Sundial RV Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Peoria, Arizona area, Sundial RV Park, located at 9250 N 75th Ave, Peoria, AZ 85345, USA, presents a somewhat complex picture based on the available customer reviews. While some reviewers praise its cleanliness, maintenance, and location, others express concerns about management, park layout, and specific policies.
Situated on North 75th Avenue in Peoria, Sundial RV Park benefits from its location within the Phoenix metropolitan area. Peoria offers a suburban environment with access to various amenities, including shopping, dining, and recreational opportunities. The park's proximity to Grand Avenue (likely referring to US-60) is highlighted as a significant advantage, providing easy access to other parts of Phoenix and the surrounding region. This convenient location could be a major draw for travelers and those looking to explore the wider area.
One enthusiastic reviewer describes Sundial RV Park as a "fantastic place to stay!" They were immediately impressed by the cleanliness, quiet atmosphere, and overall well-maintained condition of the park. The staff is lauded for being "incredibly friendly and helpful," ensuring a smooth check-in process and attending to the guests' needs. The reviewer also notes the recent renovation of the park roads, which enhances the well-kept appearance. The RV sites are described as spacious with full hookups, and the desert views, particularly at sunset, are mentioned as a beautiful feature. The combination of a peaceful setting and a welcoming community atmosphere leads this reviewer to highly recommend Sundial RV Park.
However, another reviewer presents a more critical perspective. They describe the manager as a "grouch" and report issues with accessing the laundry facilities due to a missing or unprovided fob. This reviewer, with experience in the lodging industry, suggests that the park's high rates and extensive rules (six pages) should be matched by excellent service and management. They express disappointment with the manager's alleged failure to uphold their part of the bargain. The description of the grounds as "pavement, dirt and concrete" is less appealing, and the reviewer specifically questions the installation of concrete areas that RVs are supposedly not allowed to drive on, even near the office. While acknowledging the presence of "a few trees and many young oleanders" and a "very nice" courtyard with artificial grass and furniture, this review presents a less idyllic picture of the park's environment and management.
Adding another layer to the feedback, a third reviewer expresses concern regarding a policy requiring even overnight guests to have "newer RVs" (theirs being brand new), while noting that many long-term residents throughout the park have "some pretty shabby units." This perceived inconsistency in enforcing RV age standards raises questions about fairness and potentially prioritizing aesthetics over the comfort and convenience of all guests. The suggestion to group and separate older, less aesthetically pleasing units indicates a potential visual disparity within the park that might be off-putting to some visitors.
Considering these mixed reviews in the context of searching for "RV parks near me," Sundial RV Park offers both attractive qualities and potential drawbacks. The cleanliness, recent infrastructure improvements (roads), spacious full hookup sites, and convenient location near Grand Avenue are definite positives. The desert views are also a noted amenity.
However, the negative feedback regarding the manager's demeanor and service, the somewhat uninviting description of the grounds (pavement, dirt, concrete), and the seemingly inconsistent RV age policy are factors that potential residents should carefully consider. The discrepancy between the positive experiences of some and the negative experiences of others suggests that individual experiences at Sundial RV Park might vary.
As a typical RV park, Sundial would likely offer essential services such as water, sewer, and electrical hookups at each site. Laundry facilities are mentioned, although access might be restricted by a fob system. The "very nice" courtyard suggests the presence of a communal outdoor space for residents to relax. While not explicitly stated, other common RV park amenities might include Wi-Fi access, restrooms and showers, and possibly some recreational facilities, although the reviews do not confirm these.
To gain a comprehensive understanding of Sundial RV Park, prospective residents are strongly encouraged to contact the park directly at (623) 979-1921 or +1 623-979-1921. Key questions to ask the management should include:
- Details about the RV age policy and how it is enforced for both overnight and long-term guests.
- Information about accessing amenities such as laundry facilities, including any required fobs or access procedures.
- A clear description of the grounds and the areas where RVs are permitted to drive and park.
- The specific services and amenities offered, such as Wi-Fi, restrooms, showers, or recreational facilities.
- Rates for RV sites, including daily, weekly, or monthly options, and what utilities are included.
