Red Rooster RV Park Introduce
Red Rooster RV Park, located at 10191 SE County Rd 245, Lake City, FL 32025, USA, offers a unique and highly-rated RV camping experience. Accessible via phone at (352) 231-7033 or mobile at +1 352-231-7033, this "5-star hidden gem" is a perfect answer for those searching for "RV parks near me" who desire a peaceful, natural, and welcoming environment.
The environment at Red Rooster RV Park is truly distinctive, as it is "situated on a working farm." This provides a serene and natural setting, allowing guests to "enjoy the serene, natural, and spacious setting and a low-key atmosphere." Reviews consistently highlight its "private, spacious and beautiful" nature, making it a "peaceful and serene" escape from the hustle and bustle. Guests have a "front row seat to our small herd of cattle, pastured poultry, and our big-sky views," which adds to the unique farm experience. Despite being on a working farm, reviews confirm that the animals – "cows, donkeys, and chickens" – have "not been bothered by at all," ensuring a quiet and undisturbed stay. The park features "spacious (100' x 60') pull-through RV sites," providing ample room for maneuverability and personal space, a highly valued aspect for RVers. These sites are designed to be "level" and offer a "beautiful and serene ambiance" with "native trees." The commitment to a calm and natural environment is a core aspect of the Red Rooster experience, appealing to those seeking tranquility.
The services at Red Rooster RV Park prioritize convenience and comfort for RV travelers. All sites come standard with "full hook-ups: Elec, Water, Sewage," including 20 amp, 30 amp, and 50 amp electricity on each site, catering to a wide range of RVs, including Class A, B, C, 5th wheels, and travel trailers (with a manufacture year of 2010 or current). A standout service, frequently mentioned in reviews, is the warm hospitality from the owners, who are described as "super friendly and hospitable." Guests are often "greeted with eggs from their farm" upon arrival, a delightful and unique touch that embodies the farm setting and caring service. While the provided information doesn't explicitly detail a large array of traditional RV park amenities like a bathhouse or laundry facilities, the strong emphasis on the owners' hospitality and the positive feedback on their attentiveness suggest that essential needs are met with care. The presence of a "community dog run" also highlights a specific service catering to pet owners, making it a "super dog friendly spot." The park's office hours are 7 days a week, from 8 am to 8 pm, with an owner/manager on premises, ensuring accessibility for guest needs and emergencies.
Key features of Red Rooster RV Park revolve around its unique farm setting and commitment to a peaceful, spacious experience. The fact that it is "located on a working farm" is its most distinguishing characteristic, offering guests a rare opportunity to be close to farm life in a comfortable RV setting. The park boasts "only six sites," which inherently provides a "private" and "zero crowds" experience, contrasting with larger, more bustling campgrounds. Each of these sites is "spacious (100' x 60') pull-through," making it exceptionally "easy access" and "Big Rig Friendly." The inclusion of "picnic tables for each site" enhances the outdoor living experience. For pet owners, the "super dog friendly" nature and the dedicated "dog run" are significant features. Furthermore, its strategic location is a major feature, being "conveniently located within six easy miles off I-75." This makes it "a perfect retreat for a quick overnighter" for those en route to "Disney and other Florida attractions," or a convenient base for exploring "nearby natural springs, Gainesville (home to the University of Florida / Gators) and Jacksonville." The complimentary fresh, free-range eggs, subject to seasonality, add a charming and memorable touch to the stay.
Promotional information for Red Rooster RV Park would strongly leverage its exceptional customer reviews, using phrases like "5 star hidden gem," "beautiful, peaceful and serene," and "will defiantly be back." The unique selling proposition of being "on a working farm" would be central to its marketing, highlighting the opportunity to observe "cows, donkeys, and chickens" in their natural environment. The park would emphasize its "private, spacious and beautiful" sites, particularly the "spacious (100' x 60') pull-through" options, to attract RVers seeking ample room and easy maneuverability. The "super dog friendly spot with a dog run" would be a key message for travelers with pets. The warm and hospitable nature of the owners, including the "complimentary free-range eggs," would be a core part of the park's appeal, promising a personalized and caring experience. Its strategic location "six miles off I-75" would be promoted for both convenient overnight stops and as a central hub for exploring nearby attractions like natural springs, Gainesville, and Jacksonville. The overall message would position Red Rooster RV Park as a tranquil, welcoming, and conveniently located destination offering a unique and memorable farm-stay experience for those searching for "RV parks near me" who value peace, privacy, and genuine hospitality.

Red Rooster RV Park Reviews
"Private, spacious and beautiful"The Red Rooster is a 5 star hidden gem! The owners were super friendly and hospitable and even greeted us with eggs from their farm. It is a super dog friendly spot with a dog run. They offer full hook-ups: Elec, Water, Sewage! It is located on a working farm. The Red Rooster is beautiful, peaceful and serene. We will defiantly be back to camp here again. It was a nice, quiet camping experience and we enjoyed it so much.
Dec 16, 2024 · Lindsay Dunlop- FerroWhat a gem! This place is amazing, and if we're ever passing through again, we will definitely make sure we stop here. The hosts are great. Greeted us and gave us some free eggs upon arrival. Nice, quiet area. You're legit on a farm; cows, donkeys, and chickens (we have not been bothered by at all) just roaming in the fields in front of you. Very peaceful!
Oct 08, 2024 · Cody LongAwesome! Peaceful. Large sites. Great owners. You'll get fresh eggs and a water filter if you don't have one. Love the new picnic tables - they look handmade. The sites are grass and there isn't Wi-fi. But they state that up front. Would definitely go back here again.
Mar 12, 2025 · Marianne PhillipsStayed here for 2 nights. Very quiet. This campground is definitely big rig friendly, not only for ingress and egress but also for spacious sites. We have a 43 foot toy hauler and had no problem maneuvering and also parking our side by side for use of the garage while we were here. Very friendly owner and even brought us a half dozen eggs! Highly recommend.
May 02, 2025 · Karan KathmannTHIS was a perfect overnight for us!Easy reservation process, easy access near I-75 & I-10 in Florida, easy pull in and pull out with our HDT with 5th wheel on flat grass and sand, and a beautiful setting, incredible night time stars and a gracious host who greeted us with fresh eggs from the farm.We would have been happy boondocking, but felt spoiled with full hook ups and the best mother nature can offer for only six (6) sites. If you enjoy being away from the crowds and simply camping in a farm setting, you'll love this, too.
