Silver Springs Campground Reviews
We've camped here for a weekend getaway for almost 15 years, usually Labor Day Weekend. Always a great stay! At one point we had 4 generations camping at the same time here! Previous owners were awesome, new owners are great, too! Lots of attractions in the region. We always do lobster and steamers, too! We weren't able to get in during the 2024 season as they had no sites left the weekend we wanted to go. Making plans already for the 2025 season to camp here. Hopefully they aren't already booked up!
Jan 23, 2025 · Greg PattenAmazing owners , grounds very well taken care of, close to the Ocean, Old Orchard Beach, on site laundry, 2 pools, one being an adult pool with a hot tub, a playground, new black top basketball full Court, pickle ball, horse shoes , the list goes on and on!
Jul 12, 2016 · Jennifer HicksTo be upfront It rained our whole trip... although it is family friendly and the full timers are very considerate, managed well. I would have liked better drainage / gravel at the nightly sites. Overall a good experience. We left early due to drainage / camp is a mud pit or we would have stayed out full stay.Decent stay overall...
Jul 04, 2023 · Richieb Burn (Richie7666*)We only stayed 2 nights, but it was quite pleasant. The owners are very accommodating and the bathroom facilities are good (that’s how I start my ratings at campgrounds!). We would’ve stayed an additional night if not for having to give up the spot to a reserve. No problem, we were a “walk in”. They don’t have a lot of sites open, as they are mostly seasonal. That’s part of what is so nice - its more of a neighborhood than a campground.
