Westwood Village Introduce
Welcome to Westwood Village, located at 2904 Stratford Dr, Bay City, MI 48706, USA. If you are searching for 'RV parks near me' or exploring options for long-term living in the Bay City area, Westwood Village is a mobile home park that warrants consideration. However, it is crucial to note that recent feedback from long-term residents paints a concerning picture regarding the current state of the community.
Regarding the environment, past residents who lived in Westwood Village for extended periods have indicated a decline in the quality of life. One reviewer who resided there for over a decade mentioned that the park was 'great' upon their initial move-in but has deteriorated significantly since then. They attribute this decline to changes in ownership and management. A particularly alarming concern raised is the alleged lack of action regarding safety issues, with a specific mention of the potential for trees to fall on homes or cars without any apparent intervention from the management. This suggests potential neglect in maintaining a safe living environment within the park.
In terms of services and features, the feedback highlights a negative shift over time, particularly following changes in ownership. A resident who lived in the park for nearly 20 years recalls a time when residents benefited from amenities such as free cable and no personal water expenses, contributing to a more peaceful living experience. They also remember 'first class maintenance' and equitable treatment for all residents. However, the reviews strongly suggest that these positive aspects are no longer the reality. Residents now report increased costs of living, the imposition of fines, and what they perceive as impatience from the management.
The management, particularly an individual named Denise, is a significant point of concern in the provided reviews. One reviewer describes the current owners and management as 'awful' and characterizes Denise as 'extremely rude and disrespectful' with a lack of care for the residents. This reviewer also alleges that the manager actively seeks opportunities to issue fines and frequently threatens residents with them. Such feedback indicates a potentially adversarial relationship between the management and the residents, which could significantly impact the living experience within Westwood Village.
For those specifically looking within the 'RV parks near me' category, it's important to understand that Westwood Village is primarily a mobile home park designed for long-term residency in manufactured homes, rather than a facility offering short-term RV parking. While some mobile home parks might accommodate RVs on a long-term basis, the primary focus here appears to be on permanent or semi-permanent housing in mobile homes. Therefore, if your search is for temporary or overnight RV stays, you would likely need to look at dedicated RV parks in the Bay City area.
In summary, the recent feedback regarding Westwood Village presents a cautionary perspective for potential residents. Long-term residents express significant dissatisfaction with the current ownership and management, citing increased lot rent without corresponding improvements, alleged neglect of safety concerns, the elimination of previous amenities, and a negative experience with the manager. The overall sentiment from the reviews advises prospective residents to avoid this park to prevent 'heartache and headaches.'
Given the overwhelmingly negative recent feedback, it would be prudent for anyone considering Westwood Village to exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence. This would include attempting to contact current residents (if possible), visiting the property to assess the conditions firsthand, and directly engaging with the management to understand their policies and address the concerns raised in the reviews. The provided phone number, (989) 220-3908 or +1 989-220-3908, can be used to reach out to the management.
Based on the information available, Westwood Village does not currently appear to be a highly recommended option for long-term living in a mobile home park in Bay City. The consistent negative experiences shared by former long-term residents suggest that prospective residents should carefully weigh these concerns and explore alternative mobile home parks or RV parks in the vicinity to ensure a more positive living experience.

Westwood Village Reviews
Run from this park. I've lived here for over a decade and it was great when I moved in. But not anymore and that's why everyone has left. It's been sold twice and the current owners and management is awful. They have raised the lot rent hundreds and do nothing. You can expect a tree to fall on your house or car and again they do nothing. Denise the manager is extremely rude and disrespectful and doesn't care about residents. She will do anything to fine you and will constantly threaten residents of fines. Save yourself lots of heartache and headaches and drive right on past this nightmare.
Feb 19, 2025 · Angie DeniseLived in this park for almost 20 years and once the new owners took over it has never been the same. We at one time had free cable, no personal water expenses and it was a very peaceful place to be. As well as first class maintenance and equal understanding for ALL residents. Not anymore. Save your money and go elsewhere. Unless you like increased cost of living, fines and of course impatience.
Jan 26, 2024 · JlklmlThey will raise your rent during your lease. They never answer the phone or return phone calls. Get one month literally one month behind and they will try to take your home. Don't move there you will regret it. I've seen them leave homes literally on there side because they knocked them over putting them in then leave them there for months on there side and sell them to people later.
