Lakeway RV Park Introduce
If you're a local user in search of "RV Parks Near Me" in the Kodak, Tennessee area, Lakeway RV Park, situated at 1051 Douglas Dam Rd, Kodak, TN 37764, USA, is one option you might come across. They can be contacted at (865) 548-7707 or via their mobile number +1 865-548-7707. While specific details about the park's environment, services, and features are not extensively available, recent customer reviews provide some crucial insights that potential visitors should consider.
One of the primary concerns raised in the customer feedback pertains to the park's pet policy. A reviewer expressed frustration with what they perceived as an "absurd" policy that allows certain dog breeds while restricting others. This individual was unable to bring their well-behaved 55 lb. Heeler, indicating a potentially restrictive policy based on breed or size. For local RV owners who travel with pets, particularly those with breeds that might be on restricted lists at some parks, it is imperative to inquire directly with Lakeway RV Park about their specific pet policy before making any plans.
Another significant issue highlighted in the reviews concerns the park's stance on long-term stays. One customer stated that despite the park's sign and website allegedly indicating "long term" availability, they were informed upon inquiry that long-term residents were not desired, although parking an RV long-term might be permissible. This discrepancy between advertised information and actual policy led the reviewer to label it as "lies and false advertisement," causing inconvenience for travelers relying on accurate information for their living arrangements. For local users seeking long-term RV parking options in the area, this feedback suggests a potential inconsistency in Lakeway RV Park's stated and actual long-term stay policies, warranting careful verification.
Given the nature of the available reviews, it is challenging to provide a detailed and objective introduction to the environment, services, and features of Lakeway RV Park. The feedback primarily focuses on policy-related issues rather than the physical attributes of the park, the amenities offered, or the overall atmosphere. Information regarding the types of RV sites available (e.g., pull-thru, back-in), the hookup options (e.g., water, electricity, sewer), the presence and condition of facilities such as restrooms, showers, laundry, Wi-Fi, or recreational areas is not provided in the given reviews.
For local users considering Lakeway RV Park based on its proximity ("RV Parks Near Me"), it is strongly recommended to directly contact the park management at the provided phone numbers to seek clarification on their current pet policy, their availability and terms for long-term stays, and to inquire about the specific amenities and services offered. Understanding the breed and size restrictions for pets is crucial for pet owners. Similarly, clarifying the actual policy regarding long-term parking and residency is essential for those seeking extended stays.
Furthermore, when contacting Lakeway RV Park, it would be beneficial to ask about the environment of the park. Inquire about the layout, the types of surroundings (e.g., wooded, open), the proximity to Douglas Dam or other local attractions, and any specific features that might enhance the camping experience. Understanding the general ambiance and setting can help local users determine if it aligns with their preferences.
Due to the limited and negative focus of the available reviews, it is not possible to ascertain any unique features or potential promotional offers associated with Lakeway RV Park. The feedback centers on concerns regarding pet policies and misleading information about long-term stays, which overshadow any potential positives that the park might offer. Therefore, local users should be prepared to conduct thorough inquiries to gain a balanced perspective.
In conclusion, for local users searching for "RV Parks Near Me" in Kodak, Tennessee, Lakeway RV Park presents a situation where recent customer feedback raises significant concerns regarding its pet policy and the accuracy of its claims about long-term stays. Potential visitors, especially those with specific dog breeds or those seeking long-term parking options, are strongly advised to contact the park directly to obtain clear and current information on these critical aspects, as well as details about the park's amenities, services, and environment. The limited information available suggests that careful due diligence is necessary before making a decision to stay at Lakeway RV Park.

Lakeway RV Park Reviews
The fact that they allow certain dogs and not others is absurd. My heeler is the most laid back living creature, but I can't bring my 55 lb. furkid!
Jun 06, 2023 · Grace RobertsWhat a joke. Their sign and website clearly says long term and that is a lie. They think it’s ok to put that and then tell people they don’t want long term residence but you can park your rv there long term. How ridiculous. Take down your no good sign and change your website. Stop wasting peoples time. We travel for a living and when searching we don’t have time for LIES and false advertisement!!!!!!
