Paynes Creek Campground Reviews
Great campground. Large spacious lots and it appears most of the lots are on the lake. Pause water and electricity at all the sites. Not sure about grey or black water dumping as I was tent camping and it appeared that this part of the facility did not work. But plenty of bathrooms and bath houses. There's also a playground located here. And dogs are welcome.

Nov 10, 2024 · Danielle KenwabikiseWe went and checked out the campground. It has power and water on sites. Most of the sites are pull through. Decent sites. We like the campground. Plan on staying here for a few weekends.
Mar 21, 2025 · Ray BaldwinI've stayed here 3 times and have booked my 4th trip because we love this campground so much. With so many sites that have easy access to the lake, it is a special experience to wake up, walk out the door, and right down to the water for a swim. Some of the most beautiful sunsets and rises have happened here, it's absolutely stunning to witness. Some sites don't have easy lake access, so scout out beforehand if you can. This is one slice of earthly heaven that I almost don't want to share with others. But, it is the perfect place for rejuvenation and isn't so far off the beaten path that you don't have service or access to restaurants and stores within 10-15 minutes. We will come back as long as this place stays open!
Dec 11, 2024 · Carly CissonNice quiet campground. Sites are very large and spacious. Comfort stations are dated but very clean. We enjoyed our time here. Update May 2022: We've been to this campground 4x now, it's a great place!
