Rancho Marina RV Park Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" in the Isleton, California region, nestled in the heart of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta? Rancho Marina RV Park, located at 395 Brannan Island Rd, Isleton, CA 95641, is a potential option to consider. You can reach them by phone at (916) 623-4925 or their mobile number, +1 916-623-4925.
When choosing an RV park, especially for those looking to enjoy the natural beauty and recreational opportunities of the Delta, factors like the environment, community, and available services are paramount. Online reviews can offer a glimpse into the experiences of current and past residents, providing valuable insights for prospective visitors. Rancho Marina RV Park has received a mix of feedback, highlighting both potential challenges and positive aspects.
One review recounts a negative experience concerning the return of a deposit. The former resident describes a lengthy and difficult process, ultimately requiring legal intervention in the form of a demand letter to Monte Christo Properties to receive their deposit back. This process reportedly took two months and involved numerous unanswered or unreturned calls to Monica in the company's accounting department. This account raises concerns about the previous management's handling of financial matters and communication with former residents.
Adding to these initial concerns, the same reviewer mentions the current state of the park at the time of their departure. They describe it as "basically renting a gravel lot with undrinkable water." This is a significant issue, as access to potable water is a fundamental necessity for any living situation. The reviewer states that they were informed about the undrinkable water only after signing the paperwork and paying their money. Furthermore, they note a lack of shade and a significant amount of bird droppings on RVs and tow vehicles. The reviewer expresses hope for improvement under new ownership, having heard that the park would be changing hands, but indicates they are not willing to try the park again themselves.
However, another review offers a much more positive perspective on Rancho Marina RV Park. This resident describes it as "a great place to live" that is "improving bit by bit." They highlight the dog-friendly nature of the community, the welcoming and helpful attitude of the residents, and the respect for neighbor's privacy. This reviewer specifically praises the park manager, Donna, for being readily available to residents' needs, working diligently to address issues promptly, and striving to improve the residents' quality of life.
Adding to the positive aspects, this review also describes the appealing natural environment of Rancho Marina. The park is reportedly surrounded by greenery on three sides, with the Mokelumne River bordering the remaining side. This creates a generally quiet atmosphere, with the sounds of nature such as small birds, crickets, and frogs, occasionally punctuated by passing boats or motorcycles. This description suggests a tranquil and potentially scenic setting for RV living, appealing to those seeking a peaceful retreat.
Furthermore, this positive review mentions practical amenities for those interested in boating. Boat trailer storage is available for a very reasonable fee, and a convenient boat launch area is located less than a quarter mile away, situated at a local bar and eatery. This proximity to the river and boat launch is a significant advantage for RVers who enjoy water activities such as boating, fishing, or simply enjoying the waterfront environment of the Delta.
Considering these contrasting reviews, potential visitors to Rancho Marina RV Park should be aware of the reported past issues with deposit returns and the condition of the park under previous management, particularly the issue of undrinkable water at that time. It is crucial to inquire about the current status of the water supply and any improvements made under new ownership, as mentioned in the negative review.
On the other hand, the positive review highlights a welcoming, dog-friendly community, a responsive park manager, and a pleasant natural environment with convenient access to the Mokelumne River for boating enthusiasts. The availability of boat trailer storage at a reasonable cost is also a significant perk for those planning to bring watercraft.
When evaluating "RV parks near me," prospective residents often consider the following factors:
- The overall environment and scenery.
- The sense of community and interactions with other residents.
- The responsiveness and helpfulness of the park management.
- The availability and quality of essential utilities (water, electricity, sewer).
- The cleanliness and maintenance of the park facilities.
- Pet policies and amenities for pet owners.
- Access to recreational activities and local attractions.
- The cost of site rental and any additional fees.
- Safety and security measures.
For Rancho Marina RV Park, the positive review suggests strengths in community, park management (under Donna), and the natural environment, particularly for those who appreciate waterfront locations and boating access. However, the past issues with deposit returns and the previous report of undrinkable water are serious concerns that need to be addressed by the current management and verified by potential residents.
