Sherwood Forest Mobile Home Introduce
For local residents in the Ringgold, Georgia area searching for "RV parks near me," Sherwood Forest Mobile Home, located at 54 Sherwood Forest Ln, Ringgold, GA 30736, USA, is a mobile home park that may also accommodate recreational vehicles seeking longer-term stays. As individuals explore options for residential RV living or simply search for suitable "RV parks near me," it is crucial to consider all available information to make an informed decision. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of Sherwood Forest Mobile Home based on the publicly available customer reviews, which present a mixed but concerning perspective on the park's management, services, and overall living experience.
The environment of Sherwood Forest Mobile Home appears to have both positive and negative aspects, according to the provided reviews. One long-term resident, who had lived there since February 2017, initially described the park as having "Nice neighbors, quiet on Fri and Sat nights. And beautiful, well kept grounds." This positive sentiment suggests that, at least until early 2022, the park offered a pleasant living environment with well-maintained aesthetics and a sense of community. The quiet weekends are also a notable positive for those seeking a peaceful residential setting among "RV parks near me" for longer stays.
However, this positive view is contrasted by more recent experiences under new management. The same long-term resident notes that "the new landlord as of Jan 2022 is greedy," citing significant and abrupt rent increases. This change in management appears to have negatively impacted the perceived affordability and value of living in the park. The substantial rent hikes, from $500 to $895 and then to $925 within a short period and without warning for the latter increase, raise concerns about the financial stability and fairness for residents, including those who might be considering it as one of their "RV parks near me" for long-term residential RV living.
The services and maintenance at Sherwood Forest Mobile Home also appear to be areas of concern based on the reviews. One resident reported that after lightning took out three kitchen outlets, maintenance refused to fix them, citing the 15-amp rating of the trailer's outlets. Similarly, a blown bedroom outlet was also not repaired. This suggests a reluctance or inability of the maintenance to address electrical issues within residents' homes or RVs, potentially compromising safety and convenience. Another resident mentioned having to purchase their own toilet parts due to persistent leaks from "cheap ones installed by maintenance," further indicating potential issues with the quality and responsiveness of the park's maintenance services.
The features of Sherwood Forest Mobile Home are not extensively detailed in the reviews. The mention of "well kept grounds" by a long-term resident suggests that the park did, at one point, prioritize the aesthetic upkeep of the common areas. However, the lack of information about specific amenities such as laundry facilities, communal spaces, or recreational areas makes it difficult to provide a comprehensive overview of the park's features relevant to those seeking "RV parks near me" for long-term living. The issues with maintenance responsiveness and the significant rent increases could overshadow any potentially positive features the park might offer.
The first review highlights a negative initial interaction with the park's management, stating that "Whoever answers the phone for the place is so rude. She instantly answered with a attitude and also ended the call with an attitude." This poor customer service during initial contact could deter potential residents, including those inquiring about RV sites, and suggests a lack of professionalism in the park's administration. This initial impression can be crucial for individuals exploring "RV parks near me" and forming their first opinions.
Promotional information is entirely absent from the provided reviews. Given the concerns raised about the new management's rent increases and the issues with maintenance and customer service, it is unlikely that there would be any positive promotions to highlight based solely on this data. In general, mobile home and RV parks might promote stable rental rates, well-maintained amenities, or a welcoming community atmosphere. However, the current information suggests that Sherwood Forest Mobile Home may be facing challenges in these areas under the new landlord.
The long-term resident's decision to move to SW GA where rents are more affordable further underscores the negative impact of the recent rent increases at Sherwood Forest Mobile Home. Their comment about the landlord having an office in NJ and lacking understanding of the local economic conditions in GA adds another layer of concern regarding the management's approach and responsiveness to the needs of the residents, including those in RVs seeking affordable long-term options among "RV parks near me."
In conclusion, based on the mixed but increasingly negative customer reviews, Sherwood Forest Mobile Home in Ringgold, GA, appears to be a community undergoing significant challenges under new management. While it may have previously offered a pleasant environment with well-kept grounds and quiet evenings, recent substantial rent increases, concerns about maintenance responsiveness, and reports of rude customer service present a concerning picture for prospective residents, including those searching for "RV parks near me" for long-term living. The lack of information about specific amenities and the negative trends in management and service suggest that potential residents should exercise caution and thoroughly investigate the current conditions of Sherwood Forest Mobile Home before making any decisions about residency.

Jan 02, 2025 · Chelsey ClarkI love this place! I've lived here since Feb 2017. Nice neighbors, quiet on Fri and Sat nights. And beautiful, well kept grounds. Unfortunately, the new landlord as of Jan 2022 is greedy. Our rent went up from $500 to $895 in Aug. Now, with our Oct payment and no warning, $925.Lightning took out three outlets in our kitchen. Maintenance told me they would not be fixing these. Because all the outlets in our 2014 trailer are 15 amp, the one I blew in the bedroom from plugging in too many things wasn't fixed, either. Now we count amps before plugging in our devices. We had to buy our own toilet parts because the cheap ones installed by maintenance STILL leaked. We are moving to SW GA where rents are affordable. Landlord has an office in NJ across the river from Manhattan. They have no clue how things are here in GA or how low-income folks are who live here. Yes, I am angry, but all the things I am telling you are true.
Oct 03, 2022 · Dannis ColePut in an application and now they called me to say I owe money I HAVE NEVER LIVED THERE SO SOMEONE IS IN BIG TROUBLE I WILL BE CONTACTING CORPORATE!!!! Scam WHAT SOME SCAM ARTIST!!! I put the application in over three years ago so I will be contacting the authorities and filing a police report!!!
Oct 10, 2024 · LCNEVER MOVE HERE!I lived here until mid-May and it wasn't until the new management from New Jersey that I had any problems. Was paying $500 a month and the new management upped it to $1000. When we moved out they said that month to month was going to be upped to $1200.We had three outlets go out in the kitchen/living room and had to put the microwave on a camping table to reach an outlet! These guys didn't even have a maintenance man until the first week of May! Also you can forget about getting anything back from them because of trash. Doesn't matter if you left the trailer clean and reported everything they will not give anything back. These guys live in New Jersey and run the park through a manager. They've run through 4 managers and one was a criminal that stole thousands of dollars from the park. The other three just up and quit one after another in a month! They never answer emails and good luck getting them over the phone. You'd be better off at one of the other trailer parks. These guys are vampires and will treat you like a mobile blood bank. Run away and never move here!Sincerely,A very disgruntled and stressed out former tenant
Aug 05, 2023 · Arisperwin AnyaThis used to be a decent place to live. The current owners who purchased the Trailer Park 2 years ago have raised the cost to live here by 50% or more. There are also rules that make you feel like you're living in an HOA, like one piece of trash getting blown on you're lot by a strong wind while you're at work and then the Manager seeing it and adding $50 to your rent. Most lots here are $775 to $1300 a month, and that doesn't include trash pickup, water or sewage which can be around $120 or more together each month and you must pay those along with your rent or get evicted. So basically, $900 - $1400 a month.
