Trailer Park Village Introduce
When searching for "RV parks near me" in Salem, Oregon, Trailer Park Village, located at 4733 Portland Rd NE, Salem, OR 97305, USA, presents itself as a potential option for both RV stays and long-term residential living. The contact numbers for the park are (503) 393-7424 and +1 503-393-7424. It's important to note that while the platform category is "RV parks near me," Trailer Park Village appears to function as both an RV park and a mobile home park, catering to a range of accommodation needs.
Based on the limited reviews available, there are contrasting perspectives on the living experience at Trailer Park Village. One positive account comes from a friend of a resident, who describes it as a "wonderful place to live." This positive viewpoint highlights several appealing aspects of the community. Firstly, it suggests that the management is responsive to the maintenance needs of its residents, as the friend mentioned how the park "always fix what you need to be fixed." Prompt and reliable maintenance is a crucial factor for residents' comfort and satisfaction in any living situation, whether in an RV park or a mobile home community.
Furthermore, this positive feedback indicates that Trailer Park Village may be pet-friendly, as the resident mentioned being able to keep pets there. For many RVers and long-term residents, the ability to have their animal companions with them is a significant consideration when choosing a place to live. This pet-friendly policy could be a notable advantage for those traveling with or owning pets in the Salem area.
The ability to have a garden is another appealing feature mentioned in the positive review. The resident is reportedly "able to keep a garden there," suggesting that Trailer Park Village provides space or facilities for residents to cultivate their own plants and gardens. This can enhance the aesthetic appeal of the community and offer residents a rewarding and enjoyable activity, fostering a sense of home and personalization of their living space.
However, it is crucial to consider the significantly negative feedback from another individual who reports a very different experience at Trailer Park Village. This reviewer alleges the presence of "drugs everywhere and theft," which, if accurate, would be a serious concern for the safety and well-being of residents and visitors. Such allegations should be carefully considered by anyone contemplating staying or living at Trailer Park Village.
This same reviewer also describes a distressing personal situation involving eviction. They claim to be "being evicted from there for being a violent person" based on alleged domestic charges that were supposedly "never filed." They state that they were "free of the charges not having to go to court" and that the eviction and towing of their truck are occurring "for something that never happened" after they "ask for help." This account raises serious questions about the fairness and transparency of the eviction process and the management's handling of resident issues. It is important to note that this is a single individual's account, but it presents a stark contrast to the positive feedback received through a third party.
Given these conflicting reports, it is challenging to form a definitive objective assessment of Trailer Park Village based solely on these two reviews. The positive feedback suggests a community with responsive maintenance, pet-friendly policies, and the possibility of having a garden. These are attractive features for many RVers and long-term residents.
On the other hand, the negative review raises serious concerns about safety, security, and the fairness of management practices. Allegations of drug activity and theft within the park would be significant red flags for anyone considering living there. The account of eviction based on unfiled charges and a perceived lack of due process is also deeply troubling.
Potential users of Trailer Park Village, whether for short-term RV stays or long-term residency, should be aware of these contrasting experiences. It would be prudent to seek additional information and perspectives before making a decision. Contacting the management directly to inquire about their policies on safety, security, maintenance, pets, gardening, and eviction procedures would be a crucial step in due diligence.
Visiting Trailer Park Village in person could also provide valuable insights into the environment and atmosphere of the community. Observing the cleanliness, the upkeep of the grounds, the interactions between residents, and the overall sense of security could help potential users form their own impressions. If possible, speaking with current residents (beyond the limited feedback available online) could offer a more balanced and comprehensive understanding of what it is like to live at Trailer Park Village.
It is important to remember that online reviews can be subjective and may not always represent the full picture. However, the stark contrast between the two available reviews for Trailer Park Village highlights the potential for varied experiences within the community. The positive review, while limited to a friend's perspective, points to desirable aspects such as maintenance responsiveness and certain freedoms for residents. The negative review, while a personal account of a distressing situation, raises significant concerns about safety and management practices.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" or considering long-term residential options in Salem, Oregon, Trailer Park Village warrants careful consideration and further investigation. The potential benefits mentioned in the positive feedback should be weighed against the serious allegations raised in the negative review. Gathering more information through direct contact with the management and, if possible, current residents is strongly recommended to make an informed decision about whether Trailer Park Village is the right fit for their needs.
In conclusion, Trailer Park Village in Salem, Oregon, presents a mixed picture based on the limited available reviews. While one account suggests a community with responsive maintenance, pet-friendly policies, and gardening opportunities, another raises serious concerns about safety, security, and management practices. Potential residents and RVers should conduct thorough due diligence, including contacting the management and seeking additional perspectives, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the living environment at Trailer Park Village before making a decision.

May 24, 2024 · Rian HillI love this place! I have been here for years. The place is clean and friendly. Lots of kids play in the area and it is extremely quiet at night. We used to have some problems but the monster Esuela got them out and keeps them out. We love the neighborhood!

The traffic has slowed way down and the people are begining to look more like citizens and less like criminals. There is still stuff to be worked on but not even god could creat the workd over night. A little more time and he should have this plCe top notch. Great work dwayne. Keep it up!
