Sheridan Manufactured Home Community Introduce
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" or exploring mobile home living options in Arvada, Colorado, Sheridan Manufactured Home Community, located at 5305 Sheridan Boulevard, Arvada, CO 80002, USA, presents a residential community that, based on the limited but concerning online reviews, requires careful consideration and thorough investigation before making any decisions about residing there, whether in a mobile home or an RV for an extended stay.
The available reviews from residents of Sheridan Manufactured Home Community raise significant concerns regarding the fairness of management practices, parking availability, and overall community rules and enforcement. One long-term resident of five years expresses strong dissatisfaction, alleging unfair treatment based on their race. This reviewer states, "It is like Mexico if you are white don’t move here," and describes the office lady as a liar and very unfair. They provide specific examples, such as new fences being erected for some residents while their own request to put up a fence was denied. Additionally, they mention being required to get rid of their dog due to its size, while allegedly observing pit bulls and other large dogs within the community without similar enforcement. The reviewer also reports difficulty in obtaining the owner's contact information to address these issues and expresses a belief that the office lady is "very racist," further claiming that undocumented immigrants living in the community receive better treatment. This resident explicitly states their desire to move but lack of financial means is preventing them from doing so.
Another significant issue highlighted in the reviews is the severe lack of parking. A resident describes parking as a "huge issue" with "none" available. They report that attempting to park on the street leads to conflicts with other residents claiming those spots as their own due to proximity to their trailers. Parking near the office is also reportedly problematic due to residents double-parking, allegedly owning more than three vehicles per trailer. This lack of parking creates significant inconvenience for visitors, with the reviewer suggesting the need to use Uber or park across Sheridan Boulevard in a shopping center. Furthermore, this resident notes that office personnel are often unavailable on weekends, exacerbating the difficulties in addressing parking or other community issues.
Considering the platform category of "RV parks near me," these reviews present several red flags for individuals seeking extended RV stays. Parking is a fundamental requirement for RV living, and the reported severe lack of it at Sheridan Manufactured Home Community would create significant challenges for RV owners. The allegations of unfair and potentially discriminatory management practices could also lead to an uncomfortable and unwelcoming environment for RVers. The reported difficulty in contacting management, particularly on weekends, further suggests a lack of adequate support for residents and visitors alike.
The absence of any positive reviews or information about specific amenities or services at Sheridan Manufactured Home Community is also notable. Typically, mobile home and RV parks provide details about features such as utility hookups, laundry facilities, community areas, pet policies, and security measures. The sole focus of the available feedback on negative experiences with management and parking suggests that these are critical areas of concern that potential residents and RVers should carefully consider.
Given the serious nature of the allegations in both provided reviews, potential residents or extended-stay RVers should exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence before considering Sheridan Manufactured Home Community. This should include:
- Visiting the property in person: Observe the parking situation firsthand and assess the overall environment of the community.
- Attempting to speak with current residents (if possible): Seek direct and unbiased perspectives on the management, community rules enforcement, and parking situation. Be mindful that some residents might be hesitant to speak openly.
- Inquiring specifically about parking regulations and availability for both residents and visitors: Understand the official parking policies and assess if they seem reasonable and enforced fairly.
- Asking about pet policies and enforcement: Clarify the rules regarding pet sizes and breeds and inquire about how these rules are consistently applied across the community.
- Attempting to contact the owner or upper management to address the reported issues: While one resident reported difficulty obtaining this information, making an effort to reach higher management could provide additional insight.
It is important to acknowledge that online reviews represent individual experiences and may not reflect the entirety of the community. However, the specific and concerning nature of the issues raised in both reviews – allegations of racial bias, unfair rule enforcement, and severe parking problems – warrant careful consideration and further investigation by anyone considering residing at Sheridan Manufactured Home Community.
In the context of searching for "RV parks near me," individuals typically prioritize accessible parking, fair and consistent management, and a welcoming community environment. The negative feedback regarding Sheridan Manufactured Home Community directly contradicts these expectations. Therefore, potential RVers seeking an extended stay in Arvada would be well-advised to explore other RV parks with more positive reputations and a demonstrated commitment to fair management practices and adequate guest amenities, including parking.
In conclusion, while Sheridan Manufactured Home Community is located in Arvada, Colorado, the limited online reviews raise significant concerns about alleged unfair and potentially discriminatory management practices and severe parking issues. Potential residents and those searching for "RV parks near me" for extended stays are strongly urged to exercise extreme caution, conduct thorough independent investigation, and carefully weigh these reported experiences before making any decisions about residing in this community. Exploring alternative mobile home or RV park options in the Arvada area with more positive feedback regarding management and resident experience is highly recommended.

May 23, 2018 · Rosemarie GregoryParking is huge issue there is none!and when you try to park on street residents say it there spot since it's by their trailer and you can't park by office as residents double park since they own more than 3 vehicles per trailer! Have to come by Uber to visit or park across Sheridan in shopping center and office people aren't around when you need them on weekends.
Oct 05, 2020 · laly dThey are really strict there but that's what keeps it clean and presentable. Some mobile home parks look trashy and unkempt.
