Beacon Hill Camping Introduce
If you're a local user searching for a peaceful and well-maintained "camping near me" experience, Beacon Hill Camping, located at 128 Beacon Hill Rd, Intercourse, PA 17534, offers a promising option. Situated in the scenic countryside of Pennsylvania, Beacon Hill Camping appears to prioritize a tranquil and clean environment for its guests. The positive feedback from some campers highlights the beauty of the campground, its quiet atmosphere, and the exceptional care taken in maintaining the grounds.
One enthusiastic reviewer described Beacon Hill Camping as "so beautiful, very quiet and clean!!" This sentiment suggests that the natural environment of the campground is a significant draw, likely featuring pleasant scenery and a peaceful ambiance that allows guests to truly relax and unwind. For those seeking respite from the noise and bustle of everyday life, the emphasis on quietness is a notable advantage. The reviewer also specifically mentioned the cleanliness of the campground, indicating a commitment to providing a comfortable and hygienic environment for all visitors.
The positive review further praised the owners and staff, describing them as "incredible" and highlighting their genuine care for customers. This level of personal attention can significantly enhance the camping experience, making guests feel welcome and valued. The reviewer also noted that the staff "take great care of the grounds," reinforcing the impression of a well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing environment. This attention to detail likely contributes to the overall positive experience reported by this camper.
In today's connected world, access to reliable internet can be a significant bonus, even while camping. The same reviewer specifically mentioned that "The WiFi worked so well could stream shows." This indicates that Beacon Hill Camping offers a robust Wi-Fi service, allowing guests to stay connected, stream entertainment, or even work remotely if needed, without the frustrations of slow or unreliable internet access often found at campgrounds. This amenity can be particularly appealing to those who want to enjoy the outdoors without completely disconnecting from the digital world.
The reviewer also expressed satisfaction with their campsite, stating, "We loved our site and can’t wait to return in the Spring." This suggests that the individual campsites at Beacon Hill Camping are well-appointed and cater to the needs of campers, providing a comfortable and enjoyable base for their stay. The anticipation of a return visit further underscores the positive impression left by the campground.
However, it is crucial to present a balanced and objective introduction based on all available information. Another review provided a contrasting experience. In this instance, two 17-year-old females who were visiting out of town and taking a break in their parked, turned-off vehicle on the campgrounds reported that the campground personnel called the police on them. While the review mentions that the police were "chill," it also highlights the negative reaction of the individuals who made the call. This incident suggests a potentially less welcoming or perhaps overly cautious approach in certain situations. It's important for potential visitors to be aware of this reported experience, as it may influence their perception of the campground's policies and interactions with guests.
Considering both reviews, Beacon Hill Camping appears to offer a beautiful, quiet, and clean environment with attentive owners and staff, as well as the convenience of reliable Wi-Fi. These are significant positives for local users seeking a peaceful and comfortable "camping near me" option. The positive reviewer's eagerness to return speaks volumes about their overall satisfaction.
However, the incident reported in the second review raises a point of caution regarding the campground's approach to perceived issues or unfamiliar situations. While the context of the situation might have led to the decision to call the authorities, the campers involved felt they were treated unfairly. This suggests that potential guests might want to be mindful of campground rules and perhaps clarify any uncertainties upon arrival to ensure a smooth and comfortable stay.
For local users considering Beacon Hill Camping, the positive aspects of a beautiful, quiet, clean campground with friendly service and good Wi-Fi are strong attractions. The location in Intercourse, PA, also places it within a region known for its scenic beauty and attractions, potentially offering opportunities for local exploration. To gain a more comprehensive understanding and address any potential concerns arising from the less positive review, it might be beneficial to contact Beacon Hill Camping directly at (717) 768-8775 or +1 717-768-8775. Inquiring about their policies regarding visitors and ensuring clarity on expectations could contribute to a more informed decision.
In conclusion, Beacon Hill Camping presents itself as a potentially excellent choice for local users seeking a tranquil and well-maintained "camping near me" experience in a beautiful setting. The positive review highlights numerous appealing aspects, including the environment, cleanliness, staff, and amenities like Wi-Fi. However, the reported incident in the other review suggests a need for potential visitors to be aware of campground policies and perhaps seek clarification on any potential concerns before their stay. Weighing these aspects will allow local users to make an informed decision about whether Beacon Hill Camping aligns with their preferences for their next outdoor getaway.

Dec 07, 2024 · Ruth StuenkelMy friend and I (both 17 year old females) spent some time in our parked, turned off vehicle on the camp grounds since we were visiting out of town (as to take a breather from driving). They called the cops on us. The cops were chill. The ppl who called them were not. We’re literal wittle girls leave us alone.
Apr 19, 2025 · Daisy MarasciulloThis was our first time camping and Beacon Hill and we have nothing but good things to say. Of all the places my partner and I have camped, Beacon Hill by far has the nicest and cleanest bathroom/shower facilities that we have ever experienced. The campground was well kept, quiet and clean; and they owners were friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work. We will definitely return.
Sep 27, 2024 · Gary RaishPreparing to pack up and head home after spending a week at Beacon Hill Camping. It has been a great experience. The campground is clean and quiet, and the bathhouse is kept spotless. The location is great. Easy to get to all that Lancaster has to offer, but still quiet and cozy. When we made our reservation, our only request was a shady site. Christa suggested Site 8 in the upper area and it has been perfect for us. We have enjoyed watching the animals on the neighboring farms, the buggies passing by, and the fireflies at night. The visits by the Amish selling baked goods are a plus.We highly recommend.
