Red Bluff RV Park Introduce
Looking for "RV parks near me" in the Red Bluff, California area? Red Bluff RV Park, located at 80 Chestnut Ave, Red Bluff, CA 96080, offers a potentially convenient and well-situated option for RV travelers and those seeking longer-term stays. Red Bluff, a city in Tehama County, Northern California, serves as a gateway to outdoor adventures and offers a blend of small-town charm and access to regional attractions.
Red Bluff RV Park's location offers potential advantages for visitors. It is reportedly close to the Tehama District Fairgrounds, making it a convenient base for those attending events or activities there. Additionally, its proximity to the town of Red Bluff suggests easy access to local restaurants, shops, and essential services. The park also boasts good access to the freeway, which can be beneficial for travelers looking to explore the surrounding region or for those needing to commute.
According to one online review, the park itself is described as "beautiful, clean, and quiet." This suggests that the physical environment of Red Bluff RV Park may be well-maintained and offer a peaceful setting for guests. The presence of "lots of green grass around the property" and "mature trees" further contributes to a potentially pleasant and shady atmosphere, which can be particularly appealing during the warmer months in Northern California.
The park also offers practical features for RV travelers. The review mentions that "many of the sites are pull-through" and "things are quite level." Pull-through sites are highly convenient for RVs as they eliminate the need to back in, making setup and departure much easier. Level sites are also crucial for ensuring the proper functioning of RV appliances and for overall comfort.
For pet owners, Red Bluff RV Park appears to be accommodating, featuring a "nice big grassy dog park." This amenity provides a dedicated space for dogs to exercise and socialize safely, which is a significant benefit for those traveling with pets. The presence of green grass throughout the property also suggests ample space for walking pets.
The review also notes the presence of "full-timers" within the park but assures that it "definitely doesn't detract at all" from the experience of other guests. This indicates that the community fosters a welcoming atmosphere for both short-term and long-term residents.
However, it is crucial to consider a contrasting experience detailed in another, more extensive review. This review describes an initially positive interaction with the manager but quickly deteriorates into allegations of unprofessional behavior, lack of communication, and what the reviewer perceives as discriminatory treatment. The reviewer recounts issues with site availability despite providing card information, being yelled at over payment timing, and alleged threats of towing. The reviewer also expresses concerns about being treated with disrespect as a single female, contrasting this with the manager's interactions with male residents.
This detailed negative review, while it praises the park's physical attributes ("beautiful, clean and quiet"), raises serious concerns about the management and the way guests are treated. The stark contrast between this experience and the positive feedback regarding the friendly and helpful manager highlights the potential for variability in guest experiences or a change in management over time. It underscores the importance for potential guests to seek current and multiple perspectives on the park's management practices.
When considering Red Bluff RV Park as one of the "RV parks near me," it is essential to weigh both the positive aspects of its location, cleanliness, amenities like pull-through sites and a dog park, against the serious allegations raised in the negative review regarding management conduct and communication. Potential guests may want to inquire specifically about the current management and their approach to guest relations when contacting the park at (530) 529-2929 or +1 530-529-2929.
To gain a more comprehensive understanding, it would be beneficial to look for more recent reviews or testimonials online from various platforms. Contacting the park directly to inquire about their policies, procedures, and to get a feel for their customer service approach is also highly recommended. Asking specific questions related to the issues raised in the negative review, such as payment policies, site reservations, and how guest concerns are handled, could provide valuable insights.
In conclusion, Red Bluff RV Park offers a potentially attractive location near the fairgrounds, town amenities, and the freeway, along with features like pull-through sites, a dog park, and a reportedly clean and quiet environment. However, a detailed customer review raises significant concerns about the park's management and treatment of guests. Prospective visitors should carefully consider this contrasting feedback and conduct thorough due diligence, including contacting the park directly and seeking additional recent reviews, to make an informed decision about whether Red Bluff RV Park meets their needs and expectations.

