Hickory Hollow Campground Reviews
Well kept, quiet, easily accessible. There is a great walking trail. It was pretty rainy so we didn't get to use the pool but it looked very clean. Shower rooms were clean. Would definitely reccomend this campground especially if you are planning to visit Flight 93, Ohiopyle, Falling Waters. All within 20 -30 minutes of the campground.

Oct 31, 2024 · Donna DeemHickory Hollow Campground of Rockwood PA is a fabulous, fun, safe, family run campground! Doug and Mark (campground owners) are working hard alongside their staff to provide a wonderful experience for their guests. The hayrides and the sparkling clean pool are lots of fun! Jessica (the activities director) will have you making candy and playing bingo! She has a terrific, polite, fun disposition and we recommend attending the activities! They have a beautiful lake where you may fish until your heart’s content. A perfect flat walking and biking trail surrounds the lake. Each site has a concrete fire ring and fantastic, reliable WiFi!!!! Laundry facilities are available and bathhouse is clean. There is a store for essentials and the staff is friendly and helpful. The Flight 93 Memorial is nearby, please visit it.The seasonal campers were the nicest folks. We were given doggie ice cream by one of our neighbors! You can grab a bite to eat at the concession stand. I promise you, Anna, Kevin and Jessica will make you a very yummy meal!Hickory Hollow rocks! Go check them out!
Jun 25, 2024 · tracey ReedCan't say enough about this campground. The check-in process was very easy. The workers at the campground were pleasant and very helpful to all the campers. Per the locals, we experienced a microburst storm that knocked out the power and water. The crew worked hard to get both back on after the storm. Kudos to the staff of Hickory Hollow Campground. Beautiful and most relaxing campground.
Aug 26, 2023 · Timothy SaxmanWe are a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids) with 2 dogs and we are avid rustic tent campers. It is extremely hard to find a rustic site where it’s level, spacious and quiet. This campground has all 3 of those plus so much more. The sites are huge and away from the hussle and bussle of the other campsites. They were level and shaded and quiet. The bathhouse was close and kept very clean. The pool and pond are excellent touches to make the stay more enjoyable. There is also a small store that carries little souvenirs and some camping necessities. There’s a family dollar store 5 minutes down the road for little things you may have forgotten (like us, towels!) Our kids enjoyed playing basketball and volleyball and also enjoyed the little activities they had throughout the weekend that we stayed. This will be our official stop to go camping! Highly recommend this campground!