- The park's rules and regulations, especially the "six pages of rules" mentioned in one review, to understand the expectations for residents.
- Pet policies, if applicable.
A personal visit to Sundial RV Park would also be highly beneficial. This would allow potential residents to assess the cleanliness and maintenance of the park firsthand, observe the layout of the grounds, and get a feel for the overall atmosphere. If possible, interacting with current residents could provide additional insights into the management style and the day-to-day living experience at the park.
In conclusion, Sundial RV Park in Peoria, Arizona, offers a convenient location, clean environment, and spacious sites with full hookups, as praised by some reviewers. However, potential residents should also be aware of concerns raised about management, park layout, and the RV age policy. Thoroughly researching and directly contacting the park management with specific questions is crucial to determine if Sundial RV Park aligns with individual needs and expectations when searching for "RV parks near me." A personal visit is also recommended to form a well-rounded opinion.

Sundial RV Park Reviews
Sundial RV Park is a fantastic place to stay! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, quiet, and well-maintained everything was. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, making check-in a breeze and ensuring we had everything we needed. The roads through the park were recently redone and look great, which adds to the overall well-kept feel of the place. The sites are spacious with full hookups, and the desert views are absolutely beautiful—especially at sunset. One of the best things is the location—being so close to Grand Avenue makes it easy to get anywhere in Phoenix. It’s a peaceful spot with a welcoming community atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Apr 15, 2025 · Emma DeHererraThe manager is a grouch and didn’t provide the fob we needed to access the building for laundry or tell us we needed one. We ran lodging for 8.5 years and understand how difficult something like this can be. I think if you’re going charge a bit much and expect guests to follow six pages of rules, you need 100% hold up your part of the bargain. The grounds are pavement, dirt and concrete (which you’re not supposed to drive on, even by the office. Who installs concrete that you can’t drive on AT ALL, in an RV park?) There are a few trees and many young oleanders, which bloomed during our visit. The courtyard is very nice, with artificial grass and some furniture.I have a little trouble with the policy of even overnight guests needing a newer RV (Ours is brand new.), when probably half the long term renters spread throughout the grounds, have some pretty shabby units. Really?? Maybe those should’ve been grouped and separated.
Mar 28, 2025 · Edie DafoeI’m very sad about this. The place is nice but be very very careful when signing their contract I had to put $400 down to save a spot. The reason for the spot was my home sold, One week before signing, my buyers backed out of my offer. I was very devastated on that so when I called to cancel my spot, I was hoping that I could get at least half of it back due to the circumstances I’m a senior citizen and I live off my Social Security and a part-time job. So when I do sell my house again, I will not be staying at this facility. The staff in the office was very nice, but they made $400 off a person that lives from month to month.
Apr 11, 2025 · Debbie PattersonWe have lived in this rv park for almost a year! We planned on living here until we bought a a house. 🙂 I have two young kids and this place was great for kids! We’ve had two canopies up and old management also told us my kids could have their jump house out as long as I put it away and night. New management came in and made everyone sign new lease agreements with new rules. We understood why because the park needs some cleaning up. She told my boyfriend we needed to take our white parking canopy down. He argued with her as to why because we’ve been allowed to have it up the entire time and she said she’d get back to him about it. Which she never did. She emailed him a 7 day warning to take it down and he doesn’t check his emails 🥲 so she literally left a 10 day eviction notice on our door. Our neighbor received the same letter and she let him make it right and stay. But not us all because she had an issue with my boyfriend “playing games” with her which is the exact words of the young guy in the office. I’m beyond sad. We’ve been great renters, we have a 2024 nice rig, we kept our space clean, paid everything on time. The worst kind of manager is one who likes to ruin peoples lives by proving “who’s boss”. We’ve became friends with most of the long time people in there and it was sad to hear them all say they are scared to get kicked out. I woke up sad for my kids this morning. No one deserves to be evicted from somewhere the called home over a canopy. I really hope the owners realize she is going to run away business. She’s a VERY mean lady.
Mar 31, 2025 · Ashley MarieSundial is a great little rv community, it’s always quiet and clean and the location is amazing! It’s close to all the highways and things to do without being on top of each other in the city. Absolutely worth the time to visit!
