Stepping Stone Mobile Home Community Introduce
For local users in the Neosho, Missouri area exploring options under the category of "RV parks near me" or seeking a mobile home community for long-term residency, Stepping Stone Mobile Home Community, located at 13600 Quince Rd Unit 23, Neosho, MO 64850, USA, presents a residential option to consider. You can reach them at (417) 553-9898 or via mobile phone at +1 417-553-9898 for inquiries.
Based on the limited information available, primarily from customer reviews, it is important to approach an evaluation of Stepping Stone Mobile Home Community with careful consideration of the experiences shared by its residents. One review indicates a past positive experience with neighbors between 2020 and 2022, suggesting that a sense of community may have existed at some point. The reviewer also mentioned enjoying their time there with children, indicating that the community may have been family-friendly.
However, the same review details a significantly negative experience following a change in management in May 2022. The reviewer recounts being served an eviction notice shortly after the loss of their spouse, alleging that the new management was uncompassionate and insisted on immediate payment of a specific amount rather than offering payment arrangements, despite the previous understanding of rent being current. This paints a picture of potentially challenging interactions with the management during a vulnerable time for a resident.
Another, more recent review expresses significant concerns regarding the living conditions within the community. This resident, who had lived there for over a year and a half, describes their home as being "full of black mold" and reports that the air conditioning and heating systems have never functioned. Furthermore, they mention issues with floors caving in and a lack of water supply following an ice storm. This review extends these concerns to the entire community, stating that "every trailer here has black mold" and alleging that management has altered leases without prior notification. The reviewer strongly advises against living in the community, particularly for families with children or elderly individuals, citing the potential health risks associated with the reported mold infestation.
The contrasting nature of these reviews, with one recalling a period of positive community and the other detailing severe issues with living conditions and management practices, suggests a potentially significant shift in the environment and management of Stepping Stone Mobile Home Community over time. The more recent review paints a concerning picture of the current living conditions, particularly regarding the presence of black mold and the functionality of essential utilities like water and HVAC systems. These are critical factors for anyone considering long-term residency and would likely deter those seeking suitable "RV parks near me" if these conditions extend to any potential RV sites within the community.
The review also mentions that the community is now considered "too costly," although without specific pricing details, it is difficult to assess the value proposition relative to the reported living conditions. This sentiment, however, combined with the serious maintenance and health concerns raised, suggests that the perceived cost does not align with the quality of living experienced by at least one current resident.
Given the gravity of the issues raised in the more recent review, including allegations of widespread black mold, malfunctioning essential systems, and unilateral lease changes, prospective residents and RV travelers should exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence before considering Stepping Stone Mobile Home Community. It would be prudent to independently verify the current living conditions, the functionality of utilities, and the management's responsiveness to resident concerns.
For individuals specifically searching within the "RV parks near me" category, the information available does not explicitly detail the availability or condition of RV sites at Stepping Stone Mobile Home Community. However, the serious concerns raised about the general living conditions and management practices within the mobile home community would warrant significant caution before considering it as a potential RV park option. The presence of widespread mold and issues with basic utilities could negatively impact the health and comfort of RV travelers as well.
In conclusion, while Stepping Stone Mobile Home Community may have offered a more positive environment in the past, recent feedback highlights significant concerns regarding living conditions, particularly the presence of black mold and issues with essential utilities. The management's handling of a past eviction also raises questions about their responsiveness and empathy towards residents. For local users seeking "RV parks near me" or long-term mobile home residency in Neosho, Missouri, it is strongly recommended to conduct thorough personal investigation and seek current information from multiple sources before making any decisions regarding Stepping Stone Mobile Home Community. The discrepancies between past and present experiences underscore the importance of up-to-date and comprehensive information when evaluating potential living situations.

Stepping Stone Mobile Home Community Reviews
I'm only giving 2 stars because my late husband and I lived there from 2020 to 2022 and we had good neighbors and not so good neighbors.Right after I witnessed losing my husband drown May29th 2022 the day after his body was retrieved May 30th 2022. Then after his viewing I find out they were evicting me cause they were under new management to a woman she wasnt nice at all the guy before her was and I was told by my late husband that we had rent caught up was told we didnt by the new management she didnt care at all said come up with certain amount or vacate( instead of saying you can make payments and keep your place )That was a nightmare. It was a good place to be at kiddos and I enjoyed being there oh well. Now too costly
Jan 17, 2025 · Mary FrazierThe community itself is not bad but the living conditions are horrible. I've lived here for over a year and a half here and my home is full of black mold the air and heat has never worked the floors are caving in ohh yea and there is no water since the ice storm every trailer here has black mold and management will change your lease without notice. Way too much to be wasting on such trash and what about the kids and all the mold they inhale? Think about that this is a dangerous place to live if u have kids or older people. Most of the people are great but we are all paying to live in mold that can kill us.
Feb 06, 2024 · Dean WelterThe property Manager Heather has been one of the best I have ever dealt with. Not only does she do everything in her power to fix any problems or issues. She is always kind and curiosities, when she talks to you, when she talks to you and makes you feel like a valid person.
Apr 18, 2023 · Angela SummersNeighbors were good puerile but the landlords awful. When they changed management they ditched me and my kiddos lying about rent etc. Screwed me in the long run when I lost my husband due to drowning they didn't even try to work with me.Don't ever go through this place. Not worth it or the money
Oct 03, 2023 · Mary FrazierI do enjoy living here, the property management is super helpful at all times! There of course can be improvements but I’m hopeful that with the new ownership and management that the changes will happen!
