Friends Landing-Camping Reviews
A wonderful walk through a wooded path along the side of the river with my older grandson allowing for a very connective conversation. There was a lite sprinkling of rain making a subtle patterning to the tree cover path. The water had little rings as the rain splashed into the river. A couple benches from BSA were available and several docks extended from off the beach. The path is well cared for and flat. Bathroom facilities were available. Friendly people were fishing and enjoying the path along the way. At one point it opens up to a camping area that has a colorful inviting play ground area. It's a safe, clean, accessible, and beautiful walking area.
Jun 02, 2024 · CarlosAbsolutely love this place. Such a peaceful place that's child, handicap, & pet friendly. Everyone should experience nature, camping, fishing, or just playing on the kid toys and you can do all that here. Wonderful maintained nature trail for walks or jogs.
May 01, 2024 · Michelle PhillipsI did not camp here but I would if I could in the future! We just stopped here to stretch our legs on the trail and were not disappointed! The trails are mostly paved, and provide you with scenic and serene views.ONLY PROBLEM!! I did see some SS & other anti-Semitic symbolism carved into trees around the park which is why I dinged a star. Please be careful here & will someone please fix those carvings?!Otherwise, this spot has lots of gorgeous flowering trees and lake views I really enjoyed. Plus there is lots of parking and room for big rigs!
Jul 11, 2022 · Madelyn MazurekThis place is nearly perfect. Large spaces, clean and very quiet. Beautiful lake with hiking trail all they way around it. No propane, no laundry and sites only have water and electricity so you have to pull over to septic dump that costs $10 every few days. The rates are low so the Septic dump fee is only annoying. I will definitely visit again. Lots of kids on bikes so drive carefully.
Jul 02, 2022 · Joseph EllsworthWe love this little park, It has it all going here. For hikers, joggers, cycling & campers, canoeing, kayaking, boating, fishing, bird watching 152 acres It has a paved trail that goes around Quigg lake close to 1.7 miles long. 3 docks on lake with boat launch A playground for the children & horseshoe pits, covered picnic area. This park also sits alongside the Chehalis river with dock & river boat launch. Restrooms and showers are very well kept. Kudos to the camp Host.
