For those in the 'RV Parks Near Me' category who might be considering a long-term residential option in a manufactured home community within the Kodak area, Smoky Ridge presents itself as a potentially welcoming and well-maintained place to live. You can reach them at (865) 932-1394 or via their mobile number +1 865-932-1394 for inquiries about residency and home availability.
Based on the limited but positive customer feedback available online, Smoky Ridge Manufactured Home Community appears to offer a pleasant living environment. One long-term resident of seven years describes it as a "nice park to live in" and considers it "home," indicating a sense of belonging and satisfaction with the community. This resident also highlights that the park is "well maintained," suggesting that the management takes pride in the upkeep of the grounds and infrastructure. An especially attractive feature mentioned is the "million dollar view," implying that the location offers scenic vistas, which could significantly enhance the quality of life for residents who appreciate natural beauty.
Another reviewer echoes the positive sentiment, describing the people as "nice" and the workers as "friendly." This suggests a welcoming and neighborly atmosphere within the community, which can be a significant factor in resident satisfaction and overall quality of life. The reviewer also mentions their intention to acquire a trailer in the community, pending a background check, indicating that Smoky Ridge Manufactured Home Community offers opportunities for individuals to purchase and reside in manufactured homes within the park.
Considering the platform category 'RV Parks Near Me,' it's important to clarify that Smoky Ridge is identified as a "Manufactured Home Community," which typically differs from a traditional RV park. While some manufactured home communities might accommodate RVs on a long-term basis, their primary focus is usually on providing a residential setting for manufactured homes that are often owner-occupied and situated on leased land. The amenities and services offered in a manufactured home community are generally geared towards longer-term living and may not include the same short-term focused amenities often found in RV parks (e.g., daily rates, recreational vehicle hookups for short stays, communal recreational facilities for transient guests).
However, for individuals within the 'RV Parks Near Me' search who are open to the idea of long-term residency in a manufactured home, or who might be seeking a location to place their own manufactured home (if permitted by Smoky Ridge), the positive aspects highlighted in the reviews make this community worth exploring further. The mention of a "well maintained park" suggests attention to landscaping, infrastructure, and overall cleanliness, which are important factors for long-term residents.
The "million dollar view" is a significant feature that could attract individuals who value scenic surroundings. Kodak, Tennessee, is located in close proximity to the Great Smoky Mountains, known for their stunning natural beauty. While the specific nature and accessibility of this view from within the community are not detailed, it implies a potentially tranquil and visually appealing environment for residents.
The friendly nature of the residents and workers, as mentioned in the reviews, contributes to a positive community atmosphere. A welcoming and supportive environment can enhance social connections and overall well-being for those living in the park. For individuals relocating to the Kodak area, the prospect of joining a friendly community can be particularly appealing.
The fact that one reviewer is in the process of acquiring a trailer within Smoky Ridge suggests that the community has processes in place for individuals to purchase and become residents. This might involve background checks and other standard procedures for ensuring a safe and harmonious living environment for all residents. Those interested in purchasing a manufactured home and residing in Smoky Ridge should inquire about the available homes, the process of purchase, the lease terms for the land, and any community guidelines or regulations.
To gain a more comprehensive understanding of Smoky Ridge Manufactured Home Community, prospective residents should contact the management directly using the provided phone numbers. Inquiries should focus on aspects such as the availability of homes for purchase or lease, the cost of lot rental, the utilities included or billed separately, the pet policy, any community amenities (e.g., clubhouses, laundry facilities, recreational areas), and the rules and regulations of the community. It would also be beneficial to ask about the "million dollar view" – where it is best enjoyed from within the community and its accessibility to residents.
A visit to Smoky Ridge Manufactured Home Community would provide an opportunity to personally assess the maintenance of the park, the friendliness of the residents and staff, and the potential for enjoying the scenic views. Observing the overall environment and the types of homes within the community can help prospective residents determine if it aligns with their lifestyle and preferences for long-term living. Speaking with current residents, if possible, could offer additional insights into the day-to-day experience of living in the community.
In conclusion, Smoky Ridge Manufactured Home Community in Kodak, TN, appears to be a well-maintained and friendly residential park, potentially offering scenic views. While it primarily caters to manufactured homes and long-term residency, those in the 'RV Parks Near Me' category who are open to this type of living arrangement, or who are seeking a place for a manufactured home, should consider exploring Smoky Ridge further. Direct contact with the management and a visit to the community are recommended to gather detailed information and experience the environment firsthand.

Jan 18, 2025 · Hunter HortonWe have lived here several years and are just as pleased with our choice to move here as we were the day we moved in. It's a nice community that is accessible to everything the mountain life has to offer but still feels tucked away from it all. Sara, the property manager, always greets you with a smile and does her best to resolve any issues. She and Daniel take pride in this neighborhood. They also encourage residents to keep their homes and lot beautiful. It's a great place to live!
Jun 09, 2020 · Lori YorkI’m writing this letter in appreciation for Sara at Smoky Ridge. We have lived in our Trailer here in Kodak Tn. For 1 week. From the day we spoke to Sara on the phone about buying a Trailer from Smoky Ridge she has been a perfect example of a property manager. She is always there for you any time of day with the most positive and lovely attitude. We have lived in Alabama our whole lives with several different property managers,Never have we had one as extraordinary as Sara. She is never too busy and she makes even the smallest problems a priority. Not only does Sara care for her tenants but the owners and the complex as well. She is constantly making our complex safer and pleasant every day/week/month. She respects all of us the same and allows us to feel like a community. Because of the wonderful people Sara chooses to rent/sale to, we can say it’s the best choice we have made by buying here within Smoky Ridge
