Berkeley Village Mobile Home Introduce
Berkeley Village Mobile Home, situated at 5400 Sheridan Boulevard in Arvada, Colorado (80002, USA), is a residential community that may be of interest to individuals searching for 'RV parks near me' with a focus on longer-term stays. While primarily a mobile home park, it's possible that Berkeley Village accommodates RVs as well, offering a community environment for those seeking a more permanent or extended living arrangement in the Arvada area. The park can be contacted at (303) 455-0659 or +1 303-455-0659 for inquiries regarding residency and specific policies.
Based on the available customer reviews, it's important for prospective residents to be aware of potential concerns regarding the management and certain operational aspects of Berkeley Village Mobile Home. One reviewer expresses strong dissatisfaction with the owner's alleged focus on financial gain, citing frequent rent increases and unexpected water shut-offs, even during extremely cold weather conditions. This individual also reports a lack of maintenance on the park's roads, including a failure to plow them in winter, and describes the management as "very unprofessional." These comments suggest potential issues with the cost of living and the reliability of essential services within the community.
Another reviewer offers a somewhat contrasting perspective on the physical environment of the mobile home park, stating that it isn't "too bad" in terms of safety and cleanliness. However, this reviewer also expresses significant concerns about the management, labeling them as "bogus" and "hypocritical." They further suggest that residents who are not favored by the management, as well as their visitors, may experience differential treatment. This raises questions about fairness and consistency in the application of park rules and regulations.
A specific issue highlighted by a third reviewer pertains to parking for visitors. According to this account, parking on the street is strictly prohibited, and the management has an arrangement with a towing company that promptly removes vehicles parked in such areas, even if they are not obstructing anyone. This reviewer recounts a personal experience of being towed and incurring a $260 fee despite parking in a seemingly out-of-the-way location. Conversely, they note that vehicles belonging to individuals known to the management are seemingly permitted to park in the same manner without consequence, alleging a "double standard." This information is crucial for potential residents who anticipate having visitors, as it suggests a potentially strict and inconsistently enforced parking policy.
When considering 'RV parks near me' for a longer-term stay, the sense of community, the fairness of management, and the clarity and consistent enforcement of rules are often important factors. The reviews for Berkeley Village Mobile Home raise concerns in these areas. The allegations of rising rent, unexpected utility disruptions, and inconsistent application of parking rules could impact the quality of life for residents and their visitors. While one reviewer found the park to be generally safe and clean, the issues with management appear to be a significant point of contention.
For individuals exploring long-term RV living options in Arvada, it would be prudent to directly contact the management of Berkeley Village Mobile Home to seek clarification on the issues raised in the reviews. Inquiring about the current rental rates, the frequency and predictability of utility services (especially water), the park's policies regarding road maintenance and snow removal, and the specific rules concerning visitor parking would be essential. Understanding the process for addressing resident concerns and the overall management philosophy could also provide valuable insights.
Furthermore, prospective residents might consider visiting Berkeley Village Mobile Home to assess the environment and observe the community firsthand. While online reviews can offer valuable perspectives, a personal visit can provide a more tangible understanding of the park's atmosphere and the condition of the grounds. If possible, speaking with current residents (outside of the management's presence) could offer additional, unbiased perspectives on their experiences living in the community.
When searching within the category of 'RV parks near me' for a long-term residential option, it's important to weigh the potential benefits of a community setting against potential drawbacks such as those suggested in the reviews for Berkeley Village Mobile Home. Factors such as the availability of amenities (laundry facilities, communal spaces, etc.), the overall upkeep of the park, and the responsiveness of the management to resident needs are all important considerations. The information available online suggests that while the physical environment of Berkeley Village might be acceptable to some, the management practices and the consistency of services and rule enforcement appear to be areas of concern for multiple reviewers.
In conclusion, Berkeley Village Mobile Home in Arvada, Colorado, offers a residential option for those seeking a longer-term stay, potentially including RV owners. However, the available customer reviews highlight significant concerns regarding management practices, including rising rent, utility disruptions, inconsistent rule enforcement (particularly concerning visitor parking), and a lack of road maintenance. While one reviewer noted the park's relative safety and cleanliness, the prevailing sentiment in the provided feedback suggests potential challenges related to management and the overall living experience. Local users considering Berkeley Village as one of their 'RV parks near me' should exercise caution, conduct thorough due diligence by directly contacting the management with specific questions, and ideally visit the park to form their own assessment before making a decision.

Berkeley Village Mobile Home Reviews
Owner definitely is money hungry. Crazy rent prices keep going up and they randomly cut the water on the most unexpected days. it’s negative degrees outside and there’s currently no water??There’s still more. The roads aren’t ever taken care of or fixed. I thought an owner was supposed to plow the neighborhoods roads but apparently not. Very unprofessional management.
Jan 21, 2025 · Janet LomeliMobile park itself isn't too bad when it comes to safety and cleanliness, but their management is bogus - hypocritical. And if they don't like you, you'll know it and so will your visitors. You've gotta park in the driveway of who you're visiting; don't park on the street - they're in cahoots with a towing company that'll haul your car away in a heartbeat - ask me how I know. $260 bucks when I was way in the back out of anyone's way.Yet if you know the management, you'll be fine - double standard. Notice the vehicles in these pictures that are parked on the side like I was, yet they're not towed...
Mar 26, 2018 · JRClaybrookThe owner is money hungry!!! Most of the residents are on fixed incomes. In the last 2 years he has raised the lot rent nearly $200 a month and is going to raise it another $150, January of 2025. Residents like my family member, who are on fixed incomes, will be paying nearly $1,100 a month!!! That doesn't include any utilities, just the space! The park isn't kept up at all. Residents have to beg for anything to be maintained. Something has to be done!!!

Feb 28, 2025 · Sparrow JourneyI have lived here for almost 23 years. New management suck! I haven't had power since yesterday morning. Xcel checked, said it's trailer park issue. When an electrician finally showed up 6 hours later & numerous phone calls to Maria(manager), all he did with her on phone with him, was walk to my backyard, noticed trenches dug by maintenance man in neighbor behind me & south of me yards, went into my trailer to flip breaker(I told him already did that three times & didn't work) Again, he flipped breaker, didn't work & took off with nothing said to me & still no power! Been calling office since then & no response. Isn't it against the law for a landlord to withhold power from a resident when it's on their turf to fix? I'm sure it is & here I am still waiting to hear from them & still no power! I'm a single mom with two autistic daughters whom I will get back in the morning when their dad brings them to me(stay with him on weekends) & I have no power...What do you think of this place now???
