. The presence of a new management team is also noted as a potential factor influencing park policies, particularly regarding pets.
Given the limited and conflicting information, providing specific promotional information is challenging. However, we can highlight the contrasting viewpoints for local users searching for "mobile home parks near me":
Potential for a Sense of Home: The positive review indicates that some residents do find Ramar Mobile Home Park to be a place they "call home," suggesting a sense of community or personal satisfaction for at least some individuals.
Location in South Daytona: The park's address indicates a location within South Daytona, which may offer proximity to local amenities, services, and attractions in the area. However, the reviews do not elaborate on the specific convenience of this location.
Areas of Concern: Potential residents should be aware of the issues raised in the negative review, including concerns about park maintenance (unkempt lawns), stray animal populations (cats), and pet policies (large dogs, particularly pit bulls). It is important to note that these are the experiences and perceptions of one resident.
For local users considering Ramar Mobile Home Park as a long-term housing option, it is crucial to approach with caution and seek further information. The significant discrepancies between the two available reviews highlight the importance of conducting thorough due diligence.
Prospective residents are strongly advised to:
Contact Management Directly: Reach out to the park management at the provided address (1930 S Ridgewood Ave, South Daytona, FL 32119, USA) to inquire about lot rent inclusions, park rules and regulations (especially regarding pets and animal control), maintenance schedules, and any available amenities. It is important to address the specific concerns raised in the negative review directly with the management to understand their perspective and any planned actions.
Visit the Park: A personal visit to Ramar Mobile Home Park would allow potential residents to assess the condition of the grounds, observe the pet situation, and get a general feel for the community environment.
Seek Additional Resident Feedback: If possible, try to connect with other current residents to gain a broader understanding of the living experience at Ramar Mobile Home Park.
Given the limited and conflicting nature of the available information, it is not possible to provide a definitive recommendation for or against Ramar Mobile Home Park. Local users are encouraged to conduct their own thorough investigation to determine if this community meets their individual needs and expectations for long-term living.

Ramar Mobile Home Park Reviews
Would like to know what we're getting for the lot rent other than our mobile homes sitting on a block of soil. The lawns are unkempt, the out of control stray cat population is ridiculous already. I have stray cats fighting under my mobile home , going across my roof, sitting on my car damaging my paint job. All of these things I'm pretty sure I've already mentioned to Alicia months ago ! And the number of large dogs in particular pit bulls that have been allowed in the park since New Management has taken over really breaches their own contract and puts every small dog owner at risk every time they walk their dogs. And I do speak from experience. And yes I'm dropping this on the community board because apparently mentioning it to management went absolutely nowhere! LoL
