Three Seasons Mobile Home Village Introduce
For local users seeking information about housing options, including potential "RV parks near me" that might accommodate mobile homes or offer similar community living environments, this overview focuses on Three Seasons Mobile Home Village, located at 6121 Collins Rd in Jacksonville, Florida. It's important to note that while the platform category is "RV parks near me," the subject of this introduction is a mobile home park. Therefore, the information provided will focus on its context as a residential community for mobile homes, while still being relevant to users exploring various housing possibilities in the area.
The available information regarding Three Seasons Mobile Home Village presents a stark contrast between past experiences and more recent accounts. One long-term former resident, who lived on Collins Road in the early 1970s, recalls a "wonderful" community. Their memories highlight positive aspects such as a recreation room equipped with amenities like a pinball machine and pool table, a consistently open and maintained swimming pool, and an on-site lot manager who was readily available when needed. This paints a picture of a well-managed and enjoyable environment for residents, particularly for families and young people growing up in the community during that era.
However, this positive historical perspective is sharply juxtaposed with a more recent and deeply concerning review. This more contemporary account alleges a significant decline in the quality of life and management of Three Seasons Mobile Home Village. The reviewer makes serious accusations, including the use of "fake licenses" in connection with claims of being bought out by Oakwood. It's stated that these issues have been repeatedly reported by the local news outlet, 4 Jax, focusing on alleged "crimes, fraud, scamming people" through purported mobile home sales where down payments were allegedly stolen.
Furthermore, the recent review claims that advertised amenities, specifically "the pool and amenities they state You're paying Your lot rent for," are "never open." This directly contradicts the earlier positive memory of a consistently available and maintained pool. The more recent account also alleges financial mismanagement, with residents being "double charge" compared to their original lease agreements and facing "new fake charges" that significantly increase their housing costs. These allegations, if accurate, would represent a severe breach of trust and potentially exploitative practices.
The more recent review expresses particular concern for the treatment of "Many Elderly and Disabled Citizens" within the park over the past few years. The language used, such as "treated horribly," suggests significant neglect, disrespect, or unfair practices affecting vulnerable residents. The reviewer expresses hope that the City of Jacksonville will intervene again to help these residents, indicating that this may not be the first time external authorities have been called upon to address issues within the community. The poignant question, "Is there any Humanity in this Park For These Elderly At All???" underscores the depth of the distress and concern raised in this account.
Considering these two drastically different perspectives, it is crucial for local users exploring housing options to approach Three Seasons Mobile Home Village with significant caution and to conduct thorough due diligence. The positive memories from the early 1970s, while valuable for historical context, may not reflect the current reality of the community as described in the more recent and highly critical review.
The serious allegations of fraud, financial exploitation, and neglect of elderly and disabled residents are particularly concerning and warrant careful investigation by any potential residents. The claim that advertised amenities are consistently unavailable would also significantly impact the quality of life for those paying lot rent that presumably covers these facilities.
Given the nature of the allegations, it is strongly recommended that local users considering Three Seasons Mobile Home Village as a potential residence take the following steps:
- **Verify Management Claims:** Independently verify any claims of ownership changes or affiliations with other companies, such as Oakwood. Contacting the mentioned company directly or checking official property records could be informative.
- **Investigate Local News Reports:** Research the news outlet 4 Jax for any reports or investigations related to Three Seasons Mobile Home Village to understand the specifics of the alleged crimes, fraud, and scams.
- **Inquire About Amenities:** If amenities like a pool or recreation room are important, directly inquire about their current operational status, maintenance schedules, and accessibility for residents. Request to see these facilities in person.
- **Review Lease Agreements Carefully:** If considering residency, meticulously review all lease terms, fees, and potential for additional charges. Seek legal advice if anything is unclear or concerning.
- **Talk to Current Residents:** If possible, speak with current residents (not affiliated with management) to gain firsthand insights into the current living conditions, management practices, and overall atmosphere of the community. Exercise caution, as some residents may be hesitant to speak openly.
- **Check Official Records:** Review public records with the City of Jacksonville and other relevant authorities for any complaints, violations, or legal actions involving Three Seasons Mobile Home Village.
At this time, there is no information available regarding specific services, features beyond the mentioned rec room and pool (from past accounts), or any promotional offers for Three Seasons Mobile Home Village. Due to the serious nature of the recent allegations, potential local users should prioritize verifying the current conditions and management practices over any potential promotions that might be advertised elsewhere.
In conclusion, Three Seasons Mobile Home Village presents a complex and potentially concerning picture for local users exploring housing options. While historical accounts suggest a positive community environment in the past, recent reviews contain serious allegations of fraud, mismanagement, neglect, and the unavailability of advertised amenities. Individuals considering this mobile home park should exercise extreme caution, conduct thorough independent research, and seek legal and community-based perspectives before making any decisions. The significant discrepancies between past and present accounts underscore the importance of relying on current and verifiable information when evaluating potential "RV parks near me" or mobile home communities for residency.

Three Seasons Mobile Home Village Reviews
I lived on Collins road in the early seventiesIt was wonderful. I was only fifteen at the time. We had a rec room with all the nice things. Pinball pool tableAnd the pool was always open and maintainedThe lot manager lived on site and always there if needed. I am now sixty seven now and I do believe that greedy assholes and drugs took over the placeIt was really a wonderful place to grow up. At least back in those times
Mar 30, 2025 · Louise SwendsenThey're using fake licenses when they claimed they were bought out by Oakwood ...they have been on the news 4 Jax constantly for crimes , fraud, scamming people claiming they have mobile homes for sale and the percentage down was stolen - the pool and amenities they state You're paying Your lot rent for are never open and they double charge You what You signed in Your Lease and Terms they create new fake charges that end up being double of what Your Original Lease Stated . Many Elderly and Disabled Citizens are getting treated horribly the past few years here ...They can only hope and pray others get the City Of Jax Involved Again To Help These Beautiful Kind People That Don't Deserve To be Treated So Badly. Is there any Humanity in this Park For These Elderly At All???
Aug 30, 2024 · GRVThe office hours are horrible, the phone number provided on google search is out of order, the front office never picks up the phone number that they do provide for tenants (their voicemail box is full), the office is almost never open even within the hours they set, the road for lane D is undriveable, the lawsuit regarding the outrageous waterbills caused by malfunctioning water meters seem to have gone no where, and despite a large majority of the tenants being of Hispanic decent there are no Spanish speaking workers at the office so expect to be using Google translate. The only reason I live here is because I cannot afford to move and the rent is going up. Do NOT move here, it is not worth it.
Jul 30, 2024 · Natasha ColonHave been contacting them for a week for not getting electricity and nobody answering my calls or emails, I go in person and nobody is at the office, this is the 4th time same problem accursed, but they did raise the lot rent by $200 plus $30 for trash a month
Nov 15, 2024 · June RomeroGrowing up in this neighborhood as a kid, it was respected and treated with care. Over time, the park slowly started to lose its touch. The parks aren't that fun to go play at for the kids. The pool is barely cleaned up these days, They finally l, and I mean, finally cleaned up the grass growing over all of the shoulders and edges. Now, they just need to replace the asphalt that's damaged with potholes with new asphalt. Replace the items in the parks that are damaged and are required to be looked at for the safety of the children. Actually, care for the people living there, plus bring it back to life. It's not the same, honestly. Bring the people together like they always did before it became a wreck.
