The environment surrounding Fireside Resort - Jackson Hole Campground is characterized by the stunning landscapes of the Jackson Hole valley. Located near the iconic Teton Range and in close proximity to Grand Teton National Park, guests are treated to picturesque views and easy access to world-class natural attractions. The resort is situated on Moose Wilson Road, a scenic route known for its wildlife sightings and access to various hiking trails and outdoor activities. While the immediate setting of the campground might feature closely spaced sites, the overall area offers an unparalleled opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty of the Rocky Mountains and the surrounding wilderness.
Fireside Resort - Jackson Hole Campground offers a range of services and features that lean towards a more comfortable and modern camping experience, sometimes referred to as "glamping." One of the standout features, consistently praised in visitor reviews, is the high quality of its sanitary facilities. Guests can expect super modern and clean showers and bathrooms, offering a level of comfort often associated with hotels rather than traditional campgrounds. The check-in service is also reported to be efficient and professional, akin to a hotel experience, ensuring a smooth arrival process.
The resort provides both RV sites and cabin rentals, catering to different accommodation preferences. While specific details about the RV sites, such as size and hookup availability, might vary, visitor feedback suggests that the spaces can be quite close together. This proximity might be a consideration for those seeking more privacy and space between RVs. It's advisable to inquire about site dimensions and layout when making a reservation to ensure it meets your needs.
A significant feature of Fireside Resort is the emphasis on providing a higher level of comfort and convenience compared to traditional campgrounds. While not explicitly detailed in the provided reviews, resorts of this nature often offer additional amenities such as Wi-Fi access, communal areas, and potentially other services aimed at enhancing the guest experience. The mention of "sanitary facilities" as a highlight suggests a focus on cleanliness and modernity in these essential areas.
However, it's important to note some of the feedback from recent customers. One reviewer expressed dissatisfaction with the price, stating it was too high for a single person in a Sprinter Van, even acknowledging the beauty of the area. Another reviewer mentioned the lack of sleep due to the close proximity of RV spaces and a neighbor's air conditioning running throughout the night. These comments highlight that while the facilities might be excellent, the pricing and site density could be factors to consider for potential guests.
The pricing at Fireside Resort - Jackson Hole Campground appears to be on the higher end, with one review mentioning a cost of $150 after taxes. This is attributed, in part, to the desirable location in the Jackson Hole area, a renowned destination known for its stunning scenery and outdoor activities. While the cost might be higher than traditional campgrounds, it reflects the premium amenities and the sought-after location.
Promotional information is not explicitly provided in the reviews. However, resorts like Fireside often highlight their modern facilities, proximity to national parks and outdoor activities, and the unique blend of comfort and nature they offer. Potential guests might find promotional offers or packages on the resort's official website or through booking platforms. It's always recommended to check for any available deals or discounts when planning your stay.
For local users seeking a "camping near me" experience that offers more than just a basic campsite, Fireside Resort - Jackson Hole Campground presents an option with modern amenities and a prime location near the natural wonders of Jackson Hole. While some reviews point out concerns about pricing and site proximity, the clean and modern facilities are consistently praised. If you value high-quality sanitary facilities and a location that provides easy access to the attractions of Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park, Fireside Resort could be a suitable choice. However, it's advisable to weigh the cost and potential for close quarters against the convenience and modern amenities offered. Consider contacting the resort directly for detailed information on site availability, pricing, and any current promotions to make an informed decision for your next camping adventure.

Fireside Resort - Jackson Hole Campground Reviews
Not worth it! The only nice thing is the sanitary facilities. Way too overpriced! I paid almost $90 for one person in a Sprinter Van ... I cannot recommend this place at all! It's a shame, because the area is really beautiful.
Nov 25, 2024 · Anna DeckersCouldn't sleep. The RV spaces are very close together. Our neighbor's air conditioning ran on and off all night. The showers and bathroom are super modern and clean. The check in service was good (like a hotel). The price ($150 after taxes) was high but it's Jackson Hole so you're paying for the location.
Sep 08, 2024 · Tim GageThis is the best RV campground in Jackson. The bathrooms are all individual with toilets, sinks, and brand new updated showers. Everything was completely cleaned daily. The front desk guy was so friendly and they even loaned me a 50A adapter. The site is quiet, close proximity to town, and very well maintained. Campfires allowed. Nice little store for supplies (firewood, food, etc). Thanks, will be coming back again. The 3.8 current star rating is complete shenanigans. This place rocks. Thank you.
Aug 20, 2024 · Bob O'BrienYour pictures sure don't look like your campground. It was dry dusty and dirty. The only thing going for you is your location. We had to leave a day early due to a family emergency and there was no consideration for a refund for the one day we did not spend there. Every other campground refunded. This is one of the places we stayed at for 3 night which was the cost for one night with you. Much much nicer and only cost $2.50 for a wash vs 8.00 with you. Crazy!!!!
Aug 04, 2024 · Keith CarpenterWe stayed in a deluxe cabin and it was great! We have stayed in a few KOA cabins and this was just as I expected, clean, well kept, and clean linen. Staff is great. The deck and private fire pit were amazing! I loved this location too, views were beautiful! I wish there were a few more kids/teen friendly events, but the bags, pool, and other things kept them entertained!
