Vinings Trailer Park Introduce
Welcome to Vinings Trailer Park, a charming and relaxing destination nestled at 105 Portage Lake Rd in Munith, Michigan. For those searching for "RV parks near me" in a picturesque setting, Vinings Trailer Park offers a family-friendly environment with a notable highlight: its awesome private beach on Portage Lake. Based on customer reviews, it appears to be a place where families can unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
One reviewer describes Vinings Trailer Park as a "very cool relaxing place to go with the family." This positive sentiment suggests that the park provides a tranquil atmosphere conducive to a peaceful getaway. The mention of it being a good place for families indicates that it likely caters to a diverse range of visitors, including those traveling with children.
A significant feature highlighted in the reviews is the private beach access for Vinings Trailer Park guests. One reviewer enthusiastically notes, "The private beach is awesome though. Love the sand on my feet & the water is pretty shallow so my kids can have a lot of fun." This is a major draw for families and individuals who enjoy lake activities such as swimming, sunbathing, and simply relaxing by the water. The shallow water is particularly appealing for families with young children, as it provides a safer environment for them to play and enjoy the lake.
The same reviewer also offers a suggestion for improvement, wishing that the park had a playground for children by the lake and picnic tables near the private beach. The absence of a dedicated play area for kids is noted as something to consider, suggesting that families with children might need to bring their own entertainment or activities specifically for them. The lack of picnic tables near the beach might also be a minor inconvenience for those wanting to enjoy meals or snacks by the lake.
Another reviewer simply states, "Very nice place not to much noise." This reinforces the idea that Vinings Trailer Park offers a peaceful and quiet environment, which can be a significant advantage for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy a relaxing retreat.
Based on these initial positive reviews, the environment of Vinings Trailer Park seems to be characterized by its natural beauty, particularly its access to Portage Lake and the private beach. The atmosphere is described as relaxing and not too noisy, suggesting a serene setting for visitors. The park appears to be family-friendly, although the availability of specific kid-oriented amenities like a playground might be limited.

Very cool relaxing place to go with the family. Just make sure you bring stuff for kids if you have any. Really wish they had a playground for the kids by the lake & picnic tables where the private beach is for the vinings trailer park! The private beach is awesome though. Love the sand on my feet & the water is pretty shallow so my kids can have a lot of fun

Jun 06, 2023 · Jesse OdohertyWe owned a place at Vinings from1980-1997. We loved it there, our son grew up making many friends. We arrived on Friday morning and left on Monday night. We had a pontoon on Portage Lake until our son was about 7 and then moved it to the deep lake on the park side. Loved the activities in the big barn and campfires with our summer friends. Great golf courses close by that my husband and son liked playing. Mom and I read a lot and shopped in nearby Grass Lake. Great place for all ages!
Jul 15, 2020 · Marie WohlfieldExcellent experience. Very relaxed environment. Beach is very close. Sandy bottom and great for toddlers and young children. The owner even stopped by to see how we were doing and to ensure we were having a good time. Would recommend!
