One reviewer declares Timpooneke Campground as "by far my favorite campground in Northern Utah," a strong testament to its appeal. A highlight for this camper is the opportunity to pitch their tent right next to the creek that meanders through many of the campsites. This creekside setting offers not only a tranquil ambiance but also the delightful sound of flowing water, enhancing the overall camping experience. The reviewer also mentions "lots of quality flora and fauna to enjoy," indicating a rich and diverse natural environment that is sure to delight nature lovers and those interested in observing local wildlife.
Another reviewer shared their positive experience while staying at Group Site 2, describing it as "perfect." A significant advantage of this group site was the abundance of shade, crucial for comfort during warmer months. The site also provided "plenty of spots to pitch our tents" and "enough parking area for all of our vehicles," making it exceptionally convenient for larger groups traveling with multiple vehicles and tents. A charming feature of Group Site 2 was a "little creek that ran through the middle of the campsite," which the children in the group thoroughly enjoyed playing in, adding a fun and natural element to their camping adventure. The reviewer also commended the "great" camp hosts, highlighting the positive and helpful staff who contribute to a pleasant stay. Sep 08, 2024 · Steve OIt's a beautiful secluded campground tucked right under Mt Timpanogos. Can get packed and busy all summer. Always a pleasant place to camp in my experience. Hiking trails are all around this area as well. Just visited for fall foliage pictures.
