New Smyrna Beach, Florida, is a popular destination known for its beautiful beaches, surfing, and relaxed coastal vibe. The area offers a variety of attractions, including the Canaveral National Seashore, Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, and a charming downtown area with shops and restaurants. The environment surrounding New Smyrna Beach RV Park benefits from its proximity to these coastal features, making it an appealing location for those wanting to enjoy the beach and surrounding natural beauty.
The customer reviews provide a balanced perspective on the services, features, and environment of New Smyrna Beach RV Park:
- Proximity to the Beach: A significant advantage highlighted by one reviewer is the "great location close to the beach." This makes the RV park an attractive choice for those wanting easy access to the sandy shores and ocean activities that New Smyrna Beach is famous for.
- Quiet Park with Friendly People: The park is described as "quiet" and having "friendly people," suggesting a peaceful and welcoming community atmosphere for guests. This can contribute to a relaxing stay.
- Clean Facilities: Multiple reviewers mention the cleanliness of the facilities, specifically noting that the "restrooms were clean." Another reviewer also stated "clean facilities," indicating that maintaining hygiene is a priority at the park.
- Free Laundry: A notable amenity mentioned by one long-term guest is the availability of "free laundry," which is a significant perk, especially for extended stays and can save travelers considerable expense.
- Nice-Looking Pool: While one reviewer did not use the pool, they noted that "it looked nice," suggesting that the park offers a pool area for guests to enjoy.
- Mixture of RVs and Mobile Homes: The park has a variety of RVs of different sizes, as well as some older mobile homes. While some guests found this acceptable, one reviewer felt that some of the mobile homes were not well-kept and detracted from the overall appearance of the park. This is an aesthetic consideration that potential guests might want to be aware of.
- Unpaved Roads and Sandy Conditions: A potential drawback mentioned by a long-term guest is that "sites and roads are unpaved so lots of sand blowing around." This is an important factor to consider, as it can affect the cleanliness of RVs and the overall outdoor experience, particularly during windy conditions.
- Internet Connectivity Issues: A significant concern raised by a guest who works remotely is that "the internet also sucks." They reported barely getting one bar of service with ATT, T-Mobile, and Verizon, forcing them to seek internet access elsewhere. This is a critical consideration for travelers who need reliable internet for work or personal use.
- Potential Wildlife Concerns: One reviewer shared an experience of finding a bat in their cat's outdoor kennel, leading to an expensive vet visit. This highlights the importance of being vigilant with pets and aware of local wildlife, although such incidents may be rare.
- Suitable for Short Stays: One reviewer who stayed for a short time described it as "a great stop," indicating its suitability for overnight or brief visits while traveling.
- Suitable for Longer Stays: Another guest stayed for 11 days and highlighted the great location and free laundry, suggesting it can also accommodate longer visits, provided guests are prepared for the sandy conditions and potential internet limitations.

However, potential guests should also be aware of the following considerations mentioned in the reviews:
- Unpaved and Sandy Conditions: Be prepared for sand and the challenges of unpaved roads.
- Potentially Poor Internet Connectivity: If reliable internet is crucial, this RV park might not be suitable without alternative solutions.
- Presence of Older Mobile Homes: The aesthetic aspect of the park might be affected by some older mobile homes.

New Smyrna Beach RV Park Reviews
First time staying here on our way north. Quiet park, friendly people. Restrooms were clean. We did not use the pool, but it looked nice. The park has a mixture of RV' of every size and some older mobile homes. Some of them are not well kept and takes away from the park, in my opinion. This was a great stop for a short stay.
Apr 24, 2025 · Tina NellenbachWe stayed 11 days. Great location close to the beach. Sites and roads are unpaved so lots of sand blowing around. Clean facilities and free laundry is nice. If you have animals keep an eye on them. We found a bat sleeping in our cats outdoor kennel which led to a very expensive emergency vet visit. The internet also sucks. We have ATT, T mobile, and verizon and could barely get one bar. We work remote so had to drive to Starbucks every day to get any work done
Mar 31, 2025 · Brian LouisBeautiful and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Accommodates BICYCLE tourists with very reasonable rates. I am touring solo by bicycle and was welcomed here. Another RV park close-by would not let me stay and a third one close-by did not return my call. Thank you to Heather, the manager of this place for a wonderful stay here.
Mar 02, 2025 · Kathy ShapiroWe stayed a week. Staff was friendly. Pool was not very clean, cloudy lots of floating debris. Our site was pretty tight. Bathrooms were not very clean. They did have free laundry so that's a plus. Was also close to everything.
Apr 14, 2025 · K RiddleStayed 3 nights at new syrmna beach rv park in site 49, very quiet and neighbors were extra friendly. Some shaded spots. Our site was level but was all sand, same with the roads. We had sand throughout all our gear and rv. Price was very reasonable, would stay here again.
