Village Mobile Home Park Introduce
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in the Hazelwood, Missouri, area, Village Mobile Home Park, located at 6301 N Lindbergh Blvd #25, Hazelwood, MO 63042, USA, appears to be a location that warrants significant caution based on the overwhelmingly negative customer feedback available. The reviews paint a concerning picture of the park's environment, maintenance, and management practices, which would be crucial for anyone considering a short-term RV stay or longer-term residency.
The environment of Village Mobile Home Park is described in extremely negative terms by one reviewer who claims, "I drove through there and it is the absolute biggest dump ever! ... This place is not fit for the homeless to live in. Unbelievable! And it's so funny that on their website there are all these rules about how nice you need to keep your home and skirting and everything if you live there but that place isn't fit for rats.!" This paints a picture of severe disrepair and neglect, suggesting that the park's physical environment may be significantly deteriorated and unappealing. The stark contrast between the alleged website rules and the observed conditions is particularly alarming, indicating a potential disconnect between the park's presentation and its reality.
Regarding services and features, the reviews highlight considerable maintenance issues. One resident states, "There are considerable maintenance issues. I haven't seen a much of the promised effort from the new owners." This suggests that essential upkeep and repairs may not be adequately addressed, potentially impacting the living conditions and safety of residents and any RV visitors. The lack of specific mentions of RV amenities like hookups (water, electricity, sewage), restrooms, laundry facilities, or recreational areas, combined with the negative portrayal of the overall environment, implies that these services may be either substandard or non-existent. The focus on maintenance problems further detracts from any potential positive features the park might possess.
The management of Village Mobile Home Park also comes under scrutiny in the reviews. The aforementioned resident expresses disappointment with the lack of improvement from the "new owners." Additionally, another reviewer recounts a highly negative experience with the management regarding their security deposit, stating, "Update: ripped me for my deposit due to damage created by the fire department when the neighbor's car caught on fire. NOT COOL!" This suggests potentially unfair or unreasonable handling of financial matters and a lack of consideration for circumstances beyond a resident's control. The initial comment about the park being "sorta ok if you just keep to yourself" but noting "consistent trouble makers, busy-bodies, self-appointed judges & jurers" among some residents also hints at potential social or community management issues.
There is no promotional information whatsoever to be gleaned from these reviews. Instead, the feedback serves as a strong deterrent. The graphic description of the park as a "dump" unfit for even "rats" and the accusation of being "ripped" for a security deposit due to fire department damage are severe criticisms that would likely dissuade anyone from considering this location. The lack of any positive comments about the park's environment, services, features, or management further underscores the negative sentiment expressed by these reviewers.
Given the overwhelmingly negative and concerning nature of the available reviews, local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Hazelwood, MO, should be extremely cautious about Village Mobile Home Park. The allegations of severe disrepair, unaddressed maintenance issues, and questionable management practices paint a picture of a potentially undesirable and problematic living or short-term stay environment. Before even considering this location, it is absolutely crucial to take the following steps:
- Attempt to contact the management directly with extreme caution: Call them at (314) 798-7705 or +1 314-798-7705 to inquire about the current condition of the park, the services and amenities offered to RVs (if any), their maintenance protocols, and their policies regarding security deposits and unforeseen events. Be prepared for potentially unsatisfactory responses based on the reviews.
- Seek out significantly more recent reviews from multiple independent sources: The existing reviews are concerning, and it is essential to determine if the situation has improved or deteriorated further under the "new owners." Look for feedback on various platforms to get a broader perspective.
- Consider visiting the park in person for a thorough inspection: If you are still considering this location despite the negative reviews, a personal visit is non-negotiable. Carefully assess the overall environment, the condition of the mobile homes and grounds, and any visible infrastructure. Pay close attention to any signs of disrepair or neglect.
- Inquire specifically about RV accommodations and policies: If your interest is for RV parking, directly ask about the availability and condition of RV sites, the types of hookups provided, the size restrictions for RVs, and any specific rules or fees applicable to RV stays. Given the negative descriptions of the park, it is highly questionable whether it even caters adequately to RVs.
- Prioritize researching and considering alternative RV parks and mobile home parks in the Hazelwood and surrounding areas: Do not let the location of Village Mobile Home Park be the sole deciding factor. There are likely other options in St. Charles and Fenton, as mentioned by one reviewer, that offer a much more positive and well-maintained environment. Focus your search on parks with consistently positive reviews and a reputation for good management.
In conclusion, the available reviews for Village Mobile Home Park in Hazelwood, MO, paint a dire picture of a severely neglected environment, significant maintenance problems, and questionable management practices. The strong negative language used by reviewers, including describing the park as a "dump" unfit for habitation and alleging unfair financial treatment, should serve as a major deterrent for local users seeking "RV parks near me" or considering mobile home residency. Proceeding with extreme caution and prioritizing the exploration of alternative, more reputable locations is strongly advised.

Village Mobile Home Park Reviews
As we all know you cannot leave zero stars otherwise I would not have put one. Ok, so I drove through there and it is the absolute biggest dump ever! There are many mobile home neighborhoods in areas like St. Charles & Fenton that are very nice! With new homes and well maintained grounds. But Wow! This place is not fit for the homeless to live in. Unbelievable! And it's so funny that on their website there are all these rules about how nice you need to keep your home and skirting and everything if you live there but that place isn't fit for rats.! Lmao
Sep 29, 2023 · GhernandezThis place is sorta ok if you just keep to yourself. Some of the people that live here are great, and some are consistent trouble makers, busy-bodies, self-appointed judges & jurers...you know, just like anywhere else.... There are considerable maintenance issues. I haven't seen a much of the promised effort from the new owners.Update: ripped me for my deposit due to damage created by the fire department when the neighbor's car caught on fire. NOT COOL!
Oct 19, 2021 · Just Sayin'I lived here many years; some were good. The poster who gave this 5 stars has not lived here to my knowledge. There are many vacant units and some of them are condemned. Sometimes police activity is frequent. Maintenance has often been a major issue. Unless Hazelwood Code Enforcement has passed its inspection, you can't be sure of your move-in date. If you have children, be aware that multiple ex-cons reside here.
Nov 18, 2017 · Marilyn SchaflerI enjoy living out here and have been here over a year new owners have taken over park and lots of great changes have came into effect. I am quite disturbed how more than half the reviews made on here are negative but the people who made them weren't great people themselves. It is quiet and peaceful out here now that the people who were up to no good have been kicked out or left the park and as far as one person's comments on children there are only 5 kids out here total and all they do is play ball or ride bikes that's what kids are supposed to do outside this isn't a bad place to lice and it's affordable I enjoy it out here now that things have changed!
Jun 13, 2018 · Erika GravesI actually like it here. It's going to be great after the road is fixed in the trailer park. But management is on top of things, very nice people.
