Southern Comfort Air Ranch Introduce
Welcome to Southern Comfort Air Ranch, a mobile home park situated in Parkton, NC, and a potential consideration for those searching for "RV Parks Near Me" looking for a long-term stay. Located at Little Marsh Rd, Parkton, NC 28371, USA, this community offers a rural and spacious environment for its residents.
Southern Comfort Air Ranch is set on an expansive property, noted by residents as a "300-acre paradise" or "300 acre ranch." This substantial acreage contributes to a tranquil and private atmosphere. The area is described as a "nice quiet country road," with "beautiful countryside and lots of trees." This rural setting provides a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle, appealing to those who appreciate a serene lifestyle. While the exact acreage dedicated to RV parking is not explicitly detailed in the provided information, the overall vastness of the property suggests ample space and a less congested environment compared to many urban or suburban parks. It's important to note that the property also includes an airplane hangar with a lighted private FAA-approved runway, indicating a unique aspect to the "Air Ranch" name, though its direct relevance to mobile home or RV residents' daily lives isn't specified beyond contributing to the overall character of the property.
For mobile home residents, and potentially for long-term RV residents, Southern Comfort Air Ranch offers several key amenities. These include utilities such as water, sewer, and garbage services, which are often included in the rental cost, simplifying budgeting for residents. Individual units, as seen in descriptions of available mobile homes, may feature air conditioning, refrigerators, stoves, and ovens, providing essential modern comforts. Some properties also indicate laundry room hookups, offering the convenience of in-home laundry. The overall emphasis for rentals appears to be on providing a clean and modern living space. While not explicitly detailed as a typical RV park, the inclusion of essential utilities and the expansive land could make it suitable for permanent or extended RV stays if such options are offered by the management. It is always recommended to confirm specific RV services and amenities directly with the property management.
The community at Southern Comfort Air Ranch presents a mixed picture based on resident feedback. One long-term resident expressed significant satisfaction, highlighting the "quiet area" and praising the landlord, Taz, as "great," having lived there for three years with "no plans on leaving anytime soon." This perspective suggests a stable and content living experience for some. The general sentiment from positive reviews points to a desire for a "refreshingly serene lifestyle" and an appreciation for the clean and modern amenities. However, another extensive review paints a starkly different image. This feedback raises concerns about safety, citing "break ins from the local kids in the park" and police involvement due to altercations. Issues with property maintenance, such as "trash on the property," and a lack of enforcement regarding noise ("no curfew for loud noises such as parties outside or music blasting inside a house") were also mentioned. The responsiveness of management to maintenance requests, particularly for critical issues like AC malfunctions, was severely criticized, with long delays reported. This review also points to a perceived lack of regular landlord or property owner presence, except during move-out, and a lack of post-natural disaster checks. Concerns were also raised about the pricing of trailers, with claims of discrepancies between rental rates for new and existing tenants, and difficulties in retrieving security deposits, often citing alleged damages without transparent justification. The process of returning keys and switching addresses was also described as problematic. These varying accounts underscore the importance for prospective residents, particularly those seeking a spot in "RV Parks Near Me," to conduct thorough due diligence, including direct communication with management and, if possible, speaking with current residents to gain a comprehensive understanding of the living environment.
While specific promotional offers are not available, the overall appeal of Southern Comfort Air Ranch for those seeking "RV Parks Near Me" or a mobile home community lies in its vast, rural setting, offering a sense of peace and space. The inclusion of core utilities (water, sewer, garbage) with rentals is a notable benefit. For those interested in long-term stays, the established mobile home park structure could provide a more stable and permanent option compared to transient RV campgrounds. Potential residents should be aware that the property is described as "car-dependent," meaning most errands will require a vehicle, and public transit is minimal. The area is somewhat bikeable. The proximity to Parkton Elementary, Saint Pauls High, and Psrc Early College At Rcc (which receives high ratings) may be a factor for families considering schools. Military bases, including Fort Bragg Manchester, are within a reasonable driving distance. It is crucial for anyone considering Southern Comfort Air Ranch to directly contact the management, listed as having a contact number of 910-670-2795 and email david@mailtpa.com, to inquire about current availability, specific terms for mobile home rentals or RV spaces, pricing, lease agreements, and to address any concerns regarding community management or policies. This direct engagement will provide the most accurate and up-to-date information for making an informed decision, especially given the varied resident experiences.

Southern Comfort Air Ranch Reviews
Love living here. Landlord Taz is great....quiet area..Been here 3 years!!! No plans on leaving anytime soon. My 300 acre paradise!!
Feb 09, 2018 · Christine HopsonI gave this a 0 star review due to fact of there has been break ins from the local kids in the park, cops coming in due to one of the kids hitting the others with rocks and or sticks along with slapping. Looking back at living here I noticed trash on the property, no curfew for loud noises such as parties outside or music blasting inside a house, and how long it takes for something inside or outside the house to get fixed. For example, I had something wrong with my ac, which is a safety hazard where if I had kids they would be put in the hospital due to how it was passed 90 degrees inside in the house. One thing that is common when moving into this neighborhood is you never see the landlord, and the property owner. The only time they would come see you is when you move out and that is it. Taz or David would not double check after a natural disaster to see if everyone is alright, or to see if the people who fix something does their jobs right. And they would price these trailers WAY TOO HIGH. We paid $575 for a three bedroom two bath, but when we moved out and had the walk through with Taz, a person was looking for a trailer. He was telling them about two trailers that were open one down the road from us and ours. He told them that our old house was $585 instead of $575 like how we were staying there. So he was basically ripping them off. And I must warn you this. When you move out he is going to ask for copies of the house key with the original and the mail box key (he stated to us that’s the only key he had for the mail box) So it’s going to be a longer process until the old address gets switched over. Lastly, don’t hold your breath on getting a deposit back either. He would say something in the house that’s broken would cost him about $100 or so dollars. And that when moving you should have gave him a 30 day notice too, but that was what David was telling Taz over the phone. So if you can keep looking other places to live.
Aug 21, 2017 · RoseIn 2011 and 2012 i lived here at 329 southern comfort drive, to be honest that is where i found myself. Anyway, i really loved it, the house was beautiful and so was the place in general. The landlord that was there when i lived there his name was David, he was amazing to me, he let me help out at his ranch since i moved there, he didnt stay at his house there a lot at alll, but when he visited he always was cool, showed me his cool airplane, he was nice. Anyway while i lived there thanks to the people there, including my mom, and just about everyone there taught me a lot and belived in me, my family and friends. Riding horses all the time, after school and somtimes before if i could lol. on the weekends, and a lot, lol, helping with the goats and animals in general, helping with the hay bales, and just helping wiht pretty much it all. Loved, it i recomend living there because of its beauty, peace, and everything is so great there. If i had the chance to see pics of that house agian i would love it, if i had the chance in general the go there agian i would, i moved in 2012 because of an incident that happened while i was on vacation seeing my dad and other family.
