Emery Bay Campground Reviews
Beautiful area! We were in camp spot 2 and loved it. There was a trail right behind the campsite that had a view of the reservoir that was really peaceful. The site itself was spread out from the other campsites which we loved. It was a short walk to get to the beach/ boat launch. The bathroom was clean and had water behind it. The host stopped by and made sure everyone was bear aware. We were able to hang both our hammocks right behind our tent. The campsite and a good spot for the tent and came with a picnic table and fire pit. We did not have cell service while there.
Sep 11, 2024 · Shauna NielsonThe campground managers were super nice and friendly. The outhouses were very clean and smelled nice - considering 😁 Everything was well maintained. We got a site adjacent to the lake with a beautiful view. Watch for bears and don't leave your stuff out. However, the fire wood onsite for sale is sheit! $6 for a bundle of round logs that won't catch easily.
Jul 20, 2024 · AJ RCampground itself was fine. Problem was the dirt potholed and washboard Forest Service road you have to travel down to get to the camp ground. It rattled items out of cabinets going in and a heavy rain while we were there didn't improve the condition of the road before we left.I realize that a blading would eliminate the problem and probably wouldn't even mention this issue if it weren't for others also complaining of the same issue over time. That tells me blading isn't being done on a regular basis.
Aug 25, 2024 · BarrySmall campground only 25 sites. It’s not worth the ride to this campground. The dirt road was absolutely terrible getting to the campground. Even going 10 mph I was afraid to bust up my vehicle. If you go you have been warned. I had a reservation and didn’t even stay. D U M P
Sep 18, 2024 · John MatthewWe were in site 6, best site in the campground, though all are very beautiful. Site 6 is a FCFS site, though they called the WW in sites. Most have view of the lake. Host was wonderful. Vaulted toilets were very clean. Quite and spaced out sites. We planes on staying three nights and liked it so much we stayed six. 9-12 to 9-17, 2023.
