Rivers Edge RV Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Red Bluff, California area, Rivers Edge RV Park, situated at 25 Gilmore Rd, Red Bluff, CA 96080, USA, is one option to consider. You can contact them at (530) 527-4434 or their mobile number, +1 530-527-4434, for inquiries about availability and services. It's important to note that recent customer reviews present a mixed picture of the park, particularly concerning changes in management and the overall environment.
One review indicates that "earlier last year," Rivers Edge RV Park was considered a "great place" due to its "beautiful river-front" location and central positioning. Indeed, a riverfront location can be a significant draw for those seeking "RV parks near me" that offer scenic views and potential access to water-based activities. The central location could also provide convenient access to local amenities, attractions, and services in the Red Bluff area.
However, this positive sentiment is contrasted by significant concerns arising from a change in management. The reviewer alleges that the new management has led to a decline in the park's standards, citing issues such as "loud music," "speeders," "overflowing dumpsters," and the presence of "trashy add-ons & temporary structures." These are serious concerns for anyone looking for a peaceful and well-maintained "RV park near me." Furthermore, the review claims that the new management "removed standards for the age and condition of RV's," which could impact the overall aesthetic and potentially the functionality of the park.
Another concerning review details a negative personal experience, stating the reviewer had to leave due to a "massive cockroach infestation that was rapidly spreading" and alleged "over-charging on electricity." These are significant issues related to hygiene and fair utility practices, which are critical considerations when choosing an "RV park near me" for any length of stay. The reviewer anticipates a dispute from "J & H Management," suggesting a potential conflict regarding these issues. This feedback strongly advises caution and suggests that potential visitors should inquire specifically about pest control measures and electricity billing practices.
Adding to the list of drawbacks, the same reviewer explicitly mentions that "there's no WiFi." In today's connected world, the absence of WiFi can be a significant inconvenience for many RV travelers, whether they need it for work, communication, or entertainment. When searching for "RV parks near me," the availability of reliable internet access is often a key factor.
Despite these negative reviews, it's important to present all available information. Another reviewer who states they "stay here when working in the area" offers a contrasting positive perspective, praising the "manager Eileen" as "the best!" and calling it a "great place to stay." This suggests that individual experiences at Rivers Edge RV Park may vary, and perhaps some aspects of the park, such as the management by Eileen, are still considered positive by some guests.
Considering the conflicting feedback, anyone searching for "RV parks near me" and considering Rivers Edge RV Park should approach with caution and conduct thorough due diligence. The park's riverfront location and central positioning remain potential advantages. However, the serious allegations of declining standards, pest infestation, electricity overcharging, and the lack of WiFi are significant red flags that need to be carefully considered.
When inquiring with Rivers Edge RV Park, it would be essential to ask specific questions related to the issues raised in the negative reviews. This includes inquiring about their current pest control measures, their policies regarding noise levels and speed limits within the park, their procedures for waste management, and any standards they have for the appearance and condition of RVs. Additionally, clarifying their electricity billing practices and confirming the availability (or lack thereof) of WiFi is crucial.
Given the stark contrast in recent reviews, it might also be beneficial to seek more up-to-date feedback from other recent visitors or residents if possible. Online RV park forums or social media groups dedicated to RV travel in the Red Bluff area might provide additional insights into the current conditions at Rivers Edge RV Park.
For those specifically prioritizing amenities such as reliable WiFi, well-maintained facilities, and a peaceful environment, it would be wise to compare Rivers Edge RV Park with other "RV parks near me" in the Red Bluff vicinity. Exploring alternative options might reveal parks that offer a more consistent and positive experience based on recent reviews and advertised amenities.
In conclusion, Rivers Edge RV Park in Red Bluff, CA, offers a potentially attractive riverfront location and central access. However, recent customer reviews raise significant concerns regarding changes in management leading to issues with noise, cleanliness, park standards, pest control, electricity billing, and the absence of WiFi. While one reviewer offers a positive experience related to a specific manager, the overall picture is one of caution. Anyone considering Rivers Edge RV Park as one of their "RV parks near me" should conduct thorough inquiries addressing the issues raised in the negative feedback and consider seeking more recent opinions before making a decision. Comparing this park with other available options in the Red Bluff area is strongly recommended to ensure a satisfactory RV experience.

Rivers Edge RV Park Reviews
It was a great place earlier last year. It's located on beautiful river-front & centrally-located. New management began allowing loud music, speeders, overflowing dumpsters, trashy add-ons & temporary structures. They removed standards for the age and condition of RV's.I had to leave due to a massive cockroach infestation that was rapidly spreading and they started over-charging on elctricity. I'd expect J & H Management to reply & dispute or discredit my review, but that was my experience at River's Edge. Going there is not worth it until they clean up.Plus there's no WiFi.
Jan 31, 2021 · K CainI stay here when working in the area, the manager Eileen is the best! Great place to stay
Mar 15, 2024 · Noel SambranaThe place I call home. Quiet, cozy, and in the middle of just about anywhere needed. Beautiful Sacramento River view.
May 09, 2018 · Scott brand JrThe owner was very nice and informative. Good place to stay if you're visiting the sulfur pits and Lassen Valcanic National Park. The area is a bit noisy due to the road... We heard many first responder sirens. There are homeless people in the area so we were told to lock up our bikes at night, but that's been pretty par for course of what we have experienced in this area of the US. Lots of older RVs in this park as it seems to cater more to full time, or contract workers. Over all it was not a bad place to stay. However it was hard to get in and out of the park with a 3500 dually long bed and a 44' 5th wheel.
Dec 02, 2023 · Katie CarterThis is a diamond in the rough and I mean that respectively as Gilmore Rd has it's history of up and down and it's really a funny area with trailer parks and run down apartment complexs on one side then you have the road Howell to the right with it's huge beautiful pictures purfect river front homes you can look at from the city part in awe at. But this part is on that river front side and it's just within the last few years really got some decent managers and they deserve a good review because they have done a lot with little park and brought out it's shine and it's now a nice little quiet community of nice and newer RVs. I have a few friends who live there and they have no real complaints other than the PG can really get kinda high from month to month and they have to watch the amount of electricity they consume, and management can be kinda be intrusive especially if your coming in to see someone and your on a bike. But that's what it takes to keep up a clean and serene little local park so be it. Keep up the shine!!
