Williamsburg Manor Manufactured Home Community Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Valparaiso, Indiana area, Williamsburg Manor Manufactured Home Community, located at 2257 Slover Road, Valparaiso, IN 46383, USA, is a mobile home park that might offer options for RV parking. You can contact them at (219) 247-3903 or their mobile number +1 219-247-3903 to inquire about the availability of RV sites and the services provided.
It is important to consider recent feedback from residents of Williamsburg Manor to gain a comprehensive understanding of the community and its management, especially if you are considering it as a potential location for your RV. As of February 16, 2025, a resident shared their experience, highlighting both positive and negative aspects of living in the community.
On the positive side, this resident mentioned liking living at Williamsburg Manor, describing it as a "decent enough place" where "people are nice and keep to themselves," and the area doesn't get "too crazy." These aspects suggest a potentially peaceful and neighborly environment, which can be appealing to RV travelers seeking a quiet and respectful setting.
However, the review also raises significant concerns regarding the management and maintenance of the property. The resident reported experiencing a recurring issue with the septic system for approximately three months, describing it as having "essentially just crapped itself, literally," leading to strong fecal odors inside their home on multiple occasions. The struggle to address this ongoing issue is a major point of concern.
Furthermore, the resident expressed frustration with the lack of an emergency maintenance contact number. They noted that neither the company's website, Google page, nor Facebook page provides a specific emergency maintenance line. Instead, only a generic main office number is available, which does not offer a separate option for emergency maintenance. A weekend contact number provided reportedly went straight to voicemail, indicating potential difficulties in reaching maintenance outside of regular business hours.
Another significant issue raised in the review pertains to the responsibility for dead trees on individual lots. The resident stated that they were told that dead trees on their lot were their responsibility to handle, despite the potential safety hazard of a tree falling. While the review mentions that someone was cutting trees down in the community, there was a lack of communication regarding which trees would be removed, leaving the resident feeling unheard and concerned for their safety. The lack of communication from management was a recurring theme, also noted in relation to the marking of gas lines within the community, for which no explanation was provided.
Finally, the review included a negative interaction with office staff regarding a billing inquiry, where a staff member reportedly made an unprofessional comment to the resident. This incident suggests potential issues with customer service and communication from the management office.
Considering this detailed feedback, individuals searching for "RV parks near me" should approach Williamsburg Manor Manufactured Home Community with caution. While the community might offer a generally peaceful environment with friendly residents, the reported issues with septic system maintenance, lack of emergency maintenance contact, unclear policies regarding tree removal, and communication problems with management are significant drawbacks to consider.
Before making any decisions, it is crucial for potential RV visitors to contact Williamsburg Manor directly using the provided phone numbers. When you call, be sure to ask specific questions about their policies and provisions for RVs, including:
- Availability of RV Sites: Inquire if they have designated RV sites or if RVs are permitted on any of the mobile home lots. If so, ask about the number and size of available spaces.
- Hookup Facilities: Determine the types of hookups available at the RV sites (e.g., water, electricity – specify amperage – sewer).
- Amenities for RV Guests: Ask about any amenities specifically offered to RV travelers, such as restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, or a dump station.
- Maintenance Procedures: Inquire about their maintenance protocols, particularly regarding essential services like water and sewage, and how emergency maintenance is handled.
- Tree Policies: Clarify their policies regarding tree maintenance and removal on lots where RVs might be placed.
- Communication Practices: Ask about their communication methods with residents and how they keep them informed about important community matters.
- Rates and Fees for RVs: Obtain detailed information about their pricing for RV sites, including any daily, weekly, or monthly rates, and any additional charges.
- Community Rules and Regulations: Understand any specific rules or regulations that apply to RV guests.
Given the serious maintenance concerns and communication issues highlighted in the resident review, it is strongly recommended that you thoroughly investigate Williamsburg Manor and compare it with other "RV parks near me" in the Valparaiso area. Look for parks with more consistent positive feedback regarding management responsiveness, maintenance, and clear communication.
While the community might have some appealing aspects, the potential for encountering similar maintenance and communication problems, as described by the resident, should not be overlooked. It would be prudent to seek out RV parks with a proven track record of reliable service and transparent management to ensure a more comfortable and stress-free experience.
In conclusion, while Williamsburg Manor Manufactured Home Community is located in Valparaiso and can be contacted for information about RV parking, the recent resident feedback raises significant concerns about maintenance and management communication. Potential RV visitors should proceed with caution, conduct thorough inquiries, and consider alternative "RV parks near me" to ensure their needs are met and their stay is satisfactory.

Williamsburg Manor Manufactured Home Community Reviews
Right now, on this companies Facebook they are asking folks to leave reviews of their experience at this community. Here's my experience as of 11:15 AM CST this morning 02/16/2025:I awoke to a boom coming from a toilet, and the smell of strong fecal matter yet again wafting throughout my house for the third time in less approximately two months. There is no emergency maintenance number listed on this companies' website, on this companies google page, or on this companies Facebook. Instead a generic main office number is provided, which doesn't provide a separate option to contact maintenance in case of an emergency. When provided with a number to call in over the weekend, which isn't specifically for maintenance, it simply goes straight to voicemail.I hate to do this, I really do. I actually like living here. It's a decent enough place, people are nice and keep to themselves and it doesn't get too crazy around here. But for the last 3 months or so the septic system has essentially just crapped itself, literally. And it seems as though it is a struggle to address this ongoing issue.
Feb 16, 2025 · William StoneBeware - if you pick a lot with dead trees, they become your responsibility. I am in constant fear of a tree falling on my head but was told it is my responsibility to deal with it - this week there is someone cutting trees down but there is no communication. You would think that because I have asked for these trees to be removed, I would be on the list - but who knows - no communication whatsoever - there is a truck going around marking where all the gas lines are - why are they doing this? who knows - no communication - I love my house and my neighbors but the mgmt. not so much. When I went in to discuss a charge on my bill the girl told me that she was in a good mood until I came in - really? Do better

It is located on 2nd street that curves and trailer is on left hand side with a vacant lot next to it!!+