Red Bluff RV Park Reviews
My initial meeting with John the manager was cordial, nice, enthusiastic. I was greeted with the promise I could stay a month and if I wanted two weeks or more it would be no problem. My visa card was given that moment for the next day. When I stopped by because email said I was being charged something different John straightened out mistake. To my surprise tho my spot had been rented out wasn't available for four more days by giving him my card information I thought my site was good. Having my trailer pulled down from the mountains I now had to find a place to put it till then and inform driver that was being paid to do this I had to stop him from delivering to here. Showed up Monday, driver pulled in he had lost awning on travel here but torn cleanly off and cost of replacing not to bad. He had put cover to a/c in trailer so would not be damaged while traveling. John stormed up to site did not respond when I said Hi and was trying to explain what happened he just stormed around trailer said it was not up to his liking and he wanted me gone as a soon as month up. I didn't understand why he would not speak or listen to me. Apparently he didn't bill my card for another 5 to 7 days I do mobile banking thought his had gone thru he came by yelling at me would not listen all I had to do was call employer and have them pay difference from what was on my card, John had given me two hrs or he was having my RV towed of course I walked in paid and tried to make amends see what the problem was and apologize for whatever I could have done. His response was just too much to talk about. When it was time to move I texted him the day before my truck was in shop and I wouldn't have until Monday this was Friday I said I would come in and take care of payment but wanted to let him know. Again I was threatened with having my trailer towed out of here until I spoke with owners. Of course he told them I never reached out to him, he told them that he had to approach me well I did this by email but owners didn't even read it. I've noticed I'm single female he treats me with no respect whatsoever but runs around talking with every man in here. A couple of these gentlemen have RVs that look the same or worse than mine faded, awning torn shreaded, stuff all around their house space. I have never said this before but I feel like discrimination against me was fun for him. There was no excuse for his actions. I'm quiet, I work, my two children are adults who are quiet waiting for me to get off our pet is a ten year old female mutt I pick up her poop and she never barks unless you knock on door. And she's only maybe 25lb we have been the best of neighbors pleasant always saying hi or waving. He hates women? He hates native American my son,? I truly tried everything to find out the problem to fix things to get along there was no reason at all for this treatment and I'm not over this or finished with checking on legalities of this. Just glad I have my emails to prove he tells a story to make himself look like he has said and done nothing. The park itself is beautiful, clean and quiet. If not for management I would give five stars. Being treated like I'm not worth speaking to and that my words aren't truthful and my equipment is subpar no I will not let this be just dropped.
Dec 08, 2024 · Marizona DavisGreat, quiet, shady RV park close to the fairgrounds, town, restaurants, and access to the freeway. The manager was very friendly and helpful and accommodating. Many of the sites are pull- through and things are quite level. There is a nice big grassy dog park and lots of green grass around the property. Trees are mature, and though there are full-timers here, it definitely doesn't detract at all. We'll be back for sure!
Oct 13, 2024 · Debera LepageThe RV park was exceptionally beautiful. Everything appeared very clean. The pool was small but well-maintained, as were the sanitary facilities. Some furniture urgently needs to be replaced. The management is only reachable during limited hours. The man who claimed to be the owner when asked was incredibly rude and ruined our visit. We will not be coming back.
Oct 07, 2024 · Bratwurst BanditsA great place if you need a quick layover or somewhere lengthy to stay. I read some negative reviews so I was a little apprehensive pulling my 43ft alliance paradigm. Very close to many amenities and centrally located in Redding. Paula was great. Price was competitive. I would 100% stay again.
Sep 17, 2024 · Joey BoggsStayed at the park for 7 days. They have a good rate and included electric and propane refills. We parked in a gravel lot (67) the rocks were bigger and piled up, luckily no issues leveling out. Full hookups, wifi, picnic table all worked good. Laundry room was nice, had quite a bit of dog hair in the washer we used so had to clean it out prior to using. Pool was broken but the dog run was nice since we have 3. Nice, up-kept, clean park with friendly neighbors and staff/owner. Didn’t have to worry about looting at this park or the homeless. Cute small town and about 3hours from any big adventure (ocean, redwoods, SF, etc.) My complaints: the spots were a little tight when pulling in due to people parking on the road/ not properly in their lot we are a big rig (45ft) understandably it’s going to be tight so smaller campers would be fine. The noise (which isn’t the parks fault) Sirens are constant 3-4x a night, i’m unsure if we’re near a firehouse. Dogs barking on the property behind the park constantly. And either fireworks or loud bang keep popping off through the nights. The park doesn’t feel sketchy but the surrounding sounds are suspicious. I’d stay at this park again it was one out of many in upper CA that are clean, affordable, and returned our phone calls.
