A notable characteristic mentioned is the temperature variation within the spring, with some areas being quite "HOT" while others are at a "perfect temp." This natural gradient allows soakers to find a comfortable spot according to their preference. One reviewer also pointed out an interesting feature: the spring water bubbles up from the left side of the pool in a couple of places, offering a natural jacuzzi-like sensation if located. The experience at Cove Creek Hot Springs seems to be quite communal, with a reviewer mentioning the opportunity to chat with "great people we met while soaking," suggesting a friendly and social atmosphere.
Maintenance and Natural Dynamics: One of the reviews mentions that the "wall was very leaky," which initially caused the pool to be cold. This suggests that the hot spring might be a somewhat natural and unmanaged location where visitors occasionally contribute to its upkeep. This also highlights the dynamic nature of natural hot springs, where conditions can change. The fact that the pool's temperature was affected by a leak indicates the importance of the natural flow of hot water in maintaining its warmth. Cove Creek Hot Springs Reviews
Awesome spot! Nice and secluded although you can still hear road traffic. Right next to the river so it offers beautiful views and sounds. Some areas are HOT while others are perfect temp. Got to chat with some great people we met while soaking. Definitely a great spot!
Aug 07, 2023 · Zoe LittmannNice little spring. The pool is very shallow, but has a nice sand bottom. The wall was very leaky, do the pool was cold at first, but we had a good time fixing it up, and it got warmer. Note that there are a couple of places where the spring bubbles up from the left side of the pool... Look for the occasional bubbles to find where!
Jul 09, 2019 · Glenn PiperI had high hopes on this one! Unfortunately the spot that is warm is no bigger than one person and no deeper than 10”. Felt like sitting in a puddle. We did find one spot that was super hot on the feet, but with the cold river water coming in, wouldn’t even heat the ankles. The scenery was nice.
