This is a crucial piece of information for prospective campers. While the host indicated that they are addressing the water situation, local users planning a visit should inquire about the current status of the water supply to ensure they are adequately prepared. The helpfulness of the host is also consistently praised, suggesting a well-managed and guest-oriented campground. There is also a small pond up past Tony Grove campground that was beautiful!Seems like a lot of hikes around. Definitely a lot of outdoor things to do close by.
Aug 08, 2022 · Alisha TsytsynExcellent stay of 4 nights. Beautiful spot. Easy access to hiking trails, to other areas of interest. Very clean. Well kept. Extraordinary bathrooms.
Aug 09, 2024 · Loralee WilkeyWe had an amazing time during our stay at Lewis Turner. Our camp host, Julie, was incredibly helpful and made our stay memorable. There is plenty of shade and it’s nice to be away from the highway. Close to Tony Grove. We will definitely come back.
Sep 02, 2023 · Erin JensenWe’ve stayed here twice this year. No water available, still. I Don't think it ever will be. Has high cement fire rings. Good metal picnic tables. Some highway noise. Nice restrooms, very clean. And some honey-bucket toilets. Host is very nice and helpful with info on trails and other campsites. The trees and bushes need to be trimmed on road up to this campground to prevent damage to RVs roofs and to widen the road clearance.
