Lake George Escape Campground Reviews
We have gone before in the past, got a cabin this weekend for a family getaway up north. Cabin was very clean, very comfortable and perfect for a camp weekend. All the events/activities throughout the day were great, pool was your typical pool, the bar restaurant was good the wings were great drinks were good and typical bar price. Place seemed to be buzzing all through the night also if you like camp nights, it was refreshing We will be back for sure, already looking I to possibly the camping pass just to go here more. Couldn't recommend a place more.
Aug 27, 2024 · Jay JBring your tubes because the Schroon River is calling. Lake George Escape Campground is GREAT!. My wife and and come to Lake George every year and it NEVER disappoints. This was our first time staying at Lake George Escape Campground and won't be our last. Perfectly located on Schroon River and only a mile down the road is the launch for your tubes and kayaks. The float in a tube is about an hour depending on the river level and speed. Bring your drinks and soak up the sun. The resort itself also has lots to do. The restaurant also has a bar and just happens to be right next to the pool. They do themed weekends and sometimes have live music.
Jul 18, 2024 · Bob FlammiaCampground was nice lots to do. Golf cart rental on site is nice. The store has everything you can imagine. Cabin was clean although never had the mattress in loft as described. Could have been cleaned a tad better but I’ll chalk it up to the camping experience. My wife could not get a drink at the bar after waiting 15 mins without anyone coming over on a slow afternoon. Also the no cash thing is lame when people literally save cash for vacation all year long. Would probably go back but would be open to trying others.
Aug 17, 2024 · Stephen MeyerAbsolutely love this campground! This campground is a family favorite amongst immediate and extended family. A bunch of us were there for a weekend camping trip for my brother's bachelor party, and we all had a great time. It's close to the village of Lake George and close to all the stuff in town
Sep 23, 2024 · JSRbowling595We rented a full hookup site, and there were no issues with the site. Check-in was quick and easy. Everyone who works here is very pleasant. Still in season for the weekends to see fall foliage, but the small restaurant on-site was closed. They do have a shuttle that will take you to Lake George which is really convenient.
