Skillet Creek Campground Reviews
I stayed at this campground a couple of times while attending a women's climbing event. Skillet Creek is a wonderful campground, and it would be my go-to if I lived in the state. The bathrooms are extremely clean, the sites spacious, and staff kind, and so much more. I cannot recommend it highly enough!
Nov 19, 2024 · Jess BurdenWe had a great stay at this campground. The site was wooded and large and felt secluded and the amenities (pond, playground, jumping pad etc.) were awesome for the kids. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. In fact, the entire place was beautifully-kept. The location is perfect for heading to Devil's Lake.My only word of warning is that the campground-led activities are boisterous and loud and (in our case) late at night. But they did advertise "prom weekend" and the "glow parade" so I can't say I didn't have a warning about it, and the other campers loved it.I will be staying here again!
Aug 14, 2024 · Emily MazzacavalloVery nice family friendly campground. RV sites were spacious. Tent sites 201-203 is one big open area with no trees separating the sites. Each of those sites could easily fit 6-8 tents. Site 204 is more secluded and surrounded by trees...more rocky ground than grass at this site. Bathrooms/showers across from the park are clean and ventilated. About 6 bathrooms and 6 showers including 1 each handicap accessible. The playground is nice...see saws, 5 swings & 1 child swing, slide, tower. Swimming lake is really nice, large, clean, filtered & has a slide. Across from that there is a jump pad, sand pit, & a sort of volleyball net. Prices here are reasonable & I have no complaints!! .

Jun 02, 2024 · Tyler LostWe stayed here for two nights at site# 112. The campground was quiet and clean. The staff were all very friendly. The sites are well spaced and grassy. The trees were well trimmed so no issues with our 11ft tall TT. There was a lot of rain yesterday and last night but I didn’t see any sites with standing water. The camp store was small but well stocked and the ice cream was delicious! The campground is very close to Devil’s Lake SP as well as several Wineries, a brewery and a distillery plus all the cute stores in Baraboo. This was our first trip with our new TT and our first time here. We would definitely come back.
