Red Barn RV&B Introduce
Welcome to Red Barn RV&B, situated at 3000 Interstate 35 Service Rd in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. For local users seeking "RV parks near me," Red Barn RV&B presents a location with recent changes in ownership and varying perspectives from customer reviews. Formerly known as Auumann Acres RV Park, this campground offers a potentially convenient stop along Interstate 35. To provide an objective introduction, we will examine the environment, services, features, and any indications of promotional information based on the available feedback.
The environment of Red Barn RV&B appears to be a point of contention among recent reviewers. One guest described the park as "pretty trashy" and noted the presence of "a couple piles of gravel/dirt that needs to be spread due to weather creating chug holes," which had reportedly remained unattended. This suggests potential issues with the park's upkeep and overall appearance, which the reviewer felt indicated a lack of pride in the property by the owner. Such conditions could detract significantly from the experience of staying at the park, impacting the usability of the grounds and the overall aesthetic appeal.
In contrast, another reviewer described the park as a "Nice and quiet RV Park (most of the time.)" This suggests that despite potential maintenance issues, the park might offer a degree of peace and quiet that is appealing to some travelers. However, this positive aspect was qualified by concerns related to new ownership. The reviewer mentioned that under the new ownership (as of late 2023 / early 2024), the park was "slowly losing its uniqueness" due to issues such as the alleged reluctance to address problem neighbors. This implies that while the physical environment might have had some positive aspects in the past, changes under new management could be affecting the overall atmosphere and quality of life within the park.
Regarding services, one reviewer explicitly stated, "They have NO amenities." If accurate, this would mean that Red Barn RV&B might offer only the very basic necessities for RV parking, such as hookups (water, electricity, sewer). The absence of amenities like recreational areas, a laundry facility, restrooms, or showers would be a significant consideration for travelers who rely on these for a comfortable stay. However, the second reviewer's mention of the park being "quiet (most of the time)" could indirectly suggest that the focus is more on providing a basic overnight stop rather than a full-service resort-style experience. To obtain accurate information about the services offered, direct contact with the park management is essential.
The features of Red Barn RV&B are also subject to differing interpretations based on the reviews. Its location along Interstate 35 Service Rd offers easy access to a major transportation route, which can be a significant advantage for overnight stops or those needing to be near this corridor. The potential for a "quiet" environment (as noted by one reviewer, albeit with a qualification) could be considered a feature for those seeking a peaceful night's rest. However, the alleged lack of amenities and the reported maintenance issues (unspread gravel, "chug holes") would be significant drawbacks. The change in ownership and the subsequent concerns raised by a long-term resident about the park "losing its uniqueness" and the handling of problematic neighbors suggest a potential shift in the park's character and management style, which could be a key feature (or disfeature) for prospective guests.
The first reviewer's comment, "They need to have someone come in a be a property manager not just a slum lord, and they charge TOP dollar," implies that the pricing of Red Barn RV&B might not align with the perceived lack of amenities and maintenance. This suggests that there may not be any current promotional offers or discounts that would offset the cost, given the reviewer's perception of being overcharged for what is provided. Without any specific mention of rates or special deals in the reviews, it is impossible to comment definitively on any promotional information. Local users would need to inquire directly about the pricing structure and any potential discounts for short-term or long-term stays.
In conclusion, Red Barn RV&B, formerly Auumann Acres RV Park, located on Interstate 35 Service Rd in Oklahoma City, presents a mixed profile for those searching for "RV parks near me." While one reviewer noted its potential for being a "quiet RV Park (most of the time)," others raised significant concerns about the lack of amenities, poor maintenance ("pretty trashy," unspread gravel leading to "chug holes"), and issues related to new ownership and park management, including alleged reluctance to address problem neighbors. The pricing was also questioned by one reviewer who felt it was too high for the apparent lack of services and upkeep. For local users considering a stay at Red Barn RV&B, it is strongly recommended to contact the park management directly to inquire about the current amenities, the status of maintenance and any ongoing improvements, the park's policies regarding neighbors and security, and the pricing structure. Given the contrasting and concerning feedback in the recent reviews, a thorough personal inquiry is crucial to make an informed decision about whether this RV park meets your needs and expectations for a comfortable and safe stay.

Red Barn RV&B Reviews
They have NO amenities, it's pretty trashy. They have a couple piles of gravel/dirt that needs to be spread due to weather creating chug holes, and it has never been spread, it sits right where whom ever dumped it. You would think the owner would take more pride in his property and what it's appearance is to draw people in, they don't. They need to have someone come in a be a property manager not just a slum lord, and they charge TOP dollar.
Jul 24, 2024 · Shauna StoppNice and quiet RV Park (most of the time.) Under new ownership as of late 2023 / early 2024. Previously known as Auumann Acres RV Park also previously owned by Troy Auumann. New owner has been reluctant on evicting my dope dealing neighbors and this place is slowly losing its uniqueness, under its new ownership for sure!!