If you are considering Rancho Marina RV Park as one of the "RV parks near me" in the Isleton area, it would be wise to:
- Contact the park management directly to inquire about the current status of the water supply and any other concerns raised in the past reviews.
- Ask about any recent improvements or changes under the new ownership.
- Inquire about their deposit policies and procedures.
- If possible, visit the park in person to assess the current environment, meet the manager, and speak with current residents to get a more up-to-date perspective.
- For those with pets, confirm the specific details of their dog-friendly policies.
- For boating enthusiasts, verify the availability and cost of boat trailer storage and the proximity to the boat launch.
The mention of new ownership offers a glimmer of hope for potential improvements at Rancho Marina RV Park. If the new owners have addressed the past issues and are committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and well-managed environment, Rancho Marina's location on the Mokelumne River, surrounded by greenery, could make it an attractive option for those seeking "RV parks near me" with a natural setting and access to water recreation.
In conclusion, Rancho Marina RV Park presents a mixed picture based on recent online reviews. While there are positive comments regarding the community, the park manager, and the scenic waterfront location with boating amenities, past issues concerning deposit returns and the quality of basic utilities like drinking water raise valid concerns. Prospective residents should conduct thorough due diligence, directly communicate with the current management, and ideally visit the park to assess its current condition and ensure it meets their needs and expectations for an "RV park near me" in the Isleton, CA area.

Rancho Marina RV Park Reviews
I had one hellova time getting my deposit back. I had to actually get a lawyer to send Monte Christo Properties a demand letter. In the end I got the money back, but 2 months later with MANY un-returned or un-answered calls to Monica with the company's Accounting department.I hear that this place will be under new ownership, and hopefully the new owners can turn Rancho Marina around. It has potential. If you go there right now, you are basically renting a gravel lot with undrinkable water. No really, you cannot drink the water there at this time. That was something they told me AFTER I signed all the papers and handed them my money. There is NO shade and a LOT of bird poop all over your RV and tow vehicle. Best of luck to them, but I'm not up for a second try with this place.
Jan 01, 2025 · Tracie StephensRancho Marina has been a great place to live, and it keeps improving bit by bit! The community here is dog friendly, residents are welcoming and helpful, and everyone is respectful of their neighbor's privacy. Our park manager, Donna, goes out of her way to be available to the residents for any of our needs, and she works hard to address issues expediently and improve our quality of life.We are surrounded by greenery on three sides and the Mokelumne River on the remaining side. It's pretty quiet out here most times, with the peaceful sounds of small birds, crickets, and frogs only occasionally broken by a passing boat or motorcycle throughout the day or night.Boat trailer storage is available for an extremely reasonable fee and the closest launch area is less than a quarter mile away - which is conveniently located at the local bar & eatery!
May 22, 2024 · Corey WidenRancho Marina is a wonderful park, and I highly recommend it as a place to live. The park manager, Donna, is an exceptional individual who is dedicated to the well-being of the families residing there. She is approachable, easy to work with, and genuinely cares about the community. Under her leadership, the park is meticulously maintained and kept spotlessly clean. If you are seeking a new home, I wholeheartedly endorse Rancho Marina as an ideal choice.
May 21, 2024 · Dereck MosherReally nice, clean and great location. The manager Donna is very nice and always available when you have a question or need something. It's like living in your own little community. We're all like family! There is are some great shady spots as well. Spaces are good size. Best part is each spot has their own PGE meter and we pay our own bill. Employees are friendly, and really helpful when needed. A plus is your right across from the delta and within walking distance to Pizzaria and bar! Rent is really reasonable too. Love living here on the delta with great people, friends, and family!
May 23, 2024 · Vicki GonzalezPhenomenal park! Manager Donna is awesome and a breeze to deal with. She takes great care of her park and genuinely cares about her residents. If you’re looking for a place to call home, I highly recommend Rancho Marina
