Seminole Estates Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" in the Beaverton, Oregon area, specifically within a 55+ active community? Seminole Estates, located at 100 SW 195th Ave Site #214, Beaverton, OR 97006, with phone numbers (503) 629-8630 and +1 503-629-8630, is primarily a gated 55+ mobile home community that emphasizes an active lifestyle. While its focus is on mobile home living, such communities sometimes accommodate long-term RV stays within designated areas. Based on the available customer reviews, Seminole Estates offers a vibrant social environment and a well-maintained community center, but potential residents, including those with RVs, should also be aware of concerns regarding land rent and the upkeep of individual home sites.
The environment of Seminole Estates is described as fostering an "active community," which could be a significant draw for those seeking a socially engaging living situation. The presence of a "very lovely community center" further supports this, with one reviewer noting that attending a monthly drumming circle there is "therapeutic" and that the center itself is "clean, well taken care of and very comfortable." This suggests that Seminole Estates provides a central hub for social activities and gatherings, contributing to a strong sense of community among its residents. The fact that it is a "gated 55+ community" implies a focus on security and a demographic of residents who are likely seeking a peaceful and age-appropriate living environment.
However, one recent resident who "just moved in" provides a more nuanced perspective on the overall environment and management. While acknowledging the draw of the active community, they express concern about the "outrageous" land rent, especially in light of what they perceive as limited services provided in return. They also point out that "things on site are falling apart and deteriorating," but clarify that this is considered the homeowner's responsibility since residents are leasing the land. This distinction is important for potential RV residents as well; while they would be leasing a lot, the upkeep of their RV and potentially the immediate surroundings of their site might fall under their purview.
In terms of services and features, the existence of a "very lovely community center" is a significant highlight. This likely serves as a venue for various activities, events, and social gatherings, fostering interaction among residents. The mention of a monthly drumming circle indicates the types of activities that might be organized within the community. The fact that the center is described as clean and well-maintained suggests that the management prioritizes the upkeep of communal facilities. The gated nature of the community itself is a key feature, providing an added layer of security and potentially contributing to a more private and controlled environment.
The review mentioning "SHADY Management in the office is great, but their hands are tied. Ownership should step up" presents a complex picture of the management structure. It suggests that while the on-site management staff is competent and helpful, they may be constrained by decisions or lack of investment from the ownership. This could potentially impact the responsiveness to broader community needs or the allocation of resources for maintaining the overall infrastructure of the estates. For RV residents, this might translate to efficient handling of immediate concerns by the on-site staff but potential delays or limitations in addressing larger issues related to the park's infrastructure or amenities.
The high land rent mentioned by one reviewer is a critical factor for prospective residents to consider. If this applies to RV lots as well, it would be essential to weigh the cost against the perceived benefits of the community and its amenities. Understanding exactly what services are included in the land rent for RV residents would be a crucial point of inquiry. This could include utilities, landscaping of common areas, maintenance of roads, and access to the community center and other facilities.
Currently, there is no explicit promotional information available for Seminole Estates in the provided reviews. To obtain details about the availability of RV lots (if any), the associated rental rates, any specific amenities or services offered to RV residents, and whether there are any special offers or incentives for long-term stays, it is imperative to contact the management directly using the provided phone numbers. Inquiring about the rules and regulations for RVs within this 55+ gated community would also be essential to ensure a compatible living arrangement.
In conclusion, Seminole Estates in Beaverton, Oregon, offers a compelling option for those seeking a 55+ gated community with an active social environment centered around a lovely community center. The positive aspects include the strong sense of community and the well-maintained communal facilities. However, potential residents, including those with RVs, should be aware of concerns regarding potentially high land rent and the reported deterioration of individual home sites (though this is noted as the homeowner's responsibility). The management situation appears to be one where the on-site staff is well-regarded but may face limitations due to ownership decisions. For local users searching for "RV parks near me" within a 55+ active community, Seminole Estates warrants further investigation. Direct communication with the management is crucial to ascertain the availability and cost of RV lots, the specific amenities and services offered to RV residents, and to gain a clearer understanding of the overall living experience and the value proposition relative to the land rent. Visiting the community in person might also provide valuable insights into the environment and the condition of the facilities.

Seminole Estates Reviews
I just moved in, so the verdict is still out. Choose here for the active community, a gated 55+ community. Land rent is outrageous, and they don't do much for it. Things on site are falling apart and deteriorating, but that is the homeowner's responsibility, and we are leasing the land. SHADY Management in the office is great, but their hands are tied. Ownership should step up.
Oct 05, 2024 · Mark McCulloughHave been going to a monthly drumming circle in the very lovely community center...which in itself is therapeutic for me. But Seminole Estates & the community center is clean, well taken care of and very comfortable. I truly enjoy coming here! 😊
Oct 22, 2019 · Greg SieversA wonderful peaceful safe spot in a world where that is so greatly needed. It is my home and I would highly recommend it.
Aug 29, 2023 · David WatkinsUsed to be a wonderful place but new management thinks it is acceptable to shame someone with difficulty hearing about the volume of the news in the middle of the afternoon. If you are looking for a retirement community, probably hold off.
May 10, 2021 · C MeeseVery nice place to live in Seminole Mobile Estates, Beaverton Oregon USA.
